Anya gave a sneer to herself as Will told her to wait with Tara. She hadn't noticed the other female UNS member until Will mentioned Tara. The sneer wasn't directed at Tara, it was directed towards Will and his instructions. Giving a loud sigh of exasperation, Anya made her way over towards Tara. Putting a hand to her forehead, Anya gave growl of frustration when she heard Tara ask her if something was wrong. "Is something wrong? Does it look like something's wrong? Of course something's wrong!" Anya replied somewhat sarcastically, which was only because she was frustrated with Will who was now working on getting payment arrangements settled with the hotel staff at the check in desk. "That maniac keeps stalking me! That's what's wrong!" Anya answered bluntly, referring of course to Will.

Tara was quite used to Anya's sarcasm so she wasn't very offended by it. Tara always thought that Anya was a little uptight sometimes. She always seemed angry about something. Then again, Tara supposed that she, herself, would be angry as well if she was being stalked by someone she didn't even like. She stole a glance at Will for a brief second before looking back at Anya. "Okay...why is he even stalking you?" she asked secretly hoping that Anya would not continue to be sarcastic with her, but another side of her not really even caring.

"He says I 'caught his eye' or some nonsense like that." Anya replied, her sarcasm had been replaced with a slight undertone of disgust and distaste. Heck, she didn't even know why she was even bothering to explain this whole thing to Tara. It wasn't that she didn't like her, it was just that Anya's mind was still somewhat scrambled from the whole conversation and subsequent fight with Will that she was starting to just ramble and open up to the first person she saw right now. And that happened to be Tara who seemed to be interested in either helping her or just listening. Either way, Anya didn't care what Tara did at this point, she just hoped that Tara wouldn't take Will's side in this whole thing. "He didn't even explain himself to me! Hell, I don't know what's going through his mind most of the time. And I don't even want to know what goes through that perverted psycho's mind!"

Tara listened closely to what Anya said about Will. Her expression changed from curiosity to complete disgust. She had always thought that Will was rather....strange, but she never thought he would be a stalker. She knew that Anya was telling the truth from expression on her face. Tara had known Anya for awhile now. Anya was not the type to lie about something just to get attention. If she was pissed off about something, it wouldn't be much longer until everyone knew. "I don't think anyone knows what's going through his mind, unless you're telepathic," she said. "I could suggest that you talk to Lucien about it, but I know how you feel about him, not to mention, he probably wouldn't take it too seriously. I think the best thing you could do is try and stay away from him as much as possible. That's all I can tell you," she said with a shrug knowing that she probably wasn't much help.

"You have no idea how many times I have tried that..." Anya replied after hearing Tara's suggestion. She sighed in exasperation and ran a hand back through her hair. "Lucien's an idiot. He'd probably do nothing about my problem just to see me miserable." she added, narrowing her eyes at the mention of Lucien doing anything in the way of 'helping' her. Asking Lucien for any kind of help would be the last thing Anya would ever do. As a matter of fact, she'd probably ask Armand for help before asking Lucien for anything. Which said a lot about her feelings about Lucien as their team leader.

Tara shrugged. She didn't know Lucien well enough to pass judgment on him, so it wasn't her place to really argue with Anya. "If you hate Lucien so much, then why don't you just leave?" she asked. She wasn't saying it in a rude or mocking way. The tone she was using was merely curious. "The last time I checked, we're not really forced to be part of the U.N.S. We're able to leave any time we want. Why stay here if you hate it so much?" Tara only stayed because she had no where else to go. If she had a way out, she would take it, but she had never told anyone that ever since joining.

((my family is going out to dinner soon. but I'll be back when we get home from that.))
Anya frowned slightly. It wasn't because of Tara though. "I can't leave. Even if I wanted to." Anya admitted quietly. Like Tara, Anya hadn't told anyone the reason why she hadn't left the instant Lucien took over Che's role as the team's leader. "The UNS is my home, Tara. I don't have anywhere else to go... Besides, if I leave, that means Lucien can do whatever the hell he wants to in his insanity and possibly end up destroying the only home I know." But besides what she had just said, Anya was telling the truth. She didn't know why, but she was opening up to Tara. Even though the girl was quite a few years younger than her, Anya felt like Tara could actually be one of the few people who actually understood her and why she did what she did most of the time.

Amara looked at Lucien and nodded. "Yes I do agree the team doesn't seem to happy about your leadership" she said. "I could kind of change that..." she said trailing off. When he mentioned Roulin she shook her head. "Yes I am" she said bluntly. "The Phoenix has shown me a lot in the one year I was dead" she told him. "Don't worry I will fight anyone who is against us" she told him.

Tara felt a twinge of silence overwhelm her. Even though she had never spoken to Anya very much, it seemed that the two of them had more in common than she thought. Even if Tara had managed to leave, she had no where else to go. Her own family had been dead a few years before she had joined the U.N.S. This was the only family she knew now, even though their father was a psychotic madman in Anya's words. Tara smiled reassuringly. "I'll tell you what. Why don't we promise each other that we will do anything it takes to make it out together, just the two of us. No Will, No Lucien. How would you like that?"

