Dad's still up. Doing much better than he did yesterday. Almost coming up to being awake for about an hour; that's a half hour more than he was getting to yesterday.

I went back through the bookmarked books I had, and looked up the information about the authors I had come across. As a result, I ended up cutting the collection in half, either due to being in the wrong era (or the author writing in two different eras) or due to living situations it "disqualified" them. xd So now I have six books left which I'll have to start looking at.

I'll have to look at the assignment description for the essay again so I have a clearer idea of what I would potentially be writing about, if one of these six books I decide to go with. Plus if I feel like taking notes while I'm reading, I'll be ahead of schedule of working on the essay, lol. sweatdrop

It might seem odd that I'm starting the final assignments first, but with a lot of these final papers, we need to reference to the texts we've read in class. So, if I get going with getting familiar with a new text I'll be using for the final paper now, I'll know what to watch for to connect with in the class texts. 3nodding

Going to take a few notes regarding the book titles, authors and where they originate and dates and all that wonderful stuff - just the basics. Then going to finish the reading for my Suspense Thriller class.

My first week of Spring term is over. I'm enjoying my classes so far.

It's official - "Boston" Rob & Russell are back!

*cracks up laughing* Russell's back for a third season ((Survivor: Redemption)). Let's see if he wins this time, since he seems to be so insistent that he wants to win, lol.

I potentially will have a job. biggrin Because of the recent separation between my Aunt and her boyfriend, and her working on the weekends, she is needing someone to watch her grandkids ((she gained legal custody of them a week or so ago)). So... if things work out and I'm confirmed then I will potentially will have a babysitting-like job of watching the grandkids. And I'll be paid for it... by the State. *shrugs* It'll be interesting to see what all happens. But hey! I might have a job!

It would be so nice if things do work through. And the kids I'll be watching are fairly good enough, so I think I would be able to handle watching them. *shrugs* At least I'm starting off with kids I already know, and not some stranger's kids. 3nodding

Either way... a job that pays would be fabulous to have. 3nodding

*gets a call back from her Aunt* So excited! biggrin I will potentially be starting my job this Sunday. Just have to discuss with my parents later about what wage we think would be suitable ((apparently part of the wage chosen will be paid by the State or whatever)).

Still feeling a bit lost with it all happening so fast, and not really knowing what all I'll be doing for both setting things up to take on the position and for the actual job itself. But I'm excited that I will officially be able to add a new job to my resume when I do start.
