aside from the dripping there was no other noise, though Faleen continued down cautiously, looking around as she reached the bottom.

Tama looked to the bird when it imitated the laugh and shuddered.

He soon followed after Faleen down the last stairs they found. As he got further down the stairs he let out an 'Oh fu-' when he almost slipped on the steps.

Oh, what the frelling frak?! That bird... That bird was adorable but did it -have- to play perfect Hallowe'en soundtracks at inconvenient times?

"... Like a pleasant song, or something." Tambrey agreed with Hayes, voicing her opinion, before moving to join the group in further descent.

Aulus startled at the burst of mad laughter. "What was that in aid of?" he asked as his heart once again tried to jump out of his chest. "Nevermind," he soon added, "we need to keep going." Maybe if they ran up against something needing voice commands the bird would come in handy.

Shaking his head Aulus headed for the stairs down, pretending not to notice that Paul had shot down the back of his shirt.

Char replied, and then there was the laughter... Well presumably any enemies who were here already knew of their presence with all of the noise they'd made upstairs so he supposed it mattered little. he added to Potato.

"We'll work on it," Aulus muttered to his former partner.

He soon arrived at the bottom of the stairs with Tortie beside him and promptly nearly fell on his arse, having to grab onto the wall for balance. "Okaaaay." That had been graceful. "Everyone mind your step."

Potato looked very proud of himself that he had been so scary, and chirped happily on Char's shoulder.

There was water leaking somewhere. Lex flex his boots in thought as they traveled down the stairs. Would there be ice? The ship had been rather icy. And there went Aulus. Yeah, there was Ice.

Lex carefully stepped down, hand against the wall to keep his balance as he sought to find his feet.

Glit was not quite so lucky, Ice and smooth coils did not mix and the Serperior gave a displeased cry as she slid across the ice. No, no, no. She hated the cold and the ice.

Well everyone saw it coming Kailee set booted foot on that black ice and she slipped... and slid... and fell right onto her hands and knees with a screech. That was humiliating. But obviously not enough because she pushed herself to get up. And she did for about two seconds before she landed once more, this time on her rear. Covered in insulation and now she was damp from the ice. Ok... one more time. She stood herself up... father into the room then the others from her slide and she took a step to walk back to them. Nope.. She landed back on the ground. Now she was so embarrassed she was laughing. She sat up and stayed there. "Mind your step... there is ice." Her face was bright red as she waited for others to find their footing so they wouldnt be staring at her.

"Or maybe-- whoops." Whatever Hayes had been about to suggest was lost as Aulus went down in front of him. Hayes grabbed at the railing and extended his other hand to the agent from the bottom step. "Alright?"

Lex kept where he was, since if he didn't move from his spot where his boots caught traction, it met he wasn't going to end up like a number of his fellows. Flatline gave cheeful little beeping noises, and Howlback.. he could hear her laughing.

Howlback kept on the last step, shaking from head to feet as she laughed at Glit's misfortune. She teased and snickered as she got a string of rather rude words in reply.

Tiamat blinked as she saw all the trainers slipping. Her claws gave her traction, so she was lost. It wasn't until she heard the word 'ice' that she understood. Flapping her wings, she flew down and carefully used her fire breath to start melting the ice, being wary of the grass Pokemon sliding about.

Oop... Ice.
People were slipping... pokémon were sliding about... Kailee was... sitting in it...

Tambrey looked down and tentatively took a step; this wasn't fun, but at least, initially, she was keeping herself upright... Her hand snaked out, seeking if there was a nearby wall to rest her palm on, her other hand manning her flashlight.

Getting his feet back under him properly with the help of Alex's hand Aulus tested his scarred leg; it didn't bother him often these days and, luckily, the slide hadn't set it off. "Fine," he confirmed with a nod.

Stepping cautiously away from the wall Aulus raised his flashlight and shone it around for a better look at their surroundings.

As the first arrivals drew open the door to pass into the next area, an amount of water would slosh forward against their boots. The group would immediately find themselves splashing water with every step, the floor flooded and submerged under an inch of water in the highest spots and several inches in other spots due to the uneven angle of the airship. The room they found themselves in actually had some amount of power, and therefore a small amount of heat that just barely prevented most of the water from freezing, though the shallower sections looked icy. Flickering lights above dimly illuminated what appeared to be the sprawling technology department. While there were a number of computers around, the even more numerous empty spaces indicated that the majority of the computers had long since been removed from the room. The room was primarily populated by large, heavy manufacturing equipment such as a hydroforming press, commercial grade 3D printers, EDM machines, and other similar tools.

Several computers did appear to have all of the necessary exterior components necessary to operate on tables and above the water, though most of the towers connected to the other monitors sat on the flooded floor, and a few had even toppled over onto their sides. Despite the large area, the flooded floor, and the few remaining computers, nothing else of note remained in the lab in the lab itself.

Nearby was another darkened stairwell, this one leading down, while across from the stairs back up to the previous floor, and near the highest point of the whole room, stood a door labeled CONTROL ROOM that had several tables shoved up against it, some on their sides, to form a sort of barricade. A large piece of hard plastic, possibly part of a computer tower case, had been duct-taped over a panel beside the door.

Glit gave an displeased hiss as fire suddenly started making an appearance, twisting to get away and ended up wrapping herself around an object to keep from gliding.

"Where do you think we are?" Lex asked, shining his flash light around trying to figure out where Glit had slid off to.

Kailee jumped a bit at the fire but, although now she was more then just damp. She saw the grass snake and slowly moved toward it. "Its ok... Lets get you back to Lex... Thanks to that charizard we can move." She smiled offering the kind words to the pokemon. She was closest to the Control room and she clicked on her flashlight to see better. "Uh... Hey guys... We got a control room over here... Though it looks barricaded. Also Lex...Glits over here too~" She let her emboar out. "Lets move the tables..." Brimstone nodded walking through the water to start pulling at the tables to move them aside.
