Newfoundland was its own country until Canada bought us out. It was either them or the US or Britain. We are that much indifferent to the rest of Canada that we still have our own timezone.

I don't think all of Canada is in one time zone. At least that doesn't make much sense to me. I mean the US had like 4 or 5 time zones, and width wise the two countries are pretty comparable.

She's saying that Newfoundland has it's own Timezone. Not that all of Canada has its Own. Pay attention when people are Talking.

That's not what I meant... -_-
We have our own timezone called 'Newfoundland Standard Time' which is an hour and a half ahead of EST. The other provinces share their timezones with the US and other countries, since Canada has an EST, CST, et cetera that are exactly the same as yours. Technically we should be in Atlantic Standard Time but we're not.
