"Come one, Come All...."

As the fight continued outside, Maya kept her eye's on this unknown man, as he finally began to explain, something. So Allen, and the unknown dark armored figure were known as Defenders. "What a...proper name", she thought as she continued to listen in. And as she did, she noticed him moving, as if up to something. Maya couldn't figure out what it was, so she continued to watch him. The umbrella she still held, it twirling behind her. If he tried anything, her umbrella would protect her.

He spoke of the Defenders changing, falling to the corrupt and unjust, and for someone like him, who wielded such bright light, she figured that he was one of the corrupt or unjust, which was slightly odd. Normally one would thing that the one who controlled shadows, or something of darkness related. But it seemed like that wasn't the case. But as she noted his eye's glowing, and odd feeling began to waft over her, and Maya gripped her umbrella, ready to deflect anything that he threw at her. "I see....so you must be one of the corrupt and unjust, right?"

The man looked at Maya and gave a small laugh.

"My kind fell before the Defenders began this dark desent into the unjust."

He looked down at his hands, they were scared, marked and callious. He began to laugh again as he gripped the right side of his face, pulling back as he grinned wickedly.

"We used to seek truth, now we seek to turn all of the Defenders to our cause. And then... Oh then..."

He looked at Maya as he took a staggered step towards her. He pulled down on the right side of his face, and light began to pour from his right eye. But instead of real honest to god light, it increased the darkness around them.

The battle outside wasnt going well for Allen. His armor which was once unscathed and glistened in the sun, was now dented and scratched from the now beating he was taking. The Dark Defender twirled around, and brought up a heavily armored fist, connecting with Allen's helm. Allen brought down his arm in response. They both hit at the same time, each one sending the other backwards. Only, Allen was sent back further.

He stumbled back a few steps, his opponent only stepped back once.

"You are a disgrace Platinum Eagle..."

The females voice commented to Allen.

"Come one, Come All...."

So the truth was being revealed, as she listened to him finally explain. Whatever he was, he was the cause of these so called Defenders, what Allen was, to change. And this made her think. "Are they after Allen?" But as he stopped in hi sentence, she gazed at him once more, noticing the light emitting from his eye. It was a bright light, but instead of pushing away the darkness she had created, it increased it. "What...are you?", she said, a she began to step back from him. Though she was a shadow demon, a person who can create as well as manipulate shadows and darkness, she wasn't evil. Not like this man before her. And with him moving closer t her, she figured this would end well. And besides, she could feel the battle outside the large shadow ball, and Allen wasn't doing too well. "I need to help him, but...", she turned to the unknown male, with the glowing eye.

"....if you Dare"

As the man stepped closer to Maya, even as she backed away, he gripped the skin on his face. Tighter and tighter as he spoke. This should have distorted his ability to speak, as he drew blood from his flesh from just how thightly he gripped his skin.

"Oh then, we will start a new campaign. And with the defenders aiding me. I will beable to finally free myself and not have to use these puppets to travel!"

He pulled, tearing the flesh from the right side of his face. His darklight continued to only magnify the darkness and when his skin was removed, a new fiend was revealed, underneath the flesh.

"Like a parasite, I have lived for eons. And now finally, I can start to reclaim what was taken from me!

The man that was there, was gone. Instead, something else had taken over and from within, claimed this mans life. Now, something darker was infront of Maya. Far more powerful and sinister then the noble man that was there before.

"Come one, Come All...."

Maya's eye's went wide, and she cringed at the sight before her. He was peeling his skin off, and it was just so disturbing. What was this man, or thing. She was sure that he wasn't human after such a thing. He continued to step towards her, as he drew blood from his flesh. Maya had seen some disturbing things when she stayed within the Haunted Carnival, but nothing like this, especially this close up. But as she reached the edge of the shadowed fortress, she gave a quick glance back, and then back at him, his true form revealed to her.

