mc2 My name is Blink though once upon a time I was called Aimee Perry Blink set down the book in her lap and she reached in her bag and pulled out a mirror and said, "Shadow Walker, can I borrow you in the bathroom? I want to touch up my mascara and it would be easier if someone held the mirror for me."
With a smile she added as she stood, "Thanks." As she set the book down on her seat and began to head towards the bathroom she paused, "Are you coming, Shadow Walker? If you want I can do your make-up too and do your hair while we're there." The truth is that she wasn't particularly interested in correcting her make-up: she just rather speak to the girl privately. The Black Reaper was going to potentially be a problem for everyone if they didn't figure it out sooner than later. And Warp purposely antagonizing Myth seemed far from wise.Catherine Smithe my name is Shadow Walker Shadow Walker thought a moment about Blink's offer. No one had asked her to do something like that before and not having it be a servant or a maid. It sounded like fun and a much needed distraction. As Blink checked with her again she unbuckled her belt, stood and nodded. She followed Blink to the bathroom. She held up the mirror Blink handed her, she didn't feel like using her power to do it for her. "Heh, first field test and now someone else has my power… this worries me… after I understood what my power was and embraced being in the darkness. It all seem easy to handle." she sighed a little. "Odds are he didn't have any hesitation like I did."

My name is Blink though once upon a time I was called Aimee Perry Even though Shadow Walker held up the mirror, Blink did not bother to check her mascara and first started, "You can put the mirror down, I really didn't care about my make-up. I don't buy the expensive make-up that lasts just because i like to spend money: I am actually a cheap person. Regarding what I'm about to tell you this entirely off the record, you understand, yes?"
"Firstly, you're right, it isn't good about the Black Reaper stealing your power. But, what is more worrisome is he willingly took Warp hostage, knowing who he is. That seems awfully stupid unless you have an ace up your sleeve," She said fiddling with a necklace hanging around her neck featuring a Shakespearean quote. "Warp is arrogant. He's a bit of a jerk. And in some ways I'd like to think of him as the domineering boyfriend or big brother most people never had. Of course he has his good points, but that isn't my point. The point is Warp's arrogance is sort of justified. If it wasn't for his range limits he'd be an Omega level without a doubt."
"Going against someone like that within their range is suicidal at best. The Black Reaper having your power in addition to Warp's bothers me, but there is another issue: why would he make a gamble on Warp's benevolence? I wouldn't and arguably Warp likes me more than a lot of people. There is a possibility that the Black Reaper acquired an additional power that made him confident enough to go against Warp."
She raised a pink brow and continued, "I don't want to make this sound accusatory but you're the type who would have a sympathy for someone like Amp... and considering his power... Amp probably is one of the few people that could easily neutralize Warp. Amp has a remarkable understanding for other's powers and can sense powers a fair distance. Add his amplifying ability and ability to neutralize powers..." She shook her head and said, "Do you know where the boy went after you took leave of him?"

Tristan Farron The world's little Damselfly Tristan's feet were killing her. Why bother getting another ride? she'd thought, why bother, it's only a couple of miles. Trouble being it had been months since she'd walked a couple of miles and her trainers tended to chafe after a while. That's why the three miles and change from where that nice scandinavian couple had dropped her off to the Institute had taken her 4 hours. Constantly having to stop and take pain killers does horrible things to one's lap time. But now here she was, standing at the bottom of the road up to the gate with a slight smile on her lips.
It had been a day and a bit since she saw her parents leave in their rental. She couldn't blame them, she was tecnically old enough to be out on her own and her being around would be a massive hastle for them back home. Actually this is probably the best outcome, if they hadn't been in America when this all happened who knows what might've went down? No, this was a good thing, a nice oppertunity, even if she hadn't considered all of the possibilities yet.
She started walking again, checking her clothes to make sure they were all clean and straight. She did up the top button of her shirt, took her tie out of the pocket of her backpack and tied it with practiced skill. She liked ties despite how badly they hurt her skin sometimes. Black trainers, fir-tree green trousers, white shirt, tie matching her trousers and a cap, she felt reasonably presentable when she reached the gate. This didn't help her though, she glanced to the intercom at the gate and down to her feet and up to it again, this would take some psyching up to go through with. Tristan sat herself down ontop of her bag infront of the gate trying to get some courage up to ask these random strangers to let her into their home.

