"Sacred Jewel Shards." Kagome still wasn't looking at L. "They can be used for evil or for good." She kept the pink jewel in her fist that was slowly going white knuckled.
"No way in hell." InuYasha turned from Akumu and sat crosslegged on the floor. If his hands weren't cuffed behind his back, he would have crossed them.

L was still unsure of Kagome "Sacred jewel shards?...Good and evil usage?...Ma'am, i'm sorry to ask such a personal question but are you on anyt drugs or have you had anything to drink?" he said assuming Kagome was intoxicated.
The guard stood up "Ugh...Alright follow me...I'll take you too him."
Akumu jiggled the keys outside the jail door and said "Well then...When you're taking a shower with the other criminals, all I have to say is...Don't drop the soap. Ahahahahaha!!" Akumu started to walk off. ((I never got the chance to use a don't drop the soap joke, lol xd ))

Kagome shook her head violently. She finally looked L in the eye with an angry glare in her own. "I AM NOT INTOXICATED!!!" She yelled at him, tired of having her sanity questioned. "YOU WANT PROOF?! HOW'S THIS FOR PROOF?!" She created a barrier around herself that glowed pink. She made sure L could not get through it.
"Damn you Akumu!" InuYasha yelled after the laughing demon. "I swear when I get out of here, you are DEAD! Do you hear me?! DEAD!!"
((I'm not helping InuYasha at all xd ))

"Thank you," Shirou said worriedly. He heard shouting from the direction of the cells and interrogation rooms. I wonder if everything will be okay? I hope I don't have to reveal myself.

L fell on his butt and looked at the barrier shocked. "I-impossible!" was the only thing he could say. He had never seen enything like that in his life.
Akumu walked pass the guard who was taking Shirou to the cell to see the criminal ((Inuyasha)) and the guardseemed to fall over dead. Akumu had a smile on his face which was enough to prove he was the one who did it.

Kagome let the barrier fade away. "Now do you believe me?" She asked, still clearly pissed. "InuYasha doesn't belong in this time. We've got friends waiting for us and they will probably be getting worried if InuYasha, at least, doesn't go back."
"Feh." InuYasha moved back to the corner where he spent a lot of his time sulking. 'Should have known that he would run like a coward.' InuYasha shifted uncomfortably at the next thought. 'What could be taking Kagome so long?' He shook his head to clear himself of thoughts like that.
((DID Akumu actually kill the man? Just wondering.))

Shirou stood shocked for a moment, before turning an angry glare at Akumu. "You! Why did you kill him?!" he demanded in a loud voice. His hands twitched in anticipation. He was ready to reveal himself if the man made a move. His father's words rang through his head: Listen, Shirou. Sorcery is something that will bring conflict, so you must not use it in front of people.

L was still shocked but nodded once showing he understood. He got back up and crouched in his sofa again "As much as I beleive you...InuYasha as you call him, cannot be released. After all he cold heartedly killed 7 police officers...And how do you think their families would feel knowing that a man like that is on the loose?"
Akumu turned to Shirou and gave him a happy smile but what he said wasn't a message of peace "Stay back or I'll splatter you acrost the walls, ok?" then he kept walking and went out the doors. ((And yeah chibi, Akumu actually used an attack that turns human's organs into liquid...Yeah this dudes pretty badass, huh? twisted ))

((UGGH! BLECH! A SIMPLE "YES" OR "NO" WOULD HAVE BEEN FINE!! UGH! I'm gonna have nightmares for a week. BLEH.))
InuYasha flinched. He hated remembering what he did while he was a demon. "It was an accident." was all he muttered.
Kagome took a step back. "No." She shook her head in disbelief. "No! Being in a cage would kill him!" She ran out the door sending a burst of spirtual energy at L so he couldn't follow her easily. She ran straight for the jail. She didn't care who got in her way, she put up her barrier and knocked them aside. "INUYASHA! ANSWER ME YOU BAKA!"

L flew back against the wall and stood up. He ran over to a intercomm that lead to Watarei's office "Watarei, the girl has assaulted me and has run out using some sort of Barrier!" Watarei answered with "A Barrier?" L stopped Watarei before he could say anything else "Watarei I cannot discuss this now! Send the guards for her! Lock down the building! Make sure she cannot get out!" Watarei replied with "Yes, Ryuuzaki." and the doors automaticlly locked, the bullet proof windows closed up and every exit was sealed shut.

Kagome was on the verge of tears after finding nothing. "INUYASHA ANSWER ME RIGHT NOW OR I'LL- I'LL . . . I'LL SAY THAT WORD!!" She threatened.
InuYasha's ears twitched. "Kagome?" Then he heard what she said about sitting, even if she didn't exactly say it, and winced. Standing as quickly as he could with his hands cuffed, he yelled, "DON'T SAY IT KAGOME! I'M FINE!" but he highly doubted she could hear him.
Sure enough Kagome couldn't hear anything. "YOU STUPID HALF-DEMON!" She shouted. "SIT!!!" She then heard a loud thud come from her left. She turned the corner sharply and headed towards the thud.
The word "sit" echoed vaguely through the halls but InuYasha went down. A loud thud echoed back as InuYasha got slammed into the floor. "Damn wench." He said with his face in the ground.

Some of the guards caught Kagome from behind the barrier and held her back. Suddenly the guards dropped her and a sloshing noise echoed from their insides. They fell over and Akumu was behind them. ((Yes he did do the guts to liquid thing)) he had an evil smile spread on his face "Don't say I never helped you out, human." ((Also remember Akumu doesn't hold himself to any side so he's going to do nice things now and then and evil things...Mostly evil. I love playing the bad guy.))
