[Zahzi]

"And you should know when not to pry."  

[Randomly Gone Insane]

"Well if you're not going to answer, will you at least join the Hunters then?" Edge asked, going for a different technique.
If logic and reasoning weren't going to work with Tango, then perhaps pestering him until she got the answer she wanted would.  

[Zahzi]

"I've already told you my answer, Hunter. If your little clubhouse wants to try and destroy me, let them. I do not care."  

[Randomly Gone Insane]

"But I care." Edge frowned, tilting her head as she stared curiously down at Tango.

"Why won't you?"  

[Zahzi]

"Let's say I DO join." Tango grunted.
"Why would the man who wanted me dead sit back? I'm sure he wants me dead."  

[Randomly Gone Insane]

"He may still want you dead, and it's known now. So he'll have two options: Back off, or kill you and go to jail because only an idiot would think it was an accident after that point.

"Either way, a bad man loses."  

[Zahzi]

"So you think. Why was your clubhouse so adamant in listening to this man?"  

[Randomly Gone Insane]

"Would you stop calling it a clubhouse." Edge growled frustratedly.

"It makes you sound like a child."  

[Zahzi]

"That's basically what it is." Tango told her.
"Why else do they act above everything?"  

[Randomly Gone Insane]

"It's not. We're the protecters of society. Not some childish gathering like you keep seeing us."  

[Zahzi]

"Were that the case." Tango asked, standing up and staring at her.
"Why do you have a choice with what happens to me?"  

[Randomly Gone Insane]

"I wasn't specifically told to do anything. Our Commander knew killing you was wrong, but denying the job would cause our branch to collapse. The one seeking your death apparently pours too much money into us for us to ignore one request.

"To counter this stupid politician's hit, Icarus simply ordered for us to deal with you. This means we get the job done. Doesn't matter how, as long it's done and it's done without hurting civilians and undermining our whole purpose. Shortly before we left, Icarus asked us the same riddle I asked you. He wants you to join."  

[Zahzi]

"And what happens if I DON'T want to join?" Tango asked, crossing his arms.
"I've made it CLEAR I don't want anything to do with anyone..."  

[Randomly Gone Insane]

"Then we keep trying, because I can't leave with the mission incomplete, and I am not going to kill you. Not for the wrong reasons." Edge answered simply.

"Why does that bother you so much?"  

[Zahzi]

"I've been used as a mindless weapon before, Hunter. I have slaughtered many for my highers in the name of 'justice'. I've razed entire communities only because I was told to. My Jamming Emitter has been used to not only put robots in stasis and people to sleep, but to terminate both." Tango growled.

"You wanted to know why I was so goddamned adamant of not joining? And why I don't want to tell you my story? There. I was used as a weapon of culling before your little club was ever even THOUGHT of. I don't want to join because I KNOW that is what will happen!"