Jason RichterLOCATION: NYC, MRD HQ.Jason Richter rode up the elevator, heading to his meeting. This emergency meeting was with the Board of Directors of the Mutant Response Division, the Head, and himself. If all went as planned, the Head of the MRD would be forced to take the blame for the sentinel's outburst and be forced to step down, placing Jason on the top. He walked out when the lift dinged to a stop. He noted that his newfound abilities were already working overtime. The ability he gained from Physik, the man he recognized as the famed scientist Sebastian Arkain, was now working on his eyes, watching everything that happened and analyzing it subconsciously. He walked up to the meeting room and entered. A few members of the board had arrived, but a few were missing. He took the seat at the head of the table and turned it to the window, overlooking Manhattan. CURRENT POWERS Molecular Manipulation Amp Shadow Walker Warp Myth PhysikThe Black Reaper

Dean Nixon a.k.a. Myth Myth wasn't in the mood for these petty attacks from these fools who didn't know who the hell they were dealing with. Especially now. Knifes shot out of the air towards the MRD around them. They were meant to injure but not to kill. "Go." Myth motioned as he fired another barrage of knifes at the MRD. He clad himself in a fierce looking demonic armor. "So you weren't aware of his absorption. Your power in the hands of a mutant killer. The head of the MRD might be replaced by someone more ambitious, making them potentially even more dangerous. Magneto would be thrilled." Myth continued to speak to Warp as he took out a few agents with a summoned chain." I'd be willing to trade that boy for your sister. If not...well...you might not get him back. Maybe in a body bag." Myth wouldn't go as far as to kill him but he would get all of the information out of the boy before deciding what else to do. Kidnapping people close to him made this very...very personal. Myth summoned a ring around his finger that rendered him invisible. The Ring of Gyges. As he hopped on his bike so did that turn invisible. With a loud roar he rode off still invisible.

Alexander William Diaz a.k.a. Warp Warp ignored Myth's lecture about his power being in the hands of a mutant killer and the fact that the head could be replaced with someone more ambitious. When Myth offered the boy for Cassie he burst out laughing, "Hell, the boy would probably willingly hand himself over to free my sister. By all means, go ahead and kill him. I'm still considered killing him myself when I run into him next. He endangered someone of importance to me recently. Quite frankly the only reason I haven't murdered the kid was because of a request by my lovely sister."
"My sister is far more important than the sixteen or seventeen year old kid who's obsessed with her," Warp continued. "Not only is she the only person I consider my biological family, but she has a highly useful power. It is possible to win this war with minimal blood shed utilizing her power. I am sure you are aware of that fact."
"And regarding the Black Reaper please inform me of anything you find regarding him. It is a problem I didn't properly address due to my recklessness and a moment of kindness. I don't intend to make the same mistake again and I will find a way to eliminate the problem."

Catherine Smithe my name is Shadow Walker Shadow Walker frowned a little when Blink pointed out that she wasn't doing make-up. She placed the mirror down as Blink requested and listened to her. She started to wonder where she was going with the Black Reaper in mind but figured out. Who would attack Warp like that knowing what he's capable of within that range?… Unless… if they knew they could… cancel it like Amp. She really started to worry now there's not only one homo-superior that could cancel powers but two. As Blink let her know of her suspicions she bit her lip and wondered if she was that painfully obvious. Hopefully it wasn't obvious enough for Warp to know, she really hoped that Blink was only suspecting her and nothing more. She narrowed her eyes as she tried to remember, "I don't know… I found the nearest ground exit I could, which I guess would be in the alley next to the building we landed in. I made my escape as quickly as I landed, to avoid him taking my power to make things worse and managed to take my phone back from him." she smirked a little "I could come in handy as a pick pocket if needed."

My name is Blink though once upon a time I was called Aimee Perry "Oh I am sure you could become quite a handy pick pocket considering your power; however, I'm betting you really didn't need to," Blink said. "There would have been opportunity for you to alert Warp or me about the fact Amp got on the plane. Of course, I don't worry about the details or fault other's tastes. I have my fair share of bad taste. However, I should point out that the Black Reaper is a known killer of homo-superiors. Amp is pretty skilled but against a well known assassin all alone..."
She shook her head as she still played with her necklace, "I suppose there is nothing that can be done about the past. And if the Black Reaper did take Amp's power and even if he hurt or killed Amp it is too late to do anything about it."

Catherine Smithe my name is Shadow Walker She frowned a little. "I couldn't have told you or Warp. Amp said he would have sabotage the mission if I told. To be honest I was surprised he didn't take my power like he did Warp when he held me hostage. He just used me to get him to New York." Her eyes lowered,"…and now it may have lead him to his demise." She had to somehow veer Blink off she'd tell Warp for certain if she felt she needed to. She started to wonder, did she do the right thing? Was it better to die free than to be alive and locked up? She really wish she could see him again. His death was all her fault if she didn't try to help him he would be miserable and alive. She wanted to go and find him she wanted to make sure he was okay but there was no telling where they are right now and if she could make it back.

