Flanys, City in the Snow

[Cecily D Aria]

Lucinda laughed a little uneasily. "I suppose I am fluster," she said, rubbing the back of her head.  

[Ean_arico]

"I'm sorry. I didn't mean to scare you." Renatus said sincerely. "I only wanted to do the right thing." Renatus looked down at his chest. Upon inspection, he noticed a cut in his clothes, and blood began to leek slowly from it. "Oh, hello... I suppose I'm not well." He put his hand to the wound, and cringed a little from pain.  

[Cecily D Aria]

"Oh? Do you need a healer?" Lucinda asked, concern showing again.

((I'm going to bed))  

[Ean_arico]

"No... My scales should grow over the wound quickly." He looked up at Lucida inquisitively. "Why do you care?"

[Cecily D Aria]

"I don't like seeing people hurt," Lucinda replied, as if that should have been obvious.  

[Ean_arico]

"I'm not a person..." Renatus said somberly, turning away. He began towards the stairs. "I'm sorry," he said back to Lucinda "i've been wasting your time. I'll just let you alone."  

[Cecily D Aria]

"No, no, you haven't," Lucinda assured him, walking after him. "I'm sorry if I made it seem that way. I enjoy your company."

Renatus looked back at Lucinda with with a surprised look. He cocked his head slightly. "R-Really?" he said in shock.  

[Cecily D Aria]

"Yes," Lucinda said, looking a little confused herself. "You seem like a nice person."  

[Ean_arico]

"..." Renatus was speechless. No single person in his life had ever had any concern for him other than his home tribe. A tear welled in his eye, which he quickly wiped away. "B- but I'm a monster..." he said realizing his self-taught reality.  

[Cecily D Aria]

"Why do you say that?" Lucinda asked, her eye brows coming together.  

[Ean_arico]

"Didn't you see me?" Renatus said in disbelief. "I shot fire from my tongue, and had claws and horns! Last i checked, that constituted a monster..." Renatus stopped, and looked down. "I'm sorry, I know about my depressive tendencies. I just can't do anything about them." He walked over to the fireplace and sat back down next to Lucinda.  

[Cecily D Aria]

"You were just defending someone innocent..." Lucinda murmured.  

[Ean_arico]

"..." Renatus silently consoled himself. "Yes... Yes your right. I shouldn't be so hard on myself..." He looked back down. He thought of the day's events then remembered, "I'm sorry, we've only talked of me so far! But what of you? What's your story?"

Lucinda shrugged. "I don't really have much of a story," she said. "I left home two years ago and I've been wondering ever since."
