To see her new home. What kind of idiot would say no to such a query. Zeroth stood up and he nodded his head, moving over to the exit of the bar, so that the both of them could be taken to the house. He wasn't happy with what had happened. He was gone for 3 years, looking and searching for her and the moment that he found her, she already was happy and in a house, and engaged. life was fine for her apparently, while he threw his away just ot see how his friend was doing. Irony, it was funny. He ran his hand through his hair and waited. "Might as well show me now while I am here."

She watched him thoughtfully, but was silent for a little longer. When he finally spoke she nodded and glanced at her guards. They nodded in return and started moving ahead, passing up her friend. By the time she reached Zeroth's side, a bright smile was on her face and she couldn't wait to show her their home.

It took less time than the last visit to reach the Marketplace, seeing as she was using her newly discovered talent for travel. Shadow dance, slipping from one shadow to another, seemed a perfect way to reach her destination in a matter of minutes, rather than hours. Aeris reached the Marketplace, only to have her suspicions confirmed. The soldier they had taken was a higher up, the amount of soldiers currently roaming the market alarming. They were obviously searching for him and the person he had left with. So the blacksmith's apprentice was quite out, at least until she arrived back at the Clan lands. And a person from exactly in the market was out as well.

She sighed, perched on the top of a building. No one had seen her yet, at least from what she could tell. She was figuring out where to go. In town was out... but the outskirts of town were not. There was one place she had heard of, seeing as the soldiers below her were currently speaking about it. A brothel? They still had things like that around? The elf frowned a bit, shaking her head. Going into a brothel was not her forte. Especially since she was a woman, after all. An idea dawned on her. She snapped her fingers, giggling at the idea. She didn't have to go inside. There were always a few people who lingered outside and in the ally nearby.

Aeris dropped off the building, diving through the dark below her. Now for a simple disguise. In a blink of an eye, she was a pale skinned human, her gold and violet swirled eyes now a startling sky blue. Her emerald hair was a black, almost violet color. She was also much shorter, 6 inches shorter than her normal 6'1". Her clothing was a black yukata, gold and red flowers along the hem and down along her spine. She smiled, walking out and towards the brothel.

Amazingly enough, her luck seemed to bring her a host, long before she could see him. Before she could step out of the ally, she was pulled back by a pair of rough hands, one covering her mouth before she could say a word. "Speak and I kill you where you stand." She nodded, inwardly smiling. At least this one wouldn't get her in trouble at the Clans. A thief was a thief, and he had threatened to kill her. It was in within her right to do what was about to happen.

He removed his hand from her mouth. "Now...your money. Hand me your purse." She did as he said, handing him the small black pouch she had in her hands. One arm kept her from moving away from him, though the hand helped open the pouch. "What th-?" He coughed heavily, letting her go. He waved frantically to rid himself of the dust from the pouch, but the second he opened it, it was too late for him. The dust was a lovely concoction, a neurotoxin that robbed the unfortunate humanoid that breathed it in of their will.

The dark elf giggled a bit, tugging on his ear. "Follow." He nodded, following her out of the ally. She had changed his dirty clothing, into that of a bought servant. He followed her away from the market, back towards the Clan lands.

The High Wiring Senka
On The High Wire /////// Human Appearance

"Come one, Come All...."

{{ enter from Haunted Carnival }}

As they left the Haunted Carnival, Maya had to allow her eye's to adjust to the bright light. The area she once lived in, was shrouded in darkness, during all times of the day. She she, as well as her eye's formed to the area. But now out of it, she had to shield herself from the light, until she adjusted. During such a time, especially during the day, her shadow abilities wouldn't be much use, unless shadows were nearby. But during the day, with the sun shinning would be likely. Giving a sigh, she looked over her shoulder, gazing upon the man in the armor, Allen as he called himself. They way he had announced himself, made her think he was a noble or something. This man intrigued her, more than most. It was just odd, especially when seeing someone in such attire. He was covered from head to toe in the odd shining metal, which seemed to shine awfully brighter in the sunlight.

