Mairi snorted slightly and scooped Ginhana up so she wouldn't get stepped on by the people milling about Sure.And you get to explain how she came to be so." She bit her lip slightly, a little uncomfortable by the few people that watched as they entered.She was getting better with the stares, but it still bugged her.Ginhana huffed when she was picked up but otherwise made no sound.

Raen snickered slightly. "That won't be hard; just remember how Sakura found her and say the same basic thing just with you finding her instead," he murmured with amusement. He was cautious yet at the same time mildly amused.

Mairi lowered her face slightly to hid the blindfold some "And then they'll ask why a blind girl was out in the forest alone.It'd be easier just for you to say she's yours and took to helping me out or something." Ginhana's ears twitched slightly as she listened to the people around them.

Raen decided not to mention that he'd had the idea of claiming he and Mairi had been on a picnic when a curious vixen had taken a liking to Mairi and was now in many ways a partner to her. "Considering she seems to prefer you over me... and usually hides when a certain noisy cousin is around... it's obvious whom she likes most," he said with a slight teasing tone as he shrugged slightly.

Mairi rubbed Ginhana's ears lightly She doesn't like me that much more than you.And If I had ears like her's when Sakura's around I'd probably hide too." She waited patiently for the long ling of returning students to dwindle so they could check on classes.

Raen glanced around as the students dwindled over several minutes before they had a chance to speak to the woman at the desk. "Well, if you had ears like hers, it'd be adorable," he joked with Mairi with a grin twitching at the corners of his mouth as he stepped up to the desk, glancing down at the available classes. He noticed a few that would be useful and a few he liked. He had a song in mind he hadn't revealed to Mairi, one that held a unusual message behind the lyrics.

Mairi flushed slightly "You are so weird sometimes.." Stepping up beside him, she found the other sheet that held the available classes and ran her fingers over the words lightly.Even though he'd helped her locate object easier when he'd returned her 'gift' she'd lost her ability to read using it.The words shimmered slightly at her touch before an ethereal form of them lifted off the paper, unseen by anyone other than Raen and herself, allowing her to read them.She had a few things of her own, flitting through her mind, but didn't give voice to them at the moment.

Raen snickered slightly at Mairi's expense. He thought it would be amusing, but didn't plan on pulling any pranks yet. He intended to sign up for a few of the science classes as well as some of the music classes. He was no slouch in math, but found it boring.

Mairi made a face at him and quickly chose her classes, mostly art and music, though she tossed in a linguistics class and a cooking class just for kicks.Ginhana, narrowed her eyes at Mairi's last choice but kept quiet.

Raen tilted his head thoughtfully. "Never tried cooking, though I'd probably be better with mixed drinks, to be honest," he muttered. He did sign up for a couple of art classes as well as a songwriting class though his preference leaned more towards music.

Mairi kicked Raen lightly behind the counter where the clerk couldn't see, muttering back "You want that then you need to take mixology, not cooking." She gave the clerk a tentative smile and handed in her application, moving out of the way of the people behind her to sit and wait for Raen.She idly wondered what the students would think of having a blind classmate if she was accepted.

Raen shrugged, noticing a class for mixology before sighing as he signed up for it and handing over his application. He leaned against the wall not too far from Mairi, not seeming to notice that when he shifted the guitar around in front of him it changed from an acoustic guitar to an electric guitar. His fingers started idly flickering over the strings as he had his eyes half closed, singing softly under his breath.

Mairi listened quietly as Raen played, wondering what had made him choose that, of all songs she knew had to be going through his mind, to play.She also noticed some of the students already enrolled in the college paused in their work or errands to listen as well.

Raen slowly opened his eyes, glancing momentarily towards Mairi, though he noticed several students, including Michiru, who were watching him either from the corners of their eyes or as they had paused. He didn't think about why they'd paused, not really thinking that they would be listening to him as he didn't feel all that talented.

Mairi ept her head lowered slightly but gave Raen a small encouraging smile.Easily slipping back into that connection they shared "You shouldn't hide it anymore.You're far better than you think." She rubbed Ginhana's ears as the fox watched curiously.
