What the-? What was he...? Julian sank more and more into his cocoon as he stared at Daniel's lifeless expression. Jesus Christ, he was freaky! Did he do this all the time? Even after they...? Just the thought of being cuddled up to Daniel as he stared at him with those empty eyes made Julian freezing beneath his warm blanket.
"Hey... Hey, stop that." he said, wiggling so that his wrapped up legs could poke the blonde. "You look creepy."

Daniel blinked as he was poked, turning his head to the side to look at Julian with his big blue eyes and say, "Well, what else am I supposed to do? You have the blanket." His neck creaked as he returned his eyes to the ceiling, settling into the mattress and exhaling deeply.

Seeing that dead expression immediately switch to the puppy dog stare, a shade of blue came down the first half of Julian's face. His mouth became a squiggled frown, and soon he realized that there was no way out of this. What a conniving genius.
"Tch, fine." Julian grumbled and rolled around so that some of the blanket was free. He pulled his arm out of his wrapping and draped the free section of blanket on Daniel. "Better?"

In seconds, Daniel was curled up to Julian's side, happily warming under the blankets and closing his blue eyes. He looked almost cute, now that all that stupid stress wasn't obvious. In fact, Daniel would've been downright adorable if it weren't for his height and that constant stoic expression. And this was a side of him that only Julian had seen, that only Julian knew existed. "Thanks," breathed Daniel, not opening his eyes.

Blinking at the rapid movement, it took Julian a second to realize Daniel's position. He looked down, originally intending to push the man away from him, but froze when he saw that cute face. Pursing his lips, Julian sighed through his nose and melted into a dreamy look. And he gets mad at me for wanting to top him, he thought to himself. "Yeah, yeah." was his only reply as he put his arms around the blonde, falling asleep with the expression only he knew fresh in his thoughts.

Several hours later, Daniel finally awoke, blinking up at that face that was so close to his. He'd forgotten in his slumber to the the dominant male, and had found himself curled like a tiny kitten into Julian's arms. He waited to see if the other was awake, then smiled. He didn't mind being like this if it was Julian, he thought before finally making himself sit up. They had things to do, but he could wait until Julian woke up.

He didn't have to wait long. After a few minutes of Daniel sitting up, Julian attempted to pull that body back towards him for warmth, but ending up grabbing air. His eyebrows furrowed and his hand pat the bed repeatedly until, with a groan, he opened his eyes to find the blonde. He squinted at the imprint of the body then looked up to see that stare that bothered him last night. "I thought I told you not to do that." he grumbled and lazily kicked the man.

"Who made you my boss?" was his snarky reply as he got out of bed and started to fix his hair. "Come on, get up, we have things to do." His tone was a little drowsy, but more alert that Julian. The killing machine was almost ready.

Julian gave Daniel a glare anyone would when woken up early, then he rolled over on the bed so that his back could face him. "Jesus, can't we just do all this tonight? You're a Nightingale, not a Morningale." he grumbled while stubbornly clutching the blanket to his body.

A foot appeared on Julian's side, a smirk on the blonde teen's lips as he kicked, aiming for his lover to fall off the bed. "Get your a** up, lazy," was his reply to the brunette's complaint. "Besides, it's not the morning. It's closer to 3. Up, up, up!"

A yelp escaped Julian's mouth as he tumbled off the bed, the blanket coming with him. With a grumble and a few choice words, he got back up and glared at the blonde. "Whatever. Afternoongale." he grumbled and groggily made his way to the dresser. "I'm borrowing your clothes." he more announced than asked and began looking through the closet himself.

"What else is new?" laughed the blonde as he yanked on a pair of black jeans. Buttoning them, he pulled a light green long-sleeved v-neck over his head and stuffed his hands into his back pockets. Walking over to the window, he looked out through the glass and blinked, the view from his house just enough to the top of the high school, and if he tilted a certain way, the hospital's helicopter landing pad. Things were going by so quickly, and he was nearly an adult. His eighteenth birthday was drawing near, and he expected the title Nightingale as well. This could only end badly.

Dressing in clothes that most likely belonged to Daniel's middle school days (Julian no doubt believed that they were still here for when he would stay the night), the brunette slightly popped his shirt's collar then looked at himself through the mirror. A green shirt with a checkered wristband and jeans with countless pockets there, many of which were now filled with his own serums and syringes.
"Alright, Mr. Assassin, where do you want to start?" he asked as he put a baseball cap over his head.

The teen tied a pair of black Chucks on, then leaned on the wall and crossed his arms. "One source said that he's been spending a lot of time at a restaurant downtown. I was thinking we could go check that out," he said waiting until Julian was near the door to open it. "Then, we can go by Micah's office uptown."