Decreasing her speed, she came to walk beside him now, looking up at him. Questions raked her brain, wanting to know more. But for awhile, she just looked at him, not feeling the slightest bit ashamed for staring.

Not long after, the two reached the entrance to the marketplace, the area filled with people and chatter. Maya could hear them, and took a quick glance before placing her eye's upon Allen. She had been glad she shifted into her human-like appearance. She hated when people stared, as if she was some sort of monster, though it helped when trying to spook them. "So...how are you suppose to find this....person your suppose to protect?", she asked. Many people walked the marketplace, so it was a good way and place to start. At least that's what she assumed.

((Enter Haunted Carnival))

The darkness began to fade around them. Soon enough they were back in the sunlight. The change in the light didnt effect Allen's eyes very much. His helmet protected his eyes, even if they restricted what he could see to a degree. Allen kept his eyes forward and kept his back straight when he walked. In the sunlight, everything wasnt as clear when it came to auras. That was one problem with his helmet. While he could see details more clearly, auras became to saturated with bright light, making some auras unclear.

But, it was a nice change. Allen looked down as he followed the, compaired to him, small girl Maya. She was as her voice had portrayed her, beautiful.

And when she slowed to walk next to him, he kept his pace steady. Her staring didnt bother him, and when they reached the market place, the staring of the people around them didnt bother him either. Many people were not used to seeing someone in full armor anymore. Days of knights of valor and honor were long gone. And his people the Defenders were a rarity in the world after serving in some of the bloodiest wars.

When Maya asked her question, he turned his head. The helmet followed suit and he looked down at her as he spoke.

"This helmet, it allows me to see peoples auras. This lets me know what a person is like."

However, in the market place where it was brighter, auras colors sometimes were lost. And with so many people, the colors blended together into a rainbow of color. It would take his eyes awhile to adjust to allow him to see the colors more clearly. But eventually he would beable to discern peoples auras again with ease.

"Come one, Come All...."

"Hmm", was all she seemed to mutter, after he explained about his helmet. This odd armored man could read aura, letting him now what people where like. That sounded pretty interesting. "well...", she began to say, returning her gaze to the many figures who seemed to roam the marketplace, especially near the entrance. "let's get started", she finished, beginning to move into the busy place. Her eye's moved around, watching as people walked by, gazed upon trinkets and such that were displayed upon tables and bought items such as food, weaponry and clothing. Sch a large place was sure to have someone he was looking for, couldn't it?

As they walked though, Maya failed to even noticed the looks that they were gaining, more or so Aleen than herself. Since she changed her appearance, to look more human like, she seemed normal to the people around her. It was Allen who drew more attention, especially with that armor. And as she had looked up, she finally noticed the people moving out of there way, and there eye's directed in there direction. "Hmm? What are you staring at?", she asked, giving an irritated glare. It was then that she remembered his flashy armor and sighed. "Stop starring, it isn't nice", she hissed. Most people moved away, and did what she said, but as they walked passed, they happened to turn back around, to gaze upon the sight.

She even noticed a few girls that stood by, faces filled with blushes., as they stared at Allen. "A knight in shinning armor", one had muttered. "Just like in the story books. I never knew, they still existed" They then awed in affection and amazement. It only made Maya sigh with irritation. He was drawing a lot of attention, and wondered if it was even wise. she left it alone though. Someone like him wouldn't remove such a thing. But as she wondered this, she began to ask. "You said you can see people's auras" she began. Maya then proceeded to walk backwards, so she could gaze upon him. "What does my aura look like?", she asked curiously.

Allen had been to many bazzars, public markets, town markets, black markets and many many other places of the such. This was almost like a second home to him. Places such as this were, as Allen viewed them, a nessesity. People needed food, weapons and other things of good value. So, why buy them when you could trade for them, barter with the shop owner to try and get the best deal? And as Allen observed everything that this market had to offer with Maya, memories of past leige's surfaced. There were but only a handful, and none of them had ended well. Which is why he remained on his journey.