As she stared at this unknown creature, who was no longer the man that stood before her, Maya began to think that she was way over her head now. Such a simple illusion, diversion, would have normally spooked and rendered her victim senseless now, and it all would have been over, but not now. What would she do now? Though she was worried, she had to stay calm, and not let this....thing get to her. "And what was taken from you?", she asked, hoping to get more out of him, before deciding to leave her shadow ball and return to Allen.

"....if you Dare"

The man stopped before Maya, a disfigured arm erupted from his left shoulder. Its clawed hand slammed into the wall behind her. Darkness dripped from the arm as the, thing, brought its partially revealed face not but an inch from hers. His eye was slit instead of a round iris. His mouth laidend with fangs. He didnt have any lips yet, his new skin still growing as he grinned a terrible grin at Maya.

"Everything!"

He said as he looked Maya in the eyes. But his grin turned into a look of fear as he pulled back and began to cry out in pain. He took a few steps back from Maya and looked at her, covering his face as he spoke.

"Run! God, run and get away from here! He has taken so much, you must run!"

It would be the last time the noble man would speak. His body began to emit a light again, real light as he started to disintegrate himself from within. Trying to purge himself before the evil within took over.

"Come one, Come All...."

Maya remained within her unmovable positon, him standing before her, just inches from her face. She didn't even flonch as his hand went by her face, as he yelled out, "everything!" It sounded a bit sad, but she knew things happened for a reason. And a man, or thing, such as he, didn't seem worthy enough to have anything, especially if he was being this evil. But she stared back at him, as he stared in her eye's. But what happened next confused her. He moved back, crying in pain. She looked at him strangley, especially when he told her to run. "Run?" Maya took a step forward, watching what was unfolding before her. "But" Maya began to piece together what was occurring, and wanted to somehow help this man. But as the light began to emit from him, she moved back, grasping the umbrella that had fell upon the ground, when he slammed his hand by her head, just moments ago.

Backing up once more to the edge of the darkness ball, she began to sink into it, deciding maybe it was best to leave. But Maya couldn't help but still look upon the crouched over figure, who cried in pain. None of this made sense, even with the info this creature gave to her. She could understand the thing about the defenders, but this, him. What was going on?

Before he took control, or reverted to his evil ways, or what have you, Maya left the darkness ball, her eye's still upon the sphere. she wondered if the ball could hold him, and part of her doubted that. With her now on the outside, he turned around the ball to her back. She gazed upon Allen, his armor all scratched up. It wasn't clean and slick like it had been when she first met him. This battle between the two defenders was getting heated, as well as out of control. What was the purpose for all of this. "Allen!!! Are you alright!!!", she called to him.

Allen, on one knee was infront of the dark armored Defender. The figure stood still and towered over the hunched silver figure of Allen. With his war hammer lance at his side, Allen's head tilted downwards slightly as he waited.

"Platinum Eagle... What a joke..."

The woman infront of him commented as she stood over Allen. When Maya emerged from her dark shell from whatever it was she had done, both of the armored figures looked back at her. The dark armored Defender took a step towards Maya and Allen stood in response.

"Foul One, you shall not..."

He didnt get to finish his statement as he was pulling himself to his feet, the one Allen had commented on as being Foul One, swung her large barchaide. She caught Allen right across the helm, sending Allen tumbling to the side in a shower of sparks.

"So... He failed in killing you. If only that were a surprise."

The woman's voice called out to Maya as she took another step towards Maya.

"Come one, Come All...."

As Allen was send tumbling back, due to the dark armored individual’s weapon. Maya eye’s widened with worry as she watched it, but then turned her attention back to the dark figure, as it began to speak. It spoke of the man inside, failing to kill her, which was true, but this all confused the small shadow demon. Why was this happening, to her for that matter? “I should have stayed in the Haunted Carnival”, she said to herself. The voice seemed to call out to her, and Maya identified it as being a woman’s. Was Allen really getting himself handed by a woman? Any other time Maya would find this very entertaining, but it concerned her as well, so it was not even close to hilarious. And as the woman took a step towards her, Maya took a step back, but her back came in contact with the shadow ball that still resided behind her. She wasn’t even thinking about the man who still resided within, her mind and thoughts were only on the dark armored woman before her.

