Well, all it does for me is it makes Kir's physical condition worse. He's kinda beat up already. Not getting a break after all this time...

I think that's fairly easy to explain.
On school nights, you can't really go out anywhere since you have to get up in the morning, so more people are online.
On the weekend when you have tones of free time, everyone's out partying all day, lol.

but on the other side, wouldn't people have more free time on the weekends, without homework/work to do at home, which some people get from their jobs.

Exactly. And they use that extra free time to do things that require more time.
Like sometimes I would be on because me and some other people will play Halo for eight hours, which is something you can't do on a weekday, lol.
