Sensing how uncomfortable Jacoby was, Ezra made a face that might've been him thinking - or struggling not to sneeze - then held up a finger in a way of casually saying, 'One moment'. He looked to the nearest store, a Footlocker, and hurried over to it. Inside the store of shoes he wasn't too fond of, the child ran over to behind the counter. One of the clerks tried to stop him, but as soon as they reached the counter they found not a boy, but a small fox looking at the clerk with wide, starry eyes. Powerless to such charm, the clerk dumbly watched the fox run out of the store and scratch at Jacoby's legs.
