xiiao-ai Mini, we aren't that similar. Queensland don't even do the HSC. D:
In my school, we have a half-yearly like everyone else. It's like, to help us along with our subjects or something. -never understood this-
It's also meant to tell the teachers what they should help us work on to become the perfect students.
Something like that.
I know Queensland doesn't have the HSC, but you're in NSW aren't you, so you should be doing it. In any case, even if the format of the curriculum is different, the end result is still the same as the VCE. In Victoria, we too have half-yearly and end of year exams, and they make up the bulk of the assessment. Whether it's a percentile rank system, or a 1-7 score system, they're both ways to determine how well you do and rank you against other students for tertiary selection. Anyways, I'm still wondering why you chose subjects like Textiles, multimedia and PDPHE(sp?). You didn't even bother doing maths at all.