My name is Blink though once upon a time I was called Aimee Perry "Because the mission didn't go to Hell in a hand basket anyways," Blink said with a forced smile. "And, more importantly, I should let you know I tend not to get along with girls for two reason: almost no girl likes the slut, but more importantly, girls tend to have a bad habit of lying. Like I said, you could have found a way to inform Warp or me or even someone else about Amp's plan. And, considering he just used you to get to New York why should you care about if it led to his demise?"
"He took you hostage, yes?" Blink continued, "And he is obsessed with Warp's sister. And, let's face it, Love does have quite a few good points: she's clever, confident, pretty, good at sports, and fashionable. And, according to Warp she is a pretty good cook, which wouldn't be surprising considering he taught her to cook. Never mind the fact that her power makes it impossible for people not to love her. A normal person would think 'good riddance' and if he was hurt they wouldn't worry about it since it wasn't their fault."
"The only logical reason for you to worry about Amp's welfare and the reason you didn't find a way to inform us about Amp's plan is you have an attachment to him," Blink accused. "Not that I particularly care one way or another. Truth be told Warp had no good reason to keep Amp imprisoned. He did so merely because Love suggested Warp do that to him. It isn't my business if you felt sympathetic to the kid or you fell in love with him. And, I would argue that it would work out far better for me if you were interested in the kid."

Tristan Farron The world's little Damselfly Tristan picked herself up off of her bag with a long sigh, hand trembling slightly as she scooted over to the gate's intercom. There she paused again to consider what could happen now. She could get let in without a hitch but would they expect her to do the whole x-men thing? were they even still a thing? she heard they'd opened up but she wasn't paying much attention to hero news as of late. Last she hard most of them got squished. That's only a problem if she gets in anyway, there are dozens of reason why she might get turned down, too old, she only has a passport for I.D and no permanent Visa and she couldn't prove that she wasn't some form of murderer.
She closed her eyes and pressed her finger against the largest of the buttons, hoping it actually did something and that someone was home to deal with her. With that done she pulled her bag over and sat herself down on it again, waiting for a reply.

Instead of an answer coming from the intercom the gate merely opened to the school. In addition to the gate opening the image of blueprints with a path leading to the elevator and a basement medical room was presented in Tristan's mind. Dmitri Kovac a.k.a. Amp Meanwhile, Amp was sitting on the cold table of the med room waiting. He spent his time staring at his watch and scanning the room. There wasn't even a television in the room. In passing he wondered how long it would take for the X-men to return from dealing with the parade and whatever Warp end up pulling. He supposed it would take time, though. "I should just be thankful they didn't ship me back to Genosha or drop me off with the MRD," he muttered under his breath.
He frowned as he noticed a homo-superior with the power of controlling kinetic energy and raised a brow. The signature was seemed to be outside the facility he was in currently. He sighed and as he assumed that the X-men probably did have homo-superiors living in the mansion that weren't a part of the team. It was probably like Genosha in that a lot of the residents of Genosha weren't Brotherhood members.

Tristan Farron The world's little Damselfly Tristan raised a hands up to her head, touching her fingers to the skin of her forehead. The picture was both unexpected and slightly jarring in a way that forced her to pause for a few seconds before she picked her bag up and hefted it up onto her shoulders. She followed the path in her mind as quickly as she could, not pausing to take in the scenery, if they wanted her in a medical room it may potentially be something serious.
It's not long before she's in the elevator, what's with elevator, it's a lift, it lifts things from the top. Americans and their silly words for things. Aluminium is not pronounced aloominum. This'd take some getting used to. That was the forethought in her mind as she stepped out of the lift, eyes tracing down the corridors quickly to locate the door she needed to go in.
There was another pause at the door as she thought of some first words. She reached out, opened the door and cleared her throat, making sure to put on her most charming welsh accent, "Hello there, Americans~"

Dmitri Kovac a.k.a. Amp Amp raised a brow when the girl entered and quickly stood up, sliding off the metal medical table he had been sitting on. "Uh... I wouldn't exactly consider myself American technically," He managed, before quickly saying, "I mean I was born an American and lived here for a while but I just got back to the States from Genosha a couple hours ago... Kinda hard to affiliate yourself with a country that doesn't want you."
He frowned and added brightly, "I assume you're new here too? I was waiting for the X-men to get back from a mission: I was told to wait here." He shrugged and held out a hand for her to shake and said, "Anyways, I'm Am-" He paused and corrected himself almost as if he hadn't used the name in quite a long time, "Dmitri. Dmitri Kovac. So, your British?" He said, obviously not an expert on accents.

Tristan Farron The world's little Damselfly Tristan raised an eyebrow at the presense of a single white guy who neither looked nor acted like he was at all scienific. What with being on a table and all. She gently places her bag on the ground and readjusts her tie as he retorts, listening to his words before she really looks at him. Possibly pedantic, probably sense of humour, enbittered. Open with a cliche joke... She couldn't think of any. "Not here to argue semantics.."
She stretched her arms up above her head and sat herself down on the bag, alienated youth, quite attractive for a guy, doesn't seem to want to be here. "Yes to all assumptions, new and British, Welsh." She answered bluntly, putting an extra layer of sleepy on her voice to make it seem like any rudeness was due to her being tired rather than meaning it. "Am-Dimitri Dimitri Kovac, huh? interesting name for a not-American. I'm Tristan"
"I assume.. you're not official here then?"
