Rahvine nodded. "Yeah, at the academy Zero was known for two things. Being frightening and his lack of humor." Rahvine paused then grinned. "It wasn't exactly a true impression but you had to really know him to get his sense of humor."

"Well, Zero orignally had another partner, a girl named Yuki, but it turned out that she was a vampire and long story short she left the school to be with her fiancee." Rahvine paused for a moment before continuing. "Anyway Headmaster Cross figured out that I knew the secret of the vampires existance and asked me to take Yuki's place as the other school guardian. So Zero started training me and I eventually found out that he was a vampire too." Rahvine shrugged. "After that it just made sense for us to stay partners since I knew about him and didn't have a problem with letting him drink my blood."

Rahvine nodded. "Former human vampires end up that way a lot of times. But yeah, I think vampires probably are more creepy."
