[Tuesday's fine with me! Um, but Vamp does seem to be posting rather slowly. xP]

Kana looked back at him as he began to speak, ears perked to attention as she listened. Her eyes widened very slightly, but she tried to shrug it off. Her first feelings were of nervousness, but then she reminded herself Kazan would be there. She wasn't sure what to think about his mother being there a lot, though she assured herself she could handle if she tried. It might be nice, she thought, to meet someone else's parents for a change. She looked up at Koichi, smiling again. "It's fine," she nodded, dying to ask what they were going to be doing, but not letting herself pry.

Koichi smled a thanks at her. "We appreciate it, Kitty," he said softly. After a few moments, he glanced at the wall opposite them. "So... now what?" he asked her; he wasn't quite sure what to do now. Should they play a game, watch tv, or something? He knew although his mom would love Kana, both her and Kaze would be angry at him since it wasn't Skylar he'd brought back. They're going to kill me for losing her, he couldn't help but think, still staring at the wall.

Kana nodded, looking up at him. Then she began shifting restlessly in the chair, turning herself around until she finally stopped. She had her legs over one arm of the chair, and her head resting upon the other. She looked up at Koichi upside down like this, grinning childishly as her curled around and flicked against her stomach. "What now, what now?" she repeated, glancing around again. Then a sudden scent hit her and she raised her head very slightly to look in that direction. "Ah, do you want a slushie?" she asked, smiling broadly.

[heheh. good move on making up a decission; if you hadn't, he'd have kissed her again xD]

Koichi arched an eyebrow. "Wha-? Oh... sure?" he questioned, not even sure what she was talking about. He knew what a slushie was, but he didn't quite know why she was asking if he wanted one; was he that blind he couldn't see the machine? Surely not... but apparently yes, he was. He was too caught up in thought about France to look for such things as a slushie machine. He's going to be there, I know it. And that is the bad thing, he thought, keeping on the one subject of someone being there.

Kana blinked at him, still watching him upside down. Then she suddenly rolled over and off of the couch, though she held true to the saying about cats, and landed on her feet, but crouched. She winced as she hit, and quickly bowed her head so he hopefully wouldn't see. She thought he might look a little distracted, but wasn't sure. She slowly straightened, placing a hand on her side and removing it as soon as she was standing. "Yes, it's over this way!" she said, pointing further into the building, towards a jungle themed area. She grinned and reached out for his hand before turning and starting to lead him there.

"Huh?" Koichi said softly, looking up as he felt her hand on his. "O-oh, right," he said, pretending he knew what was going on. He followed her, a little confused still at what was going on. He was, in fact, a little out of it, but he didn't feel she had to know that. All the same, he watched as they reached the area with the smoothies and looked around in search of the machine; he dind't quite see it, though.

"Smoothie stand!" Kana exclaimed suddenly, pointing towards it. She'd watched him looking around out of the corner of her eye, and was a bit confused as to why he was suddenly acting so... distracted. But she turned and smiled at him, before leading him closer to it. "What flavor do you want?" she asked, her own eyes now scanning quickly across the list. Her tail was flicking behind her happily as she picked out one she wanted.

"StrawberryBannanna[that's spelled wrong o.O]" he said, reaching over and poking a button before sticking his tongue out at her. "Beat you to it," he said simply. "What... are you getting?" he asked in curiousity, looking at all the choices. There weren't that many, but he was still curious as to what she liked. I have to get everything set up... he thought to himself, contemplating how to do everything.

Kana blinked, seeing him suddenly reach out and select his. "Hey!" she cried, wrinkling her nose at him. But at his question, she laughed and then grinned. "Orange," she said simply, then reached out and poked that button too. It was a wonder her teeth weren't stained that color from all the Sunkist and other orange drinks she always had. She stood back, rocking lightly as she shifted her weight from foot to foot as she waited, staring at the machine, hands clasped before her.

"I should have none," Koichi sighed, putting his arm around her. "You're one predictable little girl, you know that?" he asked, having lowered himself so he was eye level with her; only reason his arm was around hr was for balancing purposes. He grinned then started laughing as he let her go, putting his hands behind his head again, watching the machine. His had just finished, and he was waiting for Kana's to be done before reaching out; he didn't want to knock any of them over.

Kana grinned at him, tilting her head. "Well, I can't help that either," she shrugged, laughing as well. She stared back at him, still smiling. It felt odd to be at eye level at him, after he was always so much taller, and she was biting her tongue to keep from bursting into laughter for no reason again. But then she blinked, a sudden thought hitting her. "I'm not little!" she cried, though it was obvious from the look on her face that she was teasing. "I'm turning seventeen soon!" She had started to hold up her fingers to show him, but recalled at the last second she didn't have that many to hold up. So she quickly crossed her bandaged arms, trying to make it seem that had been her original intention. Though, her face turned faintly red as she stared fixedly at the smoothies.

"Seventeen? I never would have guessed," Koichi teased back, reaching out and grabbing her slushie before handing it to her. He grabbed two straws- one for him and one for her- handing her one of them before going back and getting his slushie. He dropped the straw in it before smiling down at her. "Two years younger than Kaze and I. Not bad, Kitty," he smirked, taking a sip of his slushie as he started off, towards a room farther back; he didn't even know if there was a room there, but he felt like exploring.

Kana accepted her slushie with a thanks and then the straw as well. She stuck it in and took a small sip, as if to test if it was ok or not. She blinked at him as he mentioned his and Kaze's ages and then shook her head, a rather sly grin coming to her face. "I'm not little," she said simply. "You're just old!" Still grinning, she practically bounced after him, cupping her hand around the top of her slushie since she knew it'd slosh out, and she didn't want to make a mess. Every now and then, she'd withdraw her hand to lick the substance off before setting it back in place.

Koichi stopped; they'd stumbled on the study area. "Might as well stay here," he said, noting the quiet and abandoned area. "No one will bother us at all... and I know you hate crowds," he added. He arched an eyebrow, though, hearing her comment. "We're old? You're two years younger; that makes you old too," he shot back, grinning. He took another sip of his slushie as he plopped down in a chair, placing it on the table in front of him.

Kana trailed afer him, glancing around and nodding at the crowds comment. She definitely knew that was true, as she'd shown while they were at the mall's food court. But she shook her head as he continued on about ages. "No it doesn't," she protested. "Your entire life can change in minutes, so two years is a long time!" But she fell silent after that, busying herself with checking out their new surroundings. She blinked as she saw a large, poofy cushion on the ground, and sprang without hesitation towards it, sinking rather deep inside once she'd sat. She grinned broadly, looking almost as if she were stuck, she was so far in. But she still managed to shift herself so the straw of her drink could easily reach her mouth.
