Of Mavericks and Hunters. -OPEN AND ACCEPTING-

[Zahzi]

"Hey. Here's an idea..." Dozer growled.
"GET THE ******** KNIFE OUT OF MY BACK!!"  

[cptflint]

"I don't know man..." he said as he reached for the knife. "If you attack again I'm putting it back in," Steam warned before yanking the knife out.  

[Zahzi]

Dozer gave a pained yelp after the knife was pulled out.
"Couldn't pay me enough to fight that a*****e.." Dozer grunted after getting back up.

"Let's just go.." he told Steam, storming out.  

[Randomly Gone Insane]

"I'll see you guys back at base, okay?" Edge sighed, though she did her best to give a reassuring smile.

"I'll be fine here."  

[cptflint]

"Alright then..." Steam replied tossing the knife aside then turning to leave. "As much as I don't like it," he grumbled as he made his way out of the factory.  

[Randomly Gone Insane]

Once the others had left, Edge let out a sigh of relief. She went to pick up Tango's knife, giving it a ood shake to throw off any fluids from Dozer or trash it may have picked up on the floor.

"So, why won't you come back with us?" She asked aloud as she went back to the other room.  

[Zahzi]

"Because I've lived that life before." Tango replied simply.
"I've lived the life of a soldier for far too long."  

[Randomly Gone Insane]

"Care to share on that?" Edge asked as she was genuinely curious. If she couldn't get him to join today, then perhaps she could at least take back information. That was always useful in the databases.  

[Zahzi]

"No." Tango told her.
"That is a chapter best left unsaid."  

[Randomly Gone Insane]

"As you wish." Edge sighed, deciding not to press matters. Trust was something to be gained, and being an annoyance didn't help.

"This still doesn't fully explain WHY you're so Hell bent on not joining the Hunters. Especially when it can save your life."

After Dozer and Steam left the factory and it's sector, something began following them...  

[Zahzi]

"A life that has no reason worth saving..."

Dozer gave a growl, his radar picking up the follower.
"Show yourself!"  

[Randomly Gone Insane]

"I don't understand... What are you talking about?"

No response came, and the follower stopped as soon as Dozer had.  

[Zahzi]

"Some lives aren't worth saving."

"I TOLD YOU TO COME OUT!"

Steam had already dissapeared, staying close enough to dozer do provide support.

"And who are you to judge what your life is worth?"

No response came. Dozer's shouts were only met with silence...