At that moment, Will arrived on the scene, still holding the lit cigarette between the fingers of one hand, with a perfectly normal smile that held no messages and made him seem completely innocent and “normal.” “Ah, hello, Tara. How are you doing?” he greeted the younger synthetic Owl. He then looked briefly at the German. “Anya, the bill’s been taken care of.” He had heard most of their conversation. Besides, even if he didn’t, it was so painfully obvious that Anya had been complaining about him from her demeanor and attitude. Frankly, he didn’t care if she complained about him. It only helped him, as counter intuitive as it sounded to others. "Cookie?" The Satan Owl offered the two of them soft warm fresh baked cookies that had been available at the reception desk for hotel customers. He had taken two from the basket after leaving the desk.
Just then, one of the TVs nearby suddenly switched from a soccer game to an image of a raven haired woman with some papers in her hand sitting in front of an American seal. She mentioned that the following was a public service announcement from the President.
”And what does the man have to say through another this time?” Will mused. Puppet. ”Well, I suppose we’re lucky none of us including Lucien are the President… since we’re all psychos…” The Satan Owl smiled mischievously, glancing at Anya and then at Tara. "But I guess that is what makes us a team, a family of sorts..."

Kojiro looked up towards them as they spoke, he could not truly grasp what was going on, nor did he ever want to, he noticed that their Ideas were finally coming together, His face was blank to most of them, however there was a lot going through his mind, he had almost been killed in the last fight at the airport, when they thought the were finally going to settle down, their new home had been destroyed Kojiro was almost unable to fight back to save his own allies, He was wondering how this whole endeavor would end, he was not as powerful as the others, and he was even afraid of his own powers, When he was taken in he would follow like a lost puppy, Raven and the others took him in and showed him the truth of humans, and even so he could not bring himself to fight as much as he wanted to. Kojiro's mind began to wander, and then flashes of his past began to run though his mind, as this was happening a small trail of Ice began to creep around his cup, finally the radio turned on and he broke his concentration, and the ice vanished.

Tara's reply caught Anya by surprise. She stared at the girl for a moment or two. Even though she knew most of the people on the UNS, there was rarely anyone she actually considered a friend at this point in her life. And she hadn't thought someone would openly make an offer like this to her. After a moment or two, Anya did something she hardly ever did around people: she gave Tara a small smile. "Sure. I would like that." Anya replied simply. Though, on the inside, Anya was hoping this new friendship wouldn't turn out like Old Berlin had.
Before she could say anything else to Tara, Will approached them as he was finished settling the matter of the hotel bill. And with his arrival, Anya's frown returned. "Whatever. I don't care what you did with the bill." she retorted flatly, crossing her arms over her chest and looking away from Will. When he offered her one of the cookies he'd grabbed at the check in counter though, Anya rolled her eyes. "You can have it." she replied flatly, still not looking at Will.
That was when she heard the announcement over a television in the lobby about the President's public service announcement. Anya looked over at the television, ignoring Will's comments. "Shut up and listen, you idiot." was all she said to Will. She wanted to hear this message from the President, not Will's annoying voice.

Tara opened her mouth to say something less than friendly to Will when the announcement came on over the television that was placed in the lobby. Her attention was distracted. She shook her head at his offer for a cookie. She had a feeling that it had to do with them and the other O.W.L.s. Tara quietly drummed her fingers on the arm of the chair as she waited for the President to begin speaking. She chewed on her bottom lip, not out of nervousness, but out of impatience.

(No more cookouts. I just need to pack for college now.)
"What do I do?" Moli repeated to buy himself a moment. "Well...I work in rehabilitation. I help people get better and I help them get past things." His fork slid through the pasta with no resistance and the aroma from the parting that he'd formed wafted past his nose. "I have to say though, this has been my favorite rehabilitation sessions. Going out to eat with some girl I met at a graveyard. Weird, but pleasing."
"I would like to announce that today, it has been brought to my attention by Comissioner of Defence, Mr. Thomas Moses, that there are separate terrorist groups searching for weapons of mass destruction. Before I continue, I would like all of you watching at home or listening on a radio to remain calm." Thomas approached the president and whispered to him. It was impossible to read the man's lips due to his dark, hazy figure. "These weapons that Mr. Moses has told me about exist here within the borders of our great nation. As of today, the United States Government and the U.N.S are going to join our expansive forces to seal off where we think these weapons may be." Thomas smiled, and his teeth glinted in the light before the stage. "Thank you Thomas Moses and thank you America. May God carry us through this danger unharmed so that we can see a new day devoid of threats such as these. Thank you and good evening."
Moli only glanced at the screen before taking a bite of his perfectly prepared dish. The noodle twirled and twirled before falling into the black hole that was the overworked revolutionary's stomach.

" Good I need someone i can trust by my side. As well your calmness will hopefully drown out Anya's personality, I swear if we had argued a moment longer I would have torn her apart with my powers and watched her squirm. " He shook his head again and looked towards Amara. " But enough of this strange talk, I think it's time we got things going, there's only so much time we have. " he stood up from his chair and ran his fingers through his black hair. " I just hope Will hasn't driven anyone mad yet, that would just be another burden on my shoulders. "
