Vincent's eyes slowly returned to normal, he dusted himself off and looked at Evie, he just laughed a little. " Relax Evie, I bit your neck nothing more, the pleasure doesn't mean the same thing to a vampire as it does to a human, to vampires pleasure is actually a bad thing, it's what you feel when you let your guard down, and you're about to die. " He turned from her and walked towards the edge of the building. Standing there he looked up at the moon letting the wind blow his hair slightly. " To be perfectly honest I don't know if I could hear Nasrin, it's not everyday I find someone with two minds inhabiting one body, it's even rarer for me to feed on a human. " His gaze fixed on the moon, it's silver reflection visible in his pale eyes. He thought for a moment before answering her question. " It's hard to say, gifteds are created by others, like the Mad Man, he's just the most prominent and most dangerous. There aren't many vampires out there most likely only a few thousand. Most of them succumb to their blood lust and are driven to madness by the ectasy they feel when they feed. To feed and not kill a victim is rare, I would imagine that only a handful of vampires like myself have ever done it. Forgive me but I refuse to acknowledge Sai as a vampire, he's not, he only feeds on blood like we do, he is not a vampire no matter what the Mad Man gave him. " He turned around and started to walk back towards her. " However I will try my best to answer your question. For a vampire to feed and not kill is usually a sign of friendship, or desperation, if he has fed on you multiple times it might simply be because there is no one else suitable around, or it could mean he simply holds your blood higher in value then the others. We don't feed on people because we love them, we do it to survive. If a vampire's prey is bitten by another vampire the blood becomes 'tainted' to the original drainer, they can tell that another vampire has bitten the host and therefore causes the once pure blood to become vile to the taste. " He wiped his mouth lightly again. " The only reason your blood tasted fine to me is because he isn't a real vampire. " He sighed and rubbed the bridge of his nose for a second. " I will pretend like it's the same thing and give you my honest opinion. Think of vamppires as wolves, for one of us to give up Prey is like a wolf giving up a kill it next to never happens, we are very protective over those that we have marked. " He said pointing to her new pair of white marks. " Sorry but those probably won't be going anywhere, neither will Sai's sadly. " He sighed and said. " Ultimately he's probably not taking it well, he probably feels weak for not being able to do what I did, that's a shot to more then just his vampiric side, it;s a shot to his pride. " He stood there the wind blowing his hair over one of his eyes he was like a phantom in the moonlight. " Do you understand now what has happened? "
" Just relax, sometimes people just can't see what's infront of them. Besides maybe this isn't your mission but your's will come. You seem like a very well rounded person, the kind of girl that can do any mission. However there are just some people that specialize in a particular talent you have in other words you're a jack of all trades and they are just specialized. You are not weak, believe me. " He said with a wide grin. He walked towards the ground and stood next to her. " See? You're actually a fantastic person for any mission. "

Karana looked up at Cheshure. "I know I shouldn't be angry about it. I guess I'm just really peeved that my turn hasn't come yet. But just once I would like them to come to me and ask me to do something important or dangerous. Just once I wish they would come to me and ask me to track down a certain person instead of always going to Alex." She smiled at him. "I'm sure you can understand where I'm coming from. In other words, I wish I was on the front lines sometimes instead of being constantly pushed into the background. I'm sure my skills could be put to good use if I was just given the chance." She stretched her arms and rested them behind her head and leaned her chair back on two legs.

[[I'm still a little confused, and Sera's away from the group, but I hope this is alright...]]
Sera sighed and rested her head on the table she was sitting at. She was at a diner. By now, she'd reached Arizona, but she hadn't heard anything from the other Sentinels, so she decided to just chill back and look around. She'd just entered the diner, and sat down at one of the back booths, where it was mainly empty. She picked her head up and straightened her position, sliding the menu on the other side of the table in front of her and flipping it so she could read it. The options on the menu were simple things, like 'orange juice' or 'scrambled eggs.' Whatever humans normally found at diners. A waiter noticed she was looking through the menu and approached her. "Are you ready to order?" Sera gave a nod to him. "Can I please have a Caesar salad and a Cappuccino?" The waiter nodded to her. "Alright. I'll be back with your order soon." Sera gave her thanks and rested her head back on the table as she waited.

