"Yeah, he's this way."
Gwen came out of the house, running up to Levin and halting him from going further. "Are you daft? You should know that this spells trap, do not go any further, for we shall counter his trap." She put her hands on the ground, generating a circle on the ground. "Rahvine, I need you to stand here. And you Levin, stand here. We are going to summon something... big. I'm afraid that I cannot summon anymore, so Rahvine will represent the control of the summon, while you, having access to magic, will be powering it. The insignia in the middle is the portal for which it will come out. But one thing is for certain that we CAN NOT have the summon for too long, or it will gain immunity and cause disaster." She stepped onto the edge of the circle, "Ladies and Gentleman, the Black Beast!"
Levin was wide-eyed, "Wh-what?!" The circle on which they were standing on emitted a bluish aura, and then a huge black shadow emerged from the center, and roared as it was fully out of the circle.

Rahvine blinked, eyeing the shadow warily. "...Uh,... what is going on?" What does Gwen mean I'm the control? I don't know anything about magic, much less how to control it...

Gwen laughed, "For starters, Levin is powering the Black Beast. And you are controlling it. When you control a summon, think about what you want it to do, and it will autonomously do as you want it to. Thought... it's a peculiar thing, is it not?"
Levin felt this seeping of energy from himself, "This isn't going to leave a dent in my ability to use magic is it?"
"It will not permanently affect your magic, but you will feel too drained to be able to use it thereafter."
Levin sighed, "...Alright. Rahvine, take what Gwen said into consideration. It just might save our lives."

"Yeah..." Rahvine sighed. I just hope I don't screw it up... I'm not really known for my success at doing magic type stuff for very long... even if I'm not the one 'powering' it...
Rahvine looked over at Levin. "We better hurry up and find that guy."

The circle disappeared, and magic chains formed around Levin, Rahvine, and the Black Beast, and it too disappeared. "Looks like a pact has been made... that guy is over there." Levin pointed in the direction he was in. "I'm certain he's there... He's planning something. I hope he doesn't do anything that will devastate the village." Levin gestured for her to follow him with the Black Beast in tow.

Kenpachi saw the beast approaching, his energy was reaching high levels, "Well, I guess they got serious, guess I should too," he said to himself as his eyes flashed bright yellow and his body appeared to be just lightning energy. He roared as he soared in the air and flew right at him.

Here we go again... thought Rahvine, looking up as she heard Kenpachi's roar. "Beast thing, get him."

The Black Beast's tail blocked the attack, and it summoned little shadows from itself, going towards Kenpachi in attempt to attack him.
"Good start."

Kenpachi was fired up and was zooming around at lightning speed, pinging the beast. The beast was big, but Kenpachi was fast.

The beast took some of the hits, and made a lazy swipe at him with its teeth.
Hm? He looked over at Rahvine, "Hey, don't feel uncertain. I know you can do it Rahvine. Think about the reason we're doing this: to keep everyone safe, to make sure that we keep on living another day. Hold onto those thoughts with everything you can muster." He felt a little dizzy as the Black Beast received the hits.

But I don't know how to fight like this! I'm used to me doing the fighting. Me, not some thing that I have to think about making do stuff... I don't even know what to tell it to do. I don't fight like it probably would... thought Rahvine looking back and forth between Levin, and the black beast, her expression growing vaguely uneasy.
"...Uh,... get him with your claws... not your teeth..." muttered Rahvine. It's like I've told Zero before,... this magic stuff doesn't work well with me,... definitely not something this complex and involved... So now everyone's going to die because I don't know how to do this right... I'm so sick of being everyone's executioner... I hate this...

The Black Beast was starting to look choppy, and its red eyes began to emanate a faint glow. It was acting strange, whipping itself around and almost hitting Levin and Rahvine. "Rahvine... Relax." He looked back at the Black Beast then to Rahvine again. "Tell me what's wrong... If you decide against doing this... say something." Blood had went down his nose as he felt more dizzy. "That thing is about to go berserk..."

"It's just,... I can't fight like this..." muttered Rahvine. "I don't know how to fight using some kind of-... puppet." And so I'm going to end up killing everyone. Just like I always do... this is why I didn't want to fight and have to kill anyone else... I can't even do any fighting myself and actually do any good like this because I have to try to use this... thing...
