Denko Meta_Fish We watched Raiders of the Lost Ark in Film and Video today and yesterday, and Indiana Jones is just awesome. Some big boss-like enemy appears, wielding what I can only say resembles a scimitar and spins it around, showing off his muscles and dexterity. Jones just sighs and pulls out his gun and shoots him, then moves on. I agree. That scene is probably my favorite in all of movie history. It shows his character so well. What a great movie. mrgreen Noone knows the story behind that scene? Alright. In the script, that massive guy and Indiana are supposed to have an epic fight scene, but on shooting day, Ford and the other actor couldn't get it right. After a ton of takes ended in failure, Ford just got pissed and shot his gun, which was loaded (with blanks) for another scene, and the other guy went with it perfectly. That's the take you see in the film. Pretty crazy, huh?
