Tori looked up as he heard someone else nearby. He pushed his pant leg back down and pulled out a cigarette, lighting he took a drag and blew out the smoke in a long breath. Watching the stranger carefully he leaned back on the bench, his silver and blue hair waving in the breeze a little.

Cain glanced again, the silver in the boy’s hair catching his eyes this time. His nose wrinkled a little as the smell of cigarette smoke wafted to him. ‘What a disgusting habit…’ Cain commented within his own mind. After a moment he stopped, considering just here his brother might be. ‘Somewhere open…’ He thought, lost in thought for the moment, head tilted down and eye staring at the ground without seeing.

Tori wasn't hiding the fact that he was watching this odd person, more curious now than ever. "Hey, you gonna stand there spacing out all day or are you gonna get about your business?" he asked, his voice layered with sarcasm. He took another long drag of his cigarette as he watched the other.

Cain looked up at the sound of a voice. He could only assume the words where directed at him, after all, who else was around? His eyes landed on the young man, cold like a snake’s when examining prey. Cain shrugged as his answer. He couldn’t say yes or no for sure, he still had to figure something out. Besides, he couldn’t speak if he wanted to.

Tori wasn't phased by the coldness in the other's eyes, but instead smirked. "Alright, have fun with that then." he said. He put out his cigarette and rubbed his bruised thigh with a heavy sigh. "Crazy people in the mall." he muttered to himself.

Cain’s look turned almost questioning, looking from the young man’s leg and back up at his face. With a slight sigh, Cain took out his notepad and a pencil, writing down something. He then walked over and held out the paper for the other to read. “A man who is ‘of sound mind’ is one who keeps the inner madman under lock and key.”

Tori looked at the paper and frowned slightly. "Am I supposed to know what that means?" he asked. Picking at the paint on his pants he peels some of the red off while looking up at the guy.

Slight exasperation appeared in Cain’s expression as he flipped the paper over and wrote “Everyone is crazy to some extent.” He paused a moment and then added, “What happened?”

Tori read the paper and nodded. "Okay, I should have gotten that right away. And I just had a little fun painting my name on the security guard's glass, some guy tackled me cause I almost ran over his boyfriend." he explained.

Cain nodded and then wrote, “The the boyfriend should have moved out of your way faster.” And he honestly meant it too; if someone’s running you don’t just stand there like a deer in the headlights.

Tori grinned as he read what the other had written. "Well, thanks for taking my side in that. Most would just call me an idiot and smack me upside the head for being a vandal." he said, blue eyes sparkling with amusement behind his blue sunglasses. "What's your name silent stranger?" he asked, if he wasn't interested in having any sort of contact with someone he wouldn't ask their name, but this guy was interesting.

Cain’s expression stayed the same even as the young man seemed to be amused by what he wrote. Looking down at the note pad he wrote, “Cain Alexander. What is your name?” Cain hated his name, it seemed to be another sign his mother didn’t really want him.

Tori nodded slightly. "Pleasure to meet you Cain, I'm Tori." he said, rubbing his thigh again with a grimace. "What brings you to this fine park on this nice day?" he inquired, just wanting to make conversation.

Cain watched as Tori winced at the bruise on his leg. He thinks for a moment before taking his pencil to the paper and writes, “Just visiting. What about you?” He decided not to tell exactly who or why he was visiting.
