Rocket Agent Faleen

"OH dear!" Faleen said in alarm when Kailee slipped, and slipped again.
"Hold on." She reassured, making her way over with a more stable stance to help the Grunt up and a little more securely.
"You're not hurt at you?" She asked. Though they would soon be met with a flooding of water.

Nothing Faleen wasn't used to, but she was surprised to see it as they opened the doors to the new room.
Her eyes widened a little as she looked around, though a light lift of the side of her face showed a deal of disappointment "They sure do clean out quite thoroughly sometimes, don't they."

she nodded to some of the computers that seemed to have survived the water. "Do you think those are salvageable?" Faleen said, before sloshing her way over to them.

Taking a few careful steps away from the stairs, Hayes added his flashlight to the others. The swinging beam of light slowed as the shapes it illuminated made sense, and the blond's expression lit up; this looked much more promising.

The little wave of water that rolled across his boots, on the other hand.

"Oh." That was a lot less promising. "Guys, careful," the elite called to the group at large as he backed up to the stairs. "Everything plugged in here's a shock hazard. We should shut the power off first."

[X - exploring computer tables]

Glit coolly leveled a sharp look at the girl. She was perfectly fine. Help? She needed no help from her. Move along now.

Lex set out slowly across the floor, Howlback following now she knew she wasn't going to end up on her back like her younger companion. He looked down and slowly and carefully checked Glit for scrapes and bruises. "Well, looks like they have the Ice under control now." He said leaning against her.

"Thanks Kailee." He added and started looking over the tables, computers, and what not. Maybe he could find a USB drive or two.

X

Water, water everywhere... Tambrey frowned at it, but decided it was probably a little better than the ice...
Until Hayes spoke.
The agent froze.
Of /course/ everything plugged in was a shock hazard... And she was standing right in the water, right there.

Thanks to Tiamat, there should be at least a little less slipping, the floor still rather icy in some places, but happy it was mostly water. When she returned to him, he patted her nose. "Thanks Tiamat." He told her, she rumbling happily.

Moving further into the room, he looked around at the rooms. The techies would love the computers whether they still worked or not.

[x- listening at control room door]

Kailee smiled to Faleen. "Nah... im used to it... But thank you..." She took the help up. But then moved on with the others. She nodded at the warning and waved in reply to Lex and nicely left the snake alone. She was looking at the control room. Someone wanted to keep people out... Brim was working to clear tables the reader would be the next thing they would have to deal with. She brought out a few other pokemon to help, Solar and sissy. They cleared the tables and Kailee pressed her ear to the door to listen.

"Nothing seems like its on at least on ground level." Faleen said as she looked around for what was exposed and what might be a danger "Or we would have been in trouble the moment the water touched us."

But it was a good idea to make sure that everything was safe for the team.

Aulus nodded to Hayes grimly; "The control room then, to be safe. Much better safe than electrocuted." There would be switches and s**t there right?

As nobody else had been electrocuted yet he moved over to Kailee to help her large pokemon shift the tables, passing his flashlight up to Paul to free uo his hands. Hu, and what was behind that plastic thing taped beside the door? He'd take a look once the furniture was moved he guessed.

That was a good point. Not caring to be electrocuted let along have either of his pokemon suffer it, Lex joined Kailee and Aulus into moving tables. Turning of the power sounded like a good idea.

Tech room

All of the visible wall outlets were various heights above the water line, and no plugs were inserted into any of them.

The blond agent let out a light hum as she investigated the safety of the room.
"Alright, we should be alright, but just in case, lets watch how big of waves we create." She made sure to ward the team how they moved about in the water.

"Hayes-" Faleen said to get the Elite's attention. "While they take that down, would you mind helping me pull the hard drives?"

[[ We're throwing in the towel for tonight! We'll resume tomorrow at 4PM EST and will, if necessary, take a break for a couple hours in the evening while Beef goes to dinner with her family. There isn't much left to do, so we foresee no reason why it shouldn't be possible to wrap up before midnight! ]]

"Sure," Hayes called back to Faleen, who had a point about everyone already in the water being just fine. He put his reaction down to habit and an acquired aversion to electric shock. But getting wet in northern Sinnoh's climate was still an exposure risk, and it looked pretty deep at this end. The blond tested the depth and, satisfied the chill liquid wouldn't spill over the tops of his boots, recalled Binary and Switch and sloshed forward.

"I think we can save the guys on the floor if we get them professionally cleaned," he told the blond agent when he reached her. "If we're lucky, the drives might not even be wet. Some cases mount them near the middle or pretty high up." He extracted a sheaf of silvery static shielding bags from his coat and passed half to Faleen. "If one's submerged, fill the inner bag with water and double-bag just in case."

The tech laid a gloved hand on the nearest tabletop tower and tugged the power cord free before unscrewing the cover and peering inside. It was hard to tell in the dim light but he'd gotten an impression of that uniform computer lab look from the room, so finding the drives on this tower might tell him a lot about how easy data recovery was going to be for all of them.

Aulus nodded to Faleen's mention of waves, taking care not to just shove the tables around. After a moment of thought he moved back from the door and started setting some of the ones they'd already moved upright. "For anyone that doesn't want to stand in the water," he explained, "they look stable enough I guess so long as nobody takes it into their head to reenact Riverdance. Hey, Daniel," Aulus glanced over his shoulder as he moved back towards the door, "you know why the control room is blocked off?" It was worth asking.

Tortie hopped up onto one of the now upright tables, pleased to get her paws out of the freezing water. Tail twitching back and forward she watched Aulus intently, fully intending to grill Char later on for more information than just 'misunderstanding'.

Char meanwhile had remained a little way back from the group; he was keeping his eyes trained on the stairs. he asked of the bird perched upon his shoulder.

Glit shifted, clambering up on a table and shook herself slowly from head to tail tip to get the freezing water off her skin. Freezing water and plants did not mix. She grumbled, shifting and hunkered in the table, displeased in general with how the raid was going. This was her table, everyone else could buzz off.
