Zuko had stayed up all night, staring out the window, waiting for his ship to return.
What was taking them so long? It just seemed ridiculous that they should still be out at sea...

Sokka awoke from his spot on the tree, yawning peacefully. The yawn woke hawky up, who jumped and made a loud noise as reaction. Sokka gave a carefree laugh and pet his friend. "Morning hawky."

Zuko groaned to himself, wondering what time it was. And he had to admit to himself, he was curious as to what had become of Sokka.

Sorry that was short and stupid, I ran to dinner... >>; ))
Rising from his position, he couldn't help but wonder what the prince was up to.
Damn it, why bother wasting his time with thinking about stupid head... anyway...
Speaking of which, he needed a mean nickname for the guy.
Mean nicknames were the best.
Heh.
His stomach growled loudly, interrupting his thoughts.
"I should.. get food."
Deciding against visiting the prince, he decided he'd try to catch or find something. That'd work. He pulled out his boomerang eagerly, wondering where to start.

My post was short and stupid too. D: I can't get inspired tonight.))
Zuko stood up and stretched. He was definitely tired of being cramped up in this room. He decided to go downstairs for some breakfast, then take a walk outside. Maybe if he was on dock he would be able to see better if his ship was coming.

((HAH, what if Sokka's boomerang hit Zuko in the head on accident? ))
Once he was farther from the inn, he caught side of a small flying bird and whirled his boomerang at it. Meanwhile hawky was already eating a small rat next to him. Sokka glared enviously at him. "No fair..." He grunted, catching the boomerang in his hand. He'd missed. But he'd get it this time. And again, he threw it in the air but the bird darted down to the ground and started eating a worm as the weapon flew past it.
GAH! Everybody was eating except for him! How unfair...

Zuko was taking a walk down the port streets with a couple of onigiri, munching on them distractedly as he stared off at the empty ocean.

"Damn it. You stupid bird."
Hawky made a bitter noise.
"Not you, that one." Sokka explained, running to startle the small bird eating it's prey. The bird, startled, jumped back into the air. "HIGHHH-YA!!" He exclaimed, throwing his boomerang as he was running, it disappeared into the distance towards the ocean, completely missing the bird.

"ARGH!!!" a shout was heard from the distance, then a clunk. "Urgh..." Zuko groaned, putting a hand over the mark on his head where Sokka's boomerang had hit it. ((his boomerang's pretty sharp; would it leave a slash or a bump? XD;; )) He looked down at the ground to see who his daring attacker was, noticing the boomerang. He picked it up and examined it angrily, thinking it looked familiar.

It never... came back? Did it? Maybe it hit somethign edible?
Sokka decided to run in the direction it had flown off in. "Come on Hawky, let's go!" He cried eagerly.
The bird swallowed the rest of the rat before following.
"Boomerang!? Where are you?!" He yelled as he came closer towards the water.

Hearing Sokka's shouting, Zuko snapped his head up with an angry glint in his eyes, searching for the source of the voice. Seeing Sokka, his glare deepened, and he quickly made his way over to the other, "You pathetic excuse for a peasant! Decided to throw your stupid toy at me to get revenge for last night?!" he huffed, shaking said 'toy' in Sokka's face.