(Ok writers block, so this stuff has nothin ta do with anything. Unless ya wanna know more about Sai, its skipable)
After staring at the ceiling for what felt like forever, Sai stood up and continuied his aimless walk. Even this normally mindnumbing routine couldnt stop him from thinking about Evie and Sentinal. These thoughts though soon led back to the vampire Vincent and from their his own little form of the curse. Idely he began to rub the fang marks within his own neck. Sai grimced in remembrance. True, vampirism was extending his otherwise very short lifespan but in hindsight he wondered if it was worth it. All it really did for him was allow him to aquire blood more quickly while in the field and repair the internal tears that his true powers caused.
Sai balled up his fists as he walked, letting his mind wander deeper and deeper into thought. As his thoughts raged on he found himself walking faster and faster. "If I hadnt asked him...no...if I hadnt sighned that stupid contract...if i hadnt asked for the mad hatter...if I hadnt let him go...I'd never have this stupid half curse, never need to raid hospitals ...never....never have had to hurt Evie..." A blank look came over Sai's face as he slowed down, finding himself outside. "I'd...I'd never have gotten to know Evie....or Renault or...anyone." He came to a stop and stared down at the ground. "This is stupid...curseing myself for whats keepin me alive... for what let me meet..." Sai trailed off and couldnt help but crack a stupid grin and laugh. "Heh, now i dont know whether to kill him or thank him... the mad man, thief of lives an dreams...and not bad at extendin some either...hahaha" He continuied to laugh, letting a few small tears fall from his one good eye.

Evie let out a small sigh and took a seat down on the roof for a minute after Vincent let her go. She just didn't trust herself standing on her own just yet. She could remember the first time Sai fed from her, she fell down the second she tried to walk away. But then again, that time Sai took a bit more blood then Vincent did. "Well I'm glad in a way that pleasure doesn't mean the same thing to you, but I still want to apologize for the way I reacted. I wasn't exactly....thinking properly at the time." She murmured. "And if you have a connection with Nasrin...you'll find out soon enough. She's not exactly the type to stay silent. Believe me...I would know."
Evie looked up at the stars while she listened to Vincent's answer. Every word made her heart sink just a little more. She knew Sai wasn't a real vampire, but when it came to prey, she had a feeling that the principles would be the same. But as Vincent spoke, she realized something, "It's going to be the same for you then too won't it?" She asked softly, almost not wanting to know the answer. "You just said it yourself....Vampires, full or other wise, are protective over those they mark. And now I've been marked by you both." Evie pulled her knees up to her chest, wrapping her arms around them and resting her chin on her knee. "Maybe...it's a good thing that you don't consider him a real vampire then." With any luck it would mean that Vincent wouldn't feel the same thing that Sai was feeling now, if Sai ever fed on her again. Assuming Sai didn't find her blood tainted now that is. Because...if Sai needed blood in a hurry, she would offer without question, just as she always has. On that thought, Evie let go of her legs, and slowly stood up. "Thank you Vincent..." Evie whispered in her mind, meaning for him to hear. For telling her the truth, and for biting her despite knowing what it would mean. "Could we...go back now? I want to see Sai...and see if he's alright."

