Dark vs. Light

I was a bit weary but I woke up again with a little more strength. "Damn it come on..." I shook the dragon. "Wake up." With the last bit of my strength I jolted him with a strike of energy. If this didn't wake him then we were out of luck. I lay back on the ground, tired, and watched him carefully.

Because of being on the light side, I was moving much slower than everyone else, so it took me forever to reach them. "Perhaps...we should...go back to the inn."

My skin turned into scales and The red scales turned yellow, I bolted upright and looked around. I didn't really recognize my surroundings, so I sat back down.

I tried to look at Knight but there was no energy left in me. I lay there on the ground with my eyes shut. If being on the dark side still wasn't helping him, I wasn't sure what would.

Seeing the dragon awake, I reached out, touching him lightly so that he knew he wasn't alone. She glanced ove towards Knight. "I doubt any of us will actually make it to the inn Knight."

I groaned, trying to get up. I had to make him a potion, but each time I started one up it would dissolve in the air.

Things weren't looking good for us.

I close my eyes for a moment, guaging the distance to the dark side. It wasn't too bad. Grimacing a little, I stand up and move away from the others. Slowly, energy moved from the plats around us towards me, acting as a temporary power boost. Then i move back over to the others, closing my eyes as I concentrated. Shadows swallowed us up, dumping us out on the Dark side, a good distance away from the boundary line. I dropped immediately after, gasping for air. "I really need to stop doing that....." I manage to say, before passing out.

I had a horrible nightmare about unicorns and ponies, I sat up with a start, thinking how good of a dream it could have been had I been slaughtering them, heheh. I got up and nearly passed out again, forgetting I was still a little hurt, so I had used a neat trick I had learned from the dragons of phoenix mountain, using the power of the phoenix flames, I healed myself and the others.

It wasn't healing I needed, but rest, though the flames gave a much needed energy boost. Even so, I relaxed, falling deeper into unconsciousness as I did a little recharging. It felt good to just drop into oblivion like this.

Feeling a bit stronger on the darkside, I stood, and quickly moved to Yoko, lifting her up. If everyone was starting to recharge, perhaps it was best we move to the inn, where we wouldn't be hunted.

I was already asleep but there was an inn close by. We would all be able to get there, but someone would have to transport Yuima.

I was so deep into unconsciousness that I wasn't even dreaming... It was just sweet, silent, darkness. In the outside world, my breathing had slowed to near nonexistent, though I was breathing and had a slow but strong and steady pulse.

I had seen how tired the girls were, so I picked up Yuima and carried her to the Inn, blushing a bit, but determined.

We got two rooms, and I carried Yoko into the other one. It reminded me of our first night...