"What is this all about?”, Maya demanded. “Why are you after me, as well as him?”, she asked, referring to Allen. The man inside told her a bit, but Maya still wasn’t quite getting it. If things continued to get hectic, she had one more trick up her sleeve, and hopefully it would work. Taking a glance at Allen, she figured neither one of them could take this woman out, so a diversion would need to be created, so they could escape. Live to fight another day, as it is said.

The dark armored figure, The Foul One, stopped infront of Maya. With movement like a hamster on speed, she raised her barchaide and brought it down, pointing it's ax head tip at Maya's throat. The dark ax head glinted in the sun light but it didnt move at all as the woman held the huge weapon still.

"Its not just you, its both of you. Allen can not stay the way he is. He is the impure one, the different one now. He must either join the darkness, or die. And if you are the one that he has bonded with, the one he has sworn to serve, then you must die also. Only that will assure Allen's Death."

The woman's voice echoed through her helmet and around Maya. As the woman spoke, she brought her barchaide back with one arm, readying her strike at Maya's neck. A thunderous sound as Allen charged at the dark armored figure resounded in the now desolate and destroyed street.

"Leave her out of this! She is not the one you need to slay! I have yet to find my leige!"

Allen roared as he ran head first at the woman. He threw himself at her, sending the two armored figures tumbling again, crashing into another stand. Utterly destroying the fruit stand.

Azurah walked along the streets of the market place. She had her ship docked somewhere, and decided to take a look around the area. "Hmm. Maybe I should start selling some items around here. Might have to check out the type of people around here first."

Soon after a while, she left, in search of other places to explore.

"Come one, Come All...."

Maya stayed dead on her tracks. And even if she wanted to move, the large dark orb behind her still remained, keeping the other individual inside, and away from her. Her mind was still upon the structure, making it stand tall, holding the man within. But if one watched closely, they could see the ball faltering. Maya’s mind was now on the large armored individual before her, and there weapon right by her neck. It stated that she and he, Allen, had to be destroyed, because he was the impure one. The armored foe spoke with such certainty, and Maya saw it as just odd. Did she really think that? But her mind completely left the dark orb that stood strong behind her, it fading away now, as the armored woman began to bring her weapon down upon Maya, saying that if she died, then Allen would as well. Maya only turned her head, closing her eyes, awaiting the strike, but all she felt was wind as Allen came rushing passed, taking down the dark armored individual, shouting that she was not her liege. That was right; she was not the one he was looking for, the one he wanted to protect. A slight feel of sadness wafted over her, making her feel like all this was her fault. But it quickly receded, as she felt the orb finally dissipate, and the man who resided inside, behind her.

The grotesque figure of the man that had once been inside the orb fell to his knees. The flesh was all but gone, hanging from places where bone and muscle were clearly showing and the skin had been incinerated. Organs and blood poured from the being, an evil grin on his face, if you could call it a face. Though it wasnt even a grin, as he hand no lips. It was just how his face was now. But almost instantly he wrapped the body in a cloak of darkness and stood behind Maya, merely a silhouette of shadows. The shadow lingered then faded after a moment as Allen continued to wrestle the dark armored figure.

Though Allen didnt really wrestle with her as much as he just blocked her attacks with his weapons and armor. His once beautiful armor was now dented in many places, scratched and bent. His weapons had dings and nicks all over them from the constant blocking of the enemies weapons. It was time to go. Allen didnt want to, his body almost didnt let him, but he knew they had to. With all he had, he swung his war hammer lance across the Dark Armored woman's helm, sending her backwards.

With the moment, he turned and started towards Maya, his right arm extended to scoop her up as he ran like the wind itself carried his feet.