He tore his gaze from the moon, looking over his shoulder at her he smiled again. " It's no wonder your blood was so delicious. You're to kind for your own good. " He said as he walked from the border of the roof. " Yes Vampire's don't confuse our feeding pleasure with intimate relations with people, think of it like business, we do it because we have to, we're just being nice about it. He looked down at her and sighed lightly. " You have good ears, I said we feel protective of our prey, but I think your confusing our intent. We care for you the way a wolf cares for a kill like I said. Sai cares for you the way a person cares about another tat they refuse to live without. Come on Evie. He's waiting for you. " His body slowly evaporated into mist which once again surrounded her. Slowly tranforming her back into mist they seeped into the ground disappearing. While they were in their mist like state Vincent replied to her mental message. "Don't thank me, I have a feeling I built a wall between you and Sai"
" Be patient, it will come, believe me. : He said as he walked over and gave her a tight hug. " Everything happens for a reason, maybe your friends just worry, it's sometimes hard to watch the people you care about put their lives in danger, don't worry Karana, everything will get better. "
(( And that concludes this chapter of the RP Congratulations!!!!!!!! 3nodding ))

Chapter 3: Those who Dance with the Devil. As the sun peaked over the edge of the horizon Brian stood in his room looking out.His sword had been returned to him and as it was clipped to his back. He turned from the window and began to head for the door. " We've got a plan to enact. " He said softly. His mind processed and worked out every scenario he could think of, he knew who they needed to target and how. He walked down to the kitchen and opened the fridge. He grabbed the eggs and turned the stove on. He quickly cracked three eggs stirring them together with a fork he waited until they were completely whipped, slowly he poured the mix into the skillet and began to make an omelette. Vincent stood on the roof of the building, he had returned after he had taken Evie back down. His arms folded his gaze starring into the neverending distance he let his arms relax. " I was right. It was a beautiful night, now to go greet our new Sentinel friends. " He said with a fanged grin. He sat down on the edge of the roof, starring at the distance still. He wondered it Evie was right, was he starting to care to much about his food? She was just some girl he had fed on she was nothing special to him, he supposed it was just his vampiric instincts fighting with his rational side. Cheshure lay in his bed curled into a small ball. A soft smile existed on his face as his alarm clock rang telling him to get up. He slowly opened his eyes and reached for the clock. He gripped it and threw it at the wall it didn't break but it stoppedd beeping. " There's a snooze button for ya. " He said as he snuggled back into the sheets and closed his eyes again.

Yukina was already up just as the sun was rising. She had dressed in her usual attire and had already gotten a shower. She had flown back to her condo last night instead of staying at the base. Unlike Karana, Yukina was rather indifferent about what she did. She did not like a fight and only did so when she had no other choice. She preferred to stay in the background and heal anyone who needed it. After eating two pieces of toast and washing it down with some orange juice, she walked outside and spread her wings, taking off into the air and headed back towards Eden. Karana lay awake early that morning. She had gone to bed after Cheshure had cheered her up somewhat last night. It still didn't stop her from wishing that she could do something beneficial instead of the same thing that she had been doing for twelve years. It certainly got dull after awhile. She had stayed at Eden instead of going to her parents. They were on a cruise from what their answering machine said when she'd used one of the phones to call them. It was just as well. At least there wasn't much of a chance in Sentinel getting their hands on them. Karana stood up and walked towards the closet and pulled out a shirt and a pair of jeans. After that, she began to get ready for the day. Lena yawned. It was morning already and she had been driving all night. She'd put the top down and put the radio on some upbeat music and drove in silence as the others slept. The cool voice from the GPS system warned her that they would be arriving at their destination in a little under two hours. She sighed in relief. That was good. She should have woken up one of the others last night so that they could have driven. She just hoped that her lack of sleep wouldn't affect her mission.