The starring, he didnt notice, nor did he mind. But, Maya was right to tell people to stop. It was rude to stare. He placed a gauntlet on her shoulder to try and calm her. He paid no attention to the few girls that spoke about him. Admiration, something you had to grow accustomed towhen you were sometimes used as a figure head, or idol for your armies. Or when people around just didnt wear full suits of armor anymore.

"When I first saw you, the light of the carnival made it seem black. Like the taint that hung all around that place."

When she asked a new question, he wasnt going to lie. But he continued to explain.

"But, when you moved closer I was better able to see your aura. It wasnt black, just a deep blue or purple. A color of mischief, making fun at other peoples expense. Though, there are other colors there, that is the main feature to your aura."

He said as he walked past her to a weapons stand and inspected the weapons there. The blacksmith hadnt looked up to see Allen, but instead began to speak."

"Some of the finest steel when into those weapons..."

The mans voice trailed off after he had looked up. He hadnt expected to see a full armored man standing over his items.

"Come one, Come All...."

The shadow demon watched and listened as Allen began to tell her about her aura. She gave a sweet smile as he labeled her aura as one that was mischievous. She was that indeed, but not always. That was all she had to do, or could do within the Haunted Carnival. It was amusing to spook the humans and other figures who journey to such dark lands. But as he mentioned about other colors being there, she tilted her head to the side, curious as to what those other colors could be. Allen had then moved ahead of her, before she could even utter a word. "Hey!", she shouted, trying to catch up to him.

As she finally did though, she peered around him, about to say how rude it was to walk off like that, but her eye's caught sight of what he had been gazing at. This was a weapons stand, and all looked to be nicely crafted. But that hammer that he held, was way more detailed and seemed extremely more stable than these trinkets.

Allen reached an armored hand out and picked up a barchaide. He lifted the huge two handed weapon in one hand with ease. He looked at it until he heard Maya shout at him and run up next to him. He turned his gaze down at her.

"Yes Madame Lamya?"

He said as he placed the barchaide back on the table. The blacksmith behind the table walked up to Allen and Maya, wiping his hands on a cloth.

"Your a big one my friend! I havent seen someone your size in quite some time. Though she wasnt quite so heavily armored as you that is for sure."

The blacksmith gave a hearty laugh and turned, moving over to someone that had a question about a long sword that he had on his table. When the man walked away, Allen moved a hand and pulled his helm visor up. This was the first time his face had been revealed in quite some time. His face, was surprisingly well toned, even and perportional. His eyes were white, and his skin was somewhat pale, both were from wearing his armor for such long periods of time. But when he didnt wear his armor and stayed in the light, his normal tan skin and deep red eyes returned.

"Woman like me..."

Allen said quietly, speaking to himself, forgetting that Maya was standing right next to him.

"Come one, Come All...."

Maya was about to express to him that he had just suddenly left her, but was interrupted as the owner of the stand arrived, or more or so noticed Allen. The shadow demon, who was wihtin her human form, just stood by and watched, hearing the conversation. Maya could care less about it, so she began to gaze around, at the many weapons that sat around. She herself didn't have a weapon, only her umbrella, if you could call it a weapon. She also had her powers, her ability to create illusions.

But as the weapons began to bore her, she turned her back to the stand, gazing out into the crowd. It was then that she heard Allen begin to move, and she turned her head to him. He was lifting up his visor, his face becoming noticeable. From where she stood, she could see it, and a light blush appeared upon her cheeks. Allen was handsome, though his skin was a bit pale, due to the armor. And as she stared, seeming to be drawn in by him, she heard him speak to himself, forgetting that she stood right by. This brought Maya out if her thoughts and smirked. Closing her eye's, she folded her arms across her chest. "That they do", she added, giggling a bit.

Allen continued to think as he stood there, holding his visor up. Who could it have been that passed through here recently? Though it was none of his business as family matters stayed just that in Defender families. He would have liked to have seen another Defender. It had been some time since he had been home. But he had no time for such things as longing for home.

He also hadnt expected to hear Maya taking his short statement and playing with its meaning. When she spoke, he looked down at her alittle confused by what she ment. Then it dawned on him and he gave a small smile. His white eyes and pale skin seemed to sparkle alittle as the sun shone down on the both of them, but it was really just the armor around his face that gave him that.

