Yeh, you sorta got it in one. Except I haven't touched flyff since xmas, so can't blame it on that.

I tried to work hard in the second semester, but catching up all that missed material was just too difficult with courseworks and lab write ups getting in the way. I actually had to attempt the work myself for once (and by doing so realised I basically knew nothing lol), instead of copying like everyone else does. But by the time my work ethic was starting to improve, it was already too little, too late. emo

Although I haven't technically failed yet, you could say that I've accepted failure already. Thing is, I might be able to scrape a pass this year if I retook some exams in summer, but I thought it over and felt it'd be best just to redo the whole year. My knowledge of the 1st year material is really shaky and full of gaps due to missed lectures, workshops etc. This obviously wouldn't bode well for the 2nd year where the course gets much more intense. It's for the greater good, I think. <=)

In some ways I'm not too down about it, cos my personal tutor and parents support my decision... but there is that feeling like I've gone and wasted a year of my life. Hmmm, knew I should've gone for a gap year to relieve myself from 'education' for a while. sweatdrop
