I suppose it is a double-edged sword. On one hand, you have the ability to truly dive into a specialization that you enjoy. On the other, it creates subgenres within subgenres like a labyrinth.

Very true, but you also run into crossovers which introduce and/or cross-pollinate genres. Having sub-sub-genres of anything is okay, as long as such are neither exclusionary nor antagonistic. When you reach out, it can be a good thing and introduce you to subsects that may interest a person.

I had no idea what to say, and it was a mediocre to meh day. At least, it was then.

I've never been one for shooters, or co-op games. Thus, this game has only the most minimal amount of my attention. Not saying it is a bad game, but saying it is not for me.

I've been playing Guns of Icarus. So damn frustrating trying to break level 8 in a class and leave novice ranks behind.

I have not had the money or drive to get a new game in over a year. I've just been regoing through my old games. They still are just as viable, and my only regret is that I have but two games for my PS4, and one of them is horrible. Thus, the PS3 remains my primary system of play. That said, new stuff keeps showing up in my Fallout 3 playthrough. such as the following said the other day.

"What is that? An albino radscorpion? Damn! How much ammo does this thing need to die?! s**t s**t s**t s**t DEATHCLAW!!!!" dead. Respawn. "Yeah, I am going to avoid that spot for now . . . "
