The Dueling Arena ~The RP~

He looked over to her "Could you get me a bowl of iced water first? also, bring a cloth if you would" He held up his hand, it didn't look hot, but if he were to touch himself or anybody else, the hand would severely burn them. It was a small adverse effect of the energy, though the body part used had little to no effect for a period of time.

Christie nodded and went to the corner of the room where there was a sink with a cabinet underneath it. She pulled out a bowl and a cloth, and soon was back over by Saito with a bowl full of ice-cold water and put it on the little table by the bed, and held out the cloth for him to take it.

By this time, both the twins were out cold. They had looked somewhat troubled, but the expressions on their faces were relaxing as they slipped deeper into unconsciousness.

Saito stuck his hand half way into the bowl, steam quickly came up as it hissed, his hand wasn't going to be cooled by just dunking it in at once. "Drop the towel over my hand... and after a minute or so could you go and get another bowl of ice cold water?... this is going to take a little while since the heat is all the way down to the bones in hy hands and partially in my arm..." There was no way of averting this, as with many of the ancient techniques when it came to medicinal purposes, pure energy was a good use, but it always had side effects to the user.

Takamura shook his head. "No I do not, though I'm sure she has business to attend to in the infirmary." he informed the man as he continued to haul Raul to the infirmary.

Yarn Mcziln sat in the waiting room impatiently, wondering what was going on around this place to cause such a hold up.
Rising, she walked out of the room, looking for someone in charge.

Christie complied, and they went through three more bowls of water before Takamura returned to the infirmary with Raul over his shoulder. The other people had followed him there, but they waited in the hallway.

"What happened?" Christie asked Takamura as he came in.

His hand wasn't really making steam come off of the water any more, the bone was starting to cool down a bit as well. He was beginning to feel his hand again, it was still going to be a while before his hand was back to normal temperature, but at least now it wasn't going to give near-instant third degree burns to anybody that touched it.

Takamura lay Raul on one of the Examining tables and smiled. "He slipped." he explained as he looked at the crowed of people. "I'll go deal with them." he said as he walked into the hall way. "Nothing to see, Go back to your seats." he yelled at the crowed.

One of the people who'd followed Takamura to the infirmary tried to add something in, but then Christie said: "Thanks for coming, people. All of you just please try to make sure things get sorted out in the lower levels so that we can get some creature fights going sometime soon, okay?"

As they went away towards where all the holding cages were, Christie gave Saito more cold water and gave Takamura a look as though to ask if Raul had really slipped.

Christie's cell phone rang, and she looked at the ID on the screen as she slid the phone open to answer it.

"Andre?"

"Are you on your way back?"
...
"Well, things are more under control now, but Raul seems to have gotten himself injured again, and I don't see how you think we could start the tournament back up before you return, all things considered."
...
"Sure. Do what you can. Bye."

She shut the phone and rolled her eyes just a little bit, and then turned back to the others who were there in the infirmary with her.

The Mysterious Laelia/Plushie Lady

After a lot of walking around, Sarika finally reached the all talked about Dueling Arena. Standing outside of it, she gazed up at the very large structure. The girl gave a whistle at what she saw. "That's pretty impressive", she stated, before placing her sights back below and towards the entrance. She noticed the sign, as well as a bored looking young man in a booth. Not paying him much mind, she walked near the booth and placed a few coins on the counter and proceeded inside. She wanted to take a tour of the place first.

The arena was quite impressive indeed. It amazed her on the outside, but the inside was even better. A very large pit, surrounded by seats gallor. Sarika could just imagine people in those seats, watching intently at the battles below. Smirking, she closed her visible eye and walked on.

Soon she proceeded down a level, following the signs towards the practice area. But on the way, she spotted a table, where one could sign up for tournaments an such. This made the girl smirk a bit. "It would be interesting to test a few people, but..." The girl knew better than to be all cocky. She was new to Byako and to do such a foolish thing like that wouldn't be wise. She didn't know who, string or not, resided within this city. The smart thing would be to observe first, then enter, if deemed necessary.

Reaching a decision, she proceeded passed the table, towards the practice room. Upon reaching said destination, Sarika noticed the sign, as well as the warning. She only gave a smirk and pushed open the door.

Xela, leading Jesse for a while, finally walked through the entrance of the Duel Arena with her.

"So this is the duel arena," he said.

Striker, following Xela and Jesse far behind enough to not let either that group or the group following him know that he was following the first group, eventually made it to the Dueling arena.

"So, this is it," he said to himself, looking back at Leon and Emily.

Emily followed after Striker, Leon's hand in hers. SHe looked around and smiled slightly. Arena battle was one of her specialities.
