OMG, my computer is FLIPPING out. It's even worse than when I took it in, I freaking hate Frys, and I want my money back!! I'll need it to buy a new computer! Anyhow if I go poof, not updating anywhere within a day, that's why, and I'm sorry. I'll find time to steal onto my dads until I figure out what to do. Technology is REALLY hating me hard lately ~_~.
@Kits - haha, maybe it is, because yea in traditional rummy if you only play with 2 people the number of cards change, however more than 2 it's 7. There are tons of variations, apparently Mah Jongg counts as one of them.
Yea treasure finding really doesn't seem that sexy, but whether you think so or not your subconscious apparently does ^_~.
I would give ANYTHING (well not anything, but somethings) to dream more.
@Nightfure - haha, I see to be a lot of things ^_~. But yea I am OCD so generally when technology doesn't fight me I compulsively need to update. As long as their is something for me to respond to I respond.
@Kits - LE GASP?! EIGHT! That's like...like...MIND BOTTLING!! You know, like when you get your thoughts all jumbled up in a bottle ^_~ ((I <3 Blades of Glory, this is what I'm quoting - loosely - atm)).
@Nightfure - Oh, you thought it would be done then? Well, something kinda random and plot-less is hard to wrap up, so it'll probably go until everyone gets really uber bored, which obviously hasn't happened yet.
Oh math, what math are you in? I was awesome at math until I hit calculus, then I had issues. I even liked calculus (unlike geometry, which I despise), but not my strong point. Algebra is the one math that I both like and am good at.

@Nightfure: It is pretty rare for that to happen, I suppose. XD;; Yay for getting grades back up!
www, stupid Fry's! *b***h slaps them for you* Hope things work out for you technology-wise! Yeah, I have no idea what the 'real' way is or all the variations, but I'm content with the way I've always played. XD;; I think my subconscious at least allows the treasure hunting to be a little more sexy due to Kaiba kind of turning Jounouchi into a slave to do it... I think... I'm OCD in that way too, so I feel weird if I don't update once a day and respond to new responses. >_o Is Blades of Glory the ice skating one? XD Yup, we just kind of keep going with the chatting randomness. Algebra is my favorite math too! *nerd high five*

@Nightfure - freaking geometry! Haha, yea I took it Freshmen year. There pretty much is no grade math at my HS, 4000 people everyone is just evaluated on level, a good number take algebra or even geometry in middle school though. My middle school was dumb and behind and so people got to take algebra twice - rather slowly extended over two years - if they tested high enough. Geometry didn't make the curriculum until a year or so after I left. My AP Calculus class senior year had a freshmen in it.
@Kits - taking the computer back today, here's to hoping I come back with a loaner or this might be the only thread I make it into today. I'm on my dad's comp now because I can't even get onto mine at the moment. This is REALLY causing my OCD some physical pain!
Yea, with Will Ferrel and the blond guy whose name I never remember. I love that movie, it's so hilarious, and slightly gay, haha.
*nerd high five back*

@JK: I'm taking Geometry Freshmen year even though it's a 10th grade course :/ We have a fast track if you score high enough on an entrance test, and even though I didn't pass the test, I got one of the highest scores XD I took Algebra in Middle school. razz

Woo, loaner computer! I'll be around at least tonight ^_~. They said they'd call me and let me know what's going on with my computer tomorrow *huffs*. I like this loaner better than the last (though the keyboard is kinda weird)!
That's cool Nightfure, yea everything at my school district was (and still is) by testing not by year. I knew seniors in Geometry and freshmen taking Calculus and Statistics. I took Geometry freshmen year but I had friends who were taking Algebra 2 already Freshmen year, those privileged bastards going to the middle schools with more advanced math programs *shakes first*. I had friends that just took math in summer at community colleges to avoid certain teachers during the year. If it wasn't for the fact my summers were booked competing on swim teams and working day camps I'd probably have done that too.

@JK: Yeah, pretty much how your school did the math programs is how mine did as well. And I had the same middle school dilemma, so only got to take Algebra I in it, and Geometry Freshmen year. D: Yes, it was quite a gay movie. XD Yay for loaners!

Yay dilemma!!
Hahaha, it really was, but just tauntingly suggestive, which was great. I rather enjoyed being taunted ^_~.
Much yay indeed, but the bureaucratic crap IS kind of annoying. So stressful, I've pretty much decided to buy a new laptop, but I'm waiting until summer until I have a better idea of what my financial situation is going to be in regards to school. I officially made my decision though, Birmingham it is, I would have accepted online today (contacted the programme advisor) - except ya know, techno issues. So I'll do it tomorrow and then mail in the written acceptance either tomorrow or Friday.
Programme, I wonder exactly how much I'm going to get penalized for my American English ~_~, hehehe. My proud in America brother (total would be Bandit Keith fan) is now insisting on how I do not spell words. No favourite, no colour, etc.

Ditto. Probably a good idea; your laptop has sounded as if it's been on its last leg. I don't think it will be too big a deal, considering most people don't make a big deal in the US to read English spellings.

Yea, but it really shouldn't be yet.
Yea, but that doesn't mean the English aren't offended by us ugly tea hurling Americans ^_~. They still have a revolution to get back at us for, haha j/k j/k!!

Haha, good point. XD Though personally, I think Americans were pretty retarded in their revolutionary cause. At least if you look at some stuff that isn't included in our textbooks.

Well, I think people are pretty much retarded period. And considering the slogan "no taxation without representation," I gotta wonder how they'd feel today. That adage, "taxation WITH representation isn't much better," has more than a pinch of cold veracity to it ~_~.

Especially as we really get no say in where our taxes are spent. We have to vote for people who will speak for us, which would be an adequate system - if we had a diverse candidate to vote for. However only rarely do people outside of a certain class, privilege and mentality ever amass the funds and support necessary to run. And that select minority hardly makes a difference. It's the same as not having the voice, just constantly trying to find the lesser evil.