Sai normaly sat on the roof to watch the sun rise. Today however, he sat on the edge of a window, his back proped up against the wall and his coat hanging from his outstretched foot. He knew it was stupid and childish but he couldnt look at Vincent yet. Partly ashamed for needing extra help to manage his own powers but mostly because of the previouse night. His black eye bandages were losely held in his left hand as he opened the branded eye. Sai hoped, as he did every morning, that the pleasant sun would be enough to clear up the darkness within the mostly empty socket but as always the black void could not be penetrated.
Despite this a smile creeped across his face. "Well perhaps tomorrow then..." Sai began to put the bandages on then stopped. He'd had the bandages off when he had seen Evie. His smile dropped some. That had been the first time she'd seen him without it, and the fourth person to ever see his empty eye, not counting doctors. "Hope it didnt freak her out to much..." Sai sighed as he stood, drapeing his coat over his shoulder. Last night had been...awkward. His smile hadnt faltered but that meant nothing to those that really knew him. Sai gave a final glance at the sun before pulling his hair down to mask the side of his face. "Well gues today's the day..." He clenched his fists for a moment as he thought of the coming mission. Sai stopped to regain his compsure and once he could put on his perfectly happy smile again he walked into the kitchen. "Mmm, somethign smells nice."

Alex had slamed the alarm as she woke up. Sitting up in the bed, her piercing hazel eyes could be seen in the mirrror. She showered and did a normal routine of hygene and grooming. She then put on some flip flops, a green tank top and some caprees. Attire she would not have been found dead in but it was nothing but girly things in her room. She walked downstairs as she saw the Brian and Sai. Not saying anything she sat at the table.
Kikyo had been up all night. Well she had been on and off for the night. Kikyo had dressed for school as she grabbed her things running down the stairs. "Everyone...I've got good news....I can seal things" she said tumbling down the stairs. "Ow" she said loudly. Standing up she looked for her fellow Eden members.
Angelina had opened her eyes as she saw Lena still driving. "Sorry for dosing off, I would have offered to drive" she admitted. Looking at the gps she could see they were close. "I think some of our comrades are there already as well" she said.

Sera slowly opened her eyes to find her face on a table. As she regained consciousness, she realized that she was being nudged awake. She lifted her head up in confusion, then saw that the person nudging her was the waiter that had served her the day before. "Huh?" She looked around, half of her face red from being on the table for so long, and realized that she was still at the diner. "I'm sorry for waking you... I would've kept you asleep, it's just... Our manager said that it was ok for you to spend one night here, since by the time we were closing, we found you asleep. But he said that he's going to kick you out if you decide to sleep here again..." The waiter told her with a sad look on his face. "Oh... I'm sorry..." She said, standing up and fixing her clothes. "Thanks." She said, giving the waiter some money out of generosity before leaving the diner and entering her car to look for a hotel or something.

[Sorry for being idle for quite a long time! >_<] Once Sisters.. Gimme your best shot! Ĵσℓɛиɛ Jolene yawned and stretched when her nose caught the smell of eggs lingering in the air. She didn't realise that she had fallen asleep on the couch after the little meeting last night. She wanted to sleep some more but doing so would only make her feel lazy and grumpy all day. "Morning!~",she yawned to the others as she walked into the kitchen. She wasn't hungry but she couldn't help herself from rummaging the shelves for a cookie or a granola bar, or maybe even a box of cornflakes to munch on. You can't say goodbye when you're dead... Ĵɛωɛℓℓɛ Jewelle woke with a start when she heard the radio then voices shortly after that. "I fell asleep?..Hey look! A perfect day to kill a governor! Ooh~ I just can't wait to feel his blood and gore all over my hands!",she yawned with a hint of mischief as she spoke. All she remembered was tugging on Lucas's hair then getting a threat and everything went blank when her eyes closed. So much for taking a just 'short' nap. They were not too far from Arizona now and she was starting to get all giddy inside. Forever enemies...

Karana walked into the kitchen after she had gotten dressed and ready for the day. When she stepped inside, she noticed that a few of the others were already in there. She yawned and walked over to one of the chairs and sat down. "M-M-Morning," she said through another yawn. She folded her arms on the table and rested her head on them looking sideways at Kikyo and nodding. How that girl learned something so complicated that fast was beyong Karana, whose mind was still asleep. Yukina was a little more awake than Karana was. She walked into the kitchen about five minutes after Karana did and walked straight to the refrigerator. She poured herself a glass of orange juice and sat down at the table sipping it. "Good morning, everyone," she said in the tone of someone who had been up for quite awhile and was already wide awake. She looked at the others who had arrived.