"That isnt exactly what I ment Madame Lamya."

Allen said as he pulled his visor back down, then placing a hand on her shoulder as he turned. More people were looking at him. It was quite a sight to see, Allen. Especailly standing over a young maden. His daunting, heavily armored form gave Maya an apperance of being a princess, or someone very important to have such a heavily armored escort. And the people were starting to stare at them again.

Though their stares didnt last long as they had to go about their business for the day, people who walked by turned their heads when they noticed the pair.

Unfolding her arms, and now placing them behind her back, holding one hand wihtin the other, Maya, opened her eye's and looked up at the fully armored man. A smile still remind on her lips ans she gazed upon him. "Uh huh, of course not. Whatever you say Allen", she said in a teasing manner. How else would one take such a statement? But Maya was only teasing him, having a bit of mischievous fun. But now his visor was pulled down, a bit of a disappointment to her. She had enjoyed gazing into his face, seeing his skin and his eye's, which were concealed under his armor. Oh well now.

Seeing both of them together, did indeed seem as if Maya was a important figure, like a princess or such. And as she finally took her sights off Allen, she noticed the many stares they received, especially as they made there way back through the marketplace. Maya had gotten tired of glaring and informing them to stop it, so she just sighed, and kept going forward. Her arms still remained behind her as they walked. "So, you see anyone yet?", she asked. Though she had thought such a place would be a good start, she began to think differently now This place held too many individuals.

Allen walked along side Maya. His eyes scanned over everyone. So many people, so many different colors. Most were of the same color just with different colors mixed in. But most of them were all the same, regular people that inhabited most areas of Byako.

The only one that stood out, was already walking right next to him. Maya, her aura stood out from everyone elses. And the more he stood with her, the better he saw her aura for what it was.

"No Madame Lamya, everyone here is the same."

Allen said truthfully. Most of them were the same. Until, he saw someone. This person, or people? They were a bad lot. He could tell by looking at them. They, or he, was shrouded in a black aura. But it couldnt have been one person. It was a large mass of something. But it all seemed to blend together to well. Was it one person?

Indeed it was, right ahead of Maya and Allen was something terrible. The man was easily as tall as Allen. Except his armor was jet black, intracately designed into dragons. It was adorned with Opals, Jet jewels and other dark gems. He stood in the way of Maya and Allen. But there was someone behind him, he couldnt tell with this new Defender standing in the way.

((Feel free to add someone that Maya could fight. I plan on having Allen get the tar kicked out of him with this Defender and his smaller leige. If ya dont want to though, then I can ^-^))

{{ You can go ahead add someone for her to fight n.n }}

Maya still walked beside Allen, his armor glittering in the sun that shinned momentarily. It indeed was a sight to behold, and now with her being under the sun, than in the darkness, her eye's had adjusted, and the glimmer was no longer a bother to her. Though his armor sparkled, her eye's itself held it's own shine. They were violet in color, but when the sunlight it them right, they sparkled with a variant of hues. They were very unique and beautiful, a sight which was rarely seen. She remained at his side, watching as he stared into the crowds, his head moving from side to side. But as he spoke, she sighed. This person with the aura he was searching for wasn't here. "Mmmm....guess we have to search somewhere else then", she suggested. The girl placed a finger upon her cheek, her head tilted a bit to the side. "But where?", she thought.

It was then that she felt a change in Allen, and looked up at him. He seemed to be staring at something very intently. So following his gaze, her eye's fell upon someone else dressed in armor, just like Allen, but his was black. His armor was adorned with various jewels, and it was indeed just as amazing as Allen's, who's shinned in the sunlight. Allen's was a jewel in itself. This figure though stood in there path, seemingly not going to move. Maya placed a hand upon her hip and stared him down. "Excuse me, but would you mind stepping out of the way", she stated to the man dressed in black armor. As she did so, she caught just a quick look at someone standing behind the large individual. But before she could get a good look, the armored figure had moved slightly, blocking her view.
