I watched the unaired pilot episode of Sherlock last night. whee Can't wait for the new season/episodes that will be released in the summer.

I know it's 6 months early, but I've already started thinking about a theme for my birthday party.

I know originally I said I would do Pirates theme this year and Star Trek for the next year. But now I don't know... at this time I'm not really feeling the whole Pirates theme. Though that might change when the movie comes out and I see it. *shrugs*

Anyway... so far, I've gotten two and half theme ideas. I say half, because the third idea I could potentially connect with another theme. *shrugs* It's still fairly early, so there's still plenty of time to plan and change ideas.

And originally I thought that I would be able to focus my theme on a movie that was coming out close to my birthday. But the thing is... the ones that I would consider using as themes don't release until the month before or month after my birth month. *sighs*

*looks at the latest blogs on Green Wedding Shoes* I love seeing pictures of a wedding that took place in a location that I'm familiar with, because it's near where I live. xd

Good morning-almost-afternoon everyone.

Yesterday after lunch I decided to hang out with my parents, since with my school schedule I won't be able to hang out with them as much, due to me having night classes. So, all three of us made cookies. Mom and I watched a couple episodes of Ellen after that. Dad and I watched an episode of Mythbusters - Demolition Derby Special Part 1. 3nodding It was pretty cool seeing them try to tilt the bus over while going around the corner. Had dinner and watched a movie called Leaves On Grass. It was fairly good movie. After that, we watched Men of a Certain Age. 3nodding

Originally Mom had planned on going to my Grandma's church and we would visit my Grandma today.

Obviously we are not doing the church aspect of things, since the church service would be getting over by now, if I remember the times of their service right. Not sure if we'll still be going to visit my Grandma though... *shrugs*

We've got another dusting of snow on the ground this morning. We had a snow dusting yesterday, but melted away pretty much by early afternoon. I think today it's still snowing a bit, the last I checked. *shrugs*

I started reading Sir Arthur Conan Doyle: Memories and Adventures last night ((Doyle's autobiography)). It's cool getting to hear what his thoughts are about things, especially with his education and people he's encountered (especially other famous writers I'm familiar with).

One of the things he was talking about was how he was taught certain subjects that in the end didn't apply to him. *sighs as she tries to find it again* Darn... I can't remember where that part was. I was going to post what he said here. *shrugs* Oh well.

Anyway, it's really a great read, especially considering it's an autobiography. Usually that sort of thing bores me. Though I suppose it makes a difference when you're being forced to read one about someone you don't really have a real interest in... and reading about one you really want to know more about.

Well, I better go take a shower. That way I'm dressed and ready before lunch is done ((which I'm guessing will be pizza by the sound of noises coming from the kitchen, lol)). xd

I'm back. And it's still snowing. Big snowflakes are slowly falling right now. 3nodding

*looks at the news station website* Looks like the snow level is at 500 feet right now.
