                  Adblock is a godsend and Star Driver is hilarious with gorgeously animated scenery and is an amazing feel-good action/rom-com where the hero always saves the day.

I can see it's merits for those who like that sort of thing... but I'm not exactly a feel good type. Starting watching One-Piece is the happiest animu I've been involved with for a while.

I couldn't stand One Piece. I don't know if it was the animation, the pirate premise (not a pirate fan), or what . . . just not for me.

I should have known about that. Star Drivers. *facepalm*

Yeah, I never really got One Piece, either, but most of my anime-loving friends like it. *shrugs* The style/mood/ton of some anime just never really jives w/ me (it was hard for me to get into Soul Eater).

Redline seems interesting. I may have to check it out sometime.

My current viewing is Zeta Gundam, One Piece and Attack on Titan. When I can take the retardery of Tenchi in Tokyo I watch it for superdickery values.
I'm also reading Biomeat:Nectar and other horror stuff, mostly as background stuff for when I launch the Department as a full fictional verse.

@Skreemer: That would do it.

I generally prefer classic anime, like Trigun, Outlaw Star, Tenchi Muyo Ryo-Ohki 1 & 2, Tenchi Universe, Gundams G & Wing, DB & DBZ, Ghibli films, Sailor Moon, etc...
However, I enjoy good modern ones when I find them, but most don't hold a candle to the classics.

I will have to look up Hokuto no Ken and B To H Kei.
EDIT: Oh, Hokuto no Ken == Fist of the North Star. Not interested in its level of gore, but I recognize it, JoJo, Saint Seiya, and Vampire Hunter D are long-running for good reason.

Nope, not that. This is a show that is a comedy about a girl (narcissistic) who wants to be with 100 guys . . . but can't seem to bed one guy that she seems to be falling for. wink

Yeah, B Gata H Kei is about as far from Hokuto no Ken as you can get.
