"I don't know...Perhaps we should start from here and work our way to the edges of the town." Rin was not certain how they would know when they had found what they were after but hoped that everything would fall into place when they did.

Noah scratched his head. "What if we use our powers. I mean our powers come from our shards. So, in theory, if we use our powers, it could attract the shard to us like we were magnets." he said still scratching his head.

Exodus returned from his errand and caught up with the rest of the group. "Sorry everyone I'm finished and I shouldn't have to go away for a while." He had a book in his hands and he then placed it inside his pack. He overheard them looking for a shard, "Well...which shard are we looking for? I mean if we already have a shard of the same element, then we can use it to track it down."

Noah shook his head. "I really don't know, and if it's an element none of us have, how will we do that?" he said looking around.

Victoria floated down from the air, and folded her wings. The disappeared once behind the safety of her back. She thought about what was said.
"Hmm...Well, at times, can't our shards glow? Maybe if we concentrate enough, maybe we could make the other shard glow.." Victoria said. Her gem shimmered from the light.

Noah smiled. "Yeah, you're right. I guess we could do that." he said removing his headband. His shard began to glow darkly as soon as his headband was removed. "Well, it's glowing, so would it work like a metal detector? Would it glow more when we near the shard?" he asked really confused.

karin arived just to see sin slit the throat of a town oficia, "You b*****d what are you doing here!" she screamed and reached into her bag and pulled out one of her books insted of her blade. she stood like she would use it has a weapon.

Sin looked at Karin through the slits of his mask, he smiled but could not tell, "well im just doing what you should be, you are one of the only ones who can sense the presense of the shards, yet you side with them, they do not know even what they are doing, how their actions will affect the world, they are fools, and you are being a fool with them," sin took a few steps twords her and puyt out a hand, "join me agian, please, and we will shape the word into what it can be, using the shards." sin waited for a responce.

Kair was looking at the ground tears swelling up in her eyes, "i dont know why, but these people........i cant leave them, maby, one day, they will learn what they are doing, and change their actions for the better, but untill then, they view you as an enamy, so i will do the same!" Karin lunged at him swinging the book down atop his head.

Sin reached up and grabed Karins wrist, "My dear, do you really think you can beat me?" he built up electrical energy and shocked Karin.

Karin felt the engey build up, she swung her feet around and kicked away off of his cheast, as she flew through the air she flung the book at him, she rolled as she hit the ground and ran the oposite direction, heading between two building and tic-tacing her way up to a window ledge, she climbed in and ran through it heading for the roof.

Sin fell back from the kick and lightning exploded in his hand, he reached up and caught the book and placed it into his pocket and ran after her, he did the same as she did, tic-taking up the wall and into the window, he grabbed an oil lamp on the table and smashed int on the ground as he ran, catching the building on fire, he followed Karin to the roof.

Karin stoped on the edge of the buildings roof, she turned to see sin standing there about ten feet away, Karin was about to say somthing but stoped and looked to the edge of the town, there was an old woman carrieing a baby, Karin could sense the shards presence, "s**t." she said and ran at Sin building up light in her hand and bending it to cause a laser to blast apart the ground Sin was on, she threw a kick at his head.

Noah looked over. "Holy crap! That building's on fire! We gotta help." he said melding into the shadows and appearing on the roof. "Hello, anyone need help?" he said with his sword drawn. He noticed Karin's fight and looked at the struggle.

Sin had folloed Karins eyes, sge say the woman and the child and knew what it was, when he looked back Karin was upon him, he felt the ground below him crumble away and he could not jump away, he was struck in the side of the head and rolled across the roof untill he rolled right off the edge, as he fell threw his blad wraping it around a light post and swung around the building and headed twords the woman and child.
