The Blood of Demons, and the Steel of Samurai. -Accepting-

The Ninja pushed off the demon's back, using the chain to swing around to his front this time. As they both dropped, the assassin threw a glass flask full of acid at the demon's face, then landed on it's chest once they were done falling.

 

[Zahzi]

The Demon gave a pained roar due to both the Acid and spear that was now going through it's chest.
It didn't seem to slow it down much, unfortunately.

A new voice chuckled near everyone.
"Only going to make him more mad..." he told them, watching from afar.  

[cptflint]

The assassin ran up to the demon's face as it roared in anger and stabbed at his eyes, trying to finish the job he wanted the acid to do. Blind him. He would thrust as deep as he could into each eye once, trying to reach the demon's brain if he could. After two stabs he'd attempt to flee into the woods.

Yuki was more worried about where the voice was coming from at this point. "Who's that?!" he yelled, running away from the demon and to where the voice had come from.  

[Zahzi]

The Demon roared once more, grabbing the Assassin't arms as he stabbed him through the eyes.

"Only a spectator, for now.."  

[cptflint]

The ninja struggled and pulled against the demon's grip. He relaxed his hands and slid out of the felt lined gloves the went up to his forearms. Once he was free he left his weapons behind, having had to let go of them to get out of the demon's grasp, and ran in to the woods. He ran straight for the ballista he had set up, which wasn't very far.

"Do you know how to kill this thing?" Yuki asked.  

[Zahzi]

As the Ninja ran, the Demon rose immediately, already pulling Yuki's spear out of his chest and chasing after the Assassin.

"Now why would I do that to a comrade..?"  

[cptflint]

Yuki looked rather upset, but now he was weaponless, so he did nothing and said nothing back. He just ran after the large demon, keeping his distance and gathering up the Nijna's weapons as he ran.

It didn't take him very long to reach the ballista and he immediately started reloading it, putting all of his strength and stamina into getting it loaded and aimed as quickly as possible.  

[Zahzi]

Fuma gave a grunt, about to follow after Yuki before Jari suddenly appeared in front of him.
"....What is it, squirt?" he asked, looking up at him.

"This." Jari replied, putting his hand on Fuma's helmet, who almost immediately fell over, silent.  

[cptflint]

The ninja aimed the crossbow and waited for the demon.

Yuki trudged through the forest, keeping his distance.  

[Zahzi]

As expected, the Demon charged straight towards the ballista.  

[cptflint]

As soon as he was in sight and the demons heart was aligned with the bolt's trajectory the ninja fired, sending the telephone pole sized arrow at the demon's heart, then running off into the woods again.  

[Zahzi]

The Demon swung his club at the bolt, which collided and broke the weapon, making the Demon even more angry as it sprinted after the Ninja.  

[cptflint]

The ninja started to circle around where he'd last seen Fuma.

((you never said if the demon dropped it our not but if he did Yuki totally picks up his spear.))  

[Zahzi]

((Nope. Still sticking out like a frickin' vaulting pole. XD ))

Fuma had completely disappeared.  

[cptflint]

The Ninja groaned and instead intercepted Yuki. "Samurai," he greeted.

"I'm no good against that thing with my bare hands and neither are you," he said as he tossed the ninja his weapons.

He caught them both and put the sword away. "Avoid him and be patient," he said before running off again.

Yuki gritted his teeth and ran into the woods.