Alethea paced the floors of the rendezvous spot where the others were supposed to meet up with her. She was collectively impatient and found no excuse for such a poor display of punctuality. Not to mention, that her powers were all but useless now that it was daylight, aside from the archery abilities that she possessed, she had all the skills of a slightly better than average human. Around her shoulders and draped over her head, a black cloak shielded her from what little light was able to peak through the boarded up windows. Her icy pale skin was offset by the choice color of the cloak that she bathed herself in for the time being. God, she hoped that those gathering of loose cannons and bloodthirsty idiots that Mad Man summoned together at least had the common sense to come here and wait for the nightfall before they acted. More light meant more chances to screw up, if Mad Man wanted terror tactics than he would want things done quick, quiet and messily. What better way to strike terror than have the boogieman come and shatter all sense of security when humans felt the most vulnerable. Besides, she showed restraint yesterday, despite the fact that she was here and could have performed her tasks without the rest of the Sentinels, she chose not to and allowed them to take part in this as well. She figured that she would never hear the end of it if she did.
Alethea hadn’t been a member for very long, she was found maybe a month ago at the latest, so she was still trying to get settled into the group -more or less- she was one of those ‘no nonsense’ type of personalities within the group. She was a hunter; cold, ruthless, quick and quiet. She preferred the terror tactics of making it seem like what she was doing was the result of a ghost, a phantom or something else that spawned the stuff of nightmares in the imaginations of the human species. She wasn’t sure if this was in Mad Mans tastes of things or not. But she wasn’t exactly kicked off the team just yet so either he didn’t mind or had use for her cold calculations that it appeared that the others were lacking. Alethea knew that everyone of the members was different individually, and even though there were a few that she never actually worked with before, she got the feeling like the team did things quiet… destructively. She likened them to the tank being used to open a walnut. A little overkill in her limited opinion. But then again, maybe that was what Mad Man was going for… and perhaps the reason for her was for when he needed things to be more thought out and tactic full. Perhaps the reason that Mad Man showed interest in her was for some diversity of the group. Made sense… especially if you want this world to burn for no reason. It was also a lot more fun to keep your opposition guessing as well. Or… perhaps he just had the hots for her, what did she know? She wouldn’t bother to try and understand the man. Some minds are best left unfigured out.
Alethea finally relaxed a little and took a seat on a crate, she raised on leg and rested her forearm ontop of her knee while she decided to take the opportunity to get herself in that mental mindset that she was probably known for. She needed to be cold, focused, and ruthless. Prey would escape if you let them, and she didn’t plan to let them get away. She had no magic that was going to destroy buildings or powers that were going to cause catastrophe, so she had to settle on using her wit and cunning to take out as many people as she could before she was spotted. For that she needed a hunter mentality. Yes, The Governor was her prey, and at nightfall (if the band of destruction did get to him during the day) he would be in her sights.

Rimet had spent his entire day, and night within his own world. He Kept himself away from the others most of the time, and didn't like to bother them, or be bothered. Rimet had lost track of time. He didn't realize it was morning until a rumble came from his belly. Rimet was hungry, and the only thing his own world didn't have was the same cooking that usually happened in the base's kitchen. So Rimet stood up, and stretched. It was time for him to find something to eat.
So Rimet closed his eyes, and looked into the real world there he found the base, and the Kitchen... It had a-lot of people in it... And not all of them were Eden. Something happened, and now he was curious. Rimet took a deep breath, and as he let the wind out of his lungs he appeared in the middle of the kitchen where no-one was so that he wouldn't accidentally hurt any-one that had been in there by shifting into the real dimension. He began scanning the the group of people looking for some-one familiar.
