"Maybe back in the inn?" The only reason why Shiki said that was because he thought it would be weird to see a little girl eating a raw fish in public.

"Okay, if you want that," Sandra replied. She would have rather been outside, but if that was what Shiki wanted, she wouldn't complain.

"You don't think Len would look strange eating a raw fish outside?" Shiki questioned with a raised brow. The fish wasn't even gutted.

"Well, I was thinking that we could go towards the edges of town where there were less people, but if you would feel beter insdie, that's fine too," Sandra replied with a shrug.

"No that's good. Maybe there's a bench we can sit down on," Shiki said.

Sandra nodded and lead the way towards the forest. There was a small, uncorowded park near the edges of the town, so Sandra made her way towards it, stopping by of the benches. "Is this good?" she asked.

"It's good," Shiki nodded.
Len didn't care, as long as she could eat her fish.

Sandra sat down on the bench and held Shiki's soup out for him. She was hungry and she wanted to start eating soon.

Shiki accepted the bowl, "Thank you," He said. This stuff looked just as bad as the other one he had, but he knew this shouldn't taste as bad as it looked. He placed the bowl on his lap and clapped his hands twice, "Itadakimasu," He said. He had completely forgotten this etiquette since he came here.
Len sat down on the ground and lifted her fish to her mouth.

"What was that?" Sandra asked, referring to what he had just done. She began to eat her soup.

"It's basically a blessing," Shiki said, "Thanking the deities for our meal. I'm certain there's something like that somewhere on this planet."  

[Cecily D Aria]

"Yes, there are a lot of people who do something like that," Sandra replied. She continued to eat her soup.

"Will all that's been happening since I came to this planet, I completely forgotten to say it," Shiki admitted as he ate. He was right, this wasn't as bad tasting as it looked.

Sandra nodded as she continued to eat. her father had never taught them anything like that, not believing in any religion himself. Of course, she knew about many on Verspya, most then most people, she just didn't believe in any of them.
