Akila_Ishtar Blue eyes shifted back and forth for a moment. He lowered his voice and got closer to Zuko's ear, to whisper, "...Truth is... in a past life.. I may have been. " ((... >>; Me too. Luckily, the lady who corrected my paper said it's almost perfect. Thank the Gods, I feel like being a lazy a** tonight.))

Zuko pulled away from Sokka to face him, raising an eyebrow and crossing his arms, "Really." he said in an annoyed tone, "Well, you must be so proud." sarcasm dripped from his voice.

"I know! Isn't it great? " He grinned proudly. Although, his face fell the moment he blinked back at the prince.... who looked unhappy as usual. "So, what are you doing out here? Shouldn't you been in your fancy pants inn?"

"That place? Fancy?" Zuko scoffed, "I'd much rather take a walk." he made a move to shove past Sokka and continue on his way, but then suddenly flinched when he heard an all-too-familiar voice:
"Prince Zuko, you're still here? Well, isn't this a pleasant surprise?" Commander Zhao approached the two teenagers, "And I see you are still carrying your... company from earlier." he looked over Sokka as if he was some worthless animal.

Sokka's smile faltered. ".... It's fancy compared to a tree trunk..." He muttered.
Sokka twitched at the sound of the voice. "Oh great... first a hot headed prince and now a monkey.... greeeat morning we're having."

Zuko turned around to face the oncoming Zhao, ignoring Sokka's comment, "What do you want Zhao?" he asked in an annoyed tone.
"Commander Zhao." Zhao corrected with a smirk, approaching Zuko and leaning down to his height, "You are far too disrespectful for your upbringing, Prince Zuko. It shows."

Zhao turned to Sokka, looking him over with a glint in his eye, as if considering how worth it it would be to give him a nice scar to match Zuko's. "What's your name boy?" he asked with a frown, ignoring the smirk that Zuko was now aiming at him.

"Uh.. heh... you don't need to give me that kind of look, it was a JOKE. Get it? Ha hah.." Sokka laughed nervously, taking a step back. "Funny?"
Not good...
"Erm... my name is Sokka..." His voice squeaked and he inched towards Zuko to grab hold of his arm and hide partially behind him.

Zhao stared at Sokka and Zuko for a long, hard moment, then suddenly burst out laughing. A loud, obnoxious laugh, "Sokka, eh?" he finally asked after his laughter had ceased, "You're a funny kid. Can't see why Prince Zuko would want you around though." he looked at the two again, "Not his type. Actually, I didn't think people in general were his type..."
Zuko frowned, glaring down at Sokka, then yanking his arm away from him, "Sokka is a prisoner." he replied blandly, "Who has no need be be locked away because he follows me like a lost puppy anyway."
