Slayer hugged back tightly " How do you like this temple that is decated to you my Goddess. I ordered the workers to make every Room like this. The palance they are building is almost complete also . That is also part of your surprise "
He got up from the chair and walked over to the back Exit of the temple . with her right beside him. Outside their was another surpise
He exited the temple and walked up the path to the palalce . The palance was made out of gold. It has marble staircase to the front gold doors. He spared no expense for his goddess. He loved her so much
" My love. How do you like the palace now. The workers made it on the Hill because you get a great view of Egypt. Besides We will be staying here for a few days. Then we will go back to the main camp. "

The boats hit the Mid Atlantic by the time the boat started taking on water. A sailor comes from below and reports the problem. Tarik is upset that Slayer would have given him a faulty boat. He agrees that they should stop at the nearest island to pump out the water and repair the boat.

Roarke chuckled as he lifted the sword he'd kept unsheathed, the blade flickering with an almost internal light as he concentrated. The ship accelerated slightly, moving more quickly with little bumps as slight waves pushed against the hull. Onyx chuckled as he came to the deck, his stance easily rocking slightly with the ship. "You know, I doubt Slayer will see the Soulless I sent after him," he said quietly. He noticed the armor Roarke wore. He chuckled, thinking of Tarik's reaction to his little surprise. He suspected he'd blame Slayer, never thinking it was a subtle method of slowing him down.

Eiji steadies himself as the waves begin to move the ship. When combined with the winds that were also pushing them forward, the ship begins to move at an accelerated rate. Eiji turns when he hears onyx approaching. Joy overcame Eiji to know that Onyx was alright, not like he had any doubt to begin with. "Oh really, so how will we know that your creature has succeeded?"

Onyx snorted. "There are ways to sense when one has either died for real, or when one succeeds. There's a good reason they're known by the names 'Soulless' and 'Gray Men'. They're neither alive nor dead, but something in between. It's physically impossible to see one, but there are ways around it. There are also those who have sent them after me personally, so we need to watch out for those people. In some ways, they're as dangerous or more so than Tarik himself. They have more than a few chosen servants who have 'talents' that make them dangerous. Ruthlessness being one of them," he said quietly. He gazed out over the ocean.

Eiji wanted to scream at Onyx for holding out a very important detail such as him having possible assassin coming for him that could be considered far more dangerous than Tarik himself. Eiji sighs to calm himself down and returns to gazing at the sea. He needed to train his skills so that he was prepared for the next fight with Skurai. Looking over at his horse he waves his hands as both of the sheathed swords rise and float toward him. He would have to start with being able to maneuver his extra blades better so that he wasn't lashing out blindly.

Onyx sensed their annoyance and worry that he hadn't revealed that information. There was a reason for it; he hadn't revealed his added talents to anyone, not even Amys. She was a dreamwalker, and quite harsh at times. He closed one hand as he concentrated, a small ball of swirling darkness forming in his palm. Fortunately, I have grown in ways they will never expect, and their threat will not stop us, he thought. He remembered the one woman who'd gone after him herself. Her looks had nearly cost him his life. She'd thrown a weave of Air and Fire at him that incinerated the table and chair between them, creating a panic that enabled him to escape for a short time. He was unable to use whatever power they could, but he could sense how they used it. The ball of darkness shrank to the size of a small tennis ball, gaining a noticeable rotation in its depths. The rotation gained rapidity surprisingly fast.

Aku held both hand on her mouth as she stepped back. I can't believe...all for me..but I... She thought as a rain of emotion washed over her. She sighed, trying to find her voice then looked over to Slayer. "The workers? Have they been rewarded..? " She asked, wondering that so she may at least not feel that guilty. She had nothing to give, but...there was one thing. She debated even thinking of it, her head suddenly felt heavy as she held it with her hand. Her eyes in a daze, then she shook her head as she realized what she was doing.

Acos shot through the sky above the boat. "Yipee!" She cried.

Eiji held his hand steady as the blades started to rotate in front of him. He then switches one of the blades to his other hand and starts to rotate it again. His attention is then diverted as Acos flies by. He chuckles at the girl's enjoyment, trying to regain his concentration.

Acos didn't see them watching her, and kept on flying. She went in front of the boat, skimming along the water, until she saw a dark shape. "Probably just a rock..." she told herself. Then it moved. Oh...my...gosh. she thought. That is way too big to be a whale. Or a shark. She flew back to the deck, a bit frazzled.

Onyx noticed her worried look and headed towards the bow of the ship. "We've got company, and it doesn't look friendly," he said quietly. His body tensed visibly, like a bowstring drawn taut. Roarke moved to gaze alongside him. "Tha' doesn't look good," was all he said. He'd sheathed the two katanas he now carried.

Eiji tries to calm Acos then turns his attention to both Onyx and Roarke, who were both looking at something. He follows there gaze in attempts of seeing what they considered to be "Unfriendly company."
