"Well I just said I'll punish them if they hurt her. Never said they can't talk."  

[Zahzi]

"Keep in mind that they still remember what happened to that Baron who thought your daughter was up for grabs....We're still washing his remains from the Mosaku..."  

[Randomly Gone Insane]

"1) She was married at this point. 2) He wanted to hold her hostage. 3) He wasn't going to be very friendly about holding her. 4) As a mother, I had to do something to protect her from this impending doom. He put up a fight, so I had to fight back. I can't help it he accidentally ended up in the engines."  

[Zahzi]

"...You threw him in after you tied him up..."  

[Randomly Gone Insane]

"He WIGGLED himself from my grip. WIGGLED."  

[Zahzi]

"...You punted him into it..."  

[Randomly Gone Insane]

"I was kicking him for biting my hand when I tried to grab him."  

[Zahzi]

"PUNT. Not KICK."  

[Randomly Gone Insane]

"It was a kick!" Lady snapped.

Meanwhile...

Rachel was in her room, sitting on the bed with a tub of ice cream in her lap, a spoon in one hand, and video phone in the other.

". . .Dad." She whined, eating another spoonful of ice cream. "Am I poser?"  

[Zahzi]

"Riiiiiight..." Gray said with a sigh.


Gil looked from her, to the ice cream, and back to her.
"........Did we have a fight with some boy or something...?"  

[Randomly Gone Insane]

"You know I'm right!"

"What?! No!" Rachel snapped, tossing the spoon into the tub and shoving it out of view.
"Why would you think that?" She laughed hysterically, before going quiet.

"...Someon-- Some people think I'm only here because I think I belong or something like that, and Gray and Lady worked to slip me in because of our relationship."  

[Zahzi]

"Debatable..."

Gil just stared at her.
"...This IS about a boy, isn't it?"  

[Randomly Gone Insane]

"There's nothing to debate!"

"I said no!" Rachel snapped, reaching over and scooping another spoonful of ice cream. "The other soldiers are just being a bunch of asses to me, thinking and calling me a poser. And why?" She growled, getting another scoop.
"Because I'm not some ******** champion like he is! OH WOE IS ME! I don't have a family and I'm on a ship full of people who want to protect their own family! So I'll be a ******** jackass to them and start calling them posers and act like some high and mighty ******** a** because I'M THE CHAMPION!" She yelled, dropping the phone (just perfectly so she could still stay in view) and grabbing for the tub, wolfing the ice cream.  

[Zahzi]

Gray just gave a sigh, shaking his head.

Gil just gave a dull stare, watching her consume the ice cream.
"...It's like I'm watching one of those god-awful chick flicks your mother insists that I watch with her....."
