She chuckled at the my room part. "I've always wanted to prove my parents wrong. They day I left, they said I wasn't worth it. And I wouldn't marry a man who was powerful. I knew someday I could prove them wrong"she said thinking about the past. She felt as though she was about to cry but she didn't. "I'm glad I have you though"she said slowly hugging Damien.

 Shinobu felt the bright warmth in her chest and when it stopped she fell to her knees. Exhaustion and sadness had made her legs slightly wobbly. "I will see in a few minutes, Shou." She said softly as tears ran down her face. She smiled as Alice gave her the flowers. "Thank you. You are very sweet." She smiled weakly as Guroji hugged her, but felt no warmth as she did when she saw Shou. She hurt all over.

"We shall be gone now. Good bye friends." Guroji said as he picked up Shinobu and started to walk back to the room. The outer old shell turned into fertile dirt as it fell off his now gleaming skin. Then, he properly gave off the energy that Shinobu needed.

Shinobu shook her head. "I need to stay a little longer, Guroji. Just in case I do have a cardiac arrest or have another arrhythmia. The chance is minimal, but it can happen. Thank you, though." She gently put her feet on the floor and sat again. She never averted her gaze from Shou. Her heart cried out with longing.

 Tired of being clueless, Shou walked to Shinobu. "I'm sorry, but, have we met before?" He asked. Usually, whenever there's someone that he'd forgotten about, he wouldn't regularly ask. But Shou felt the need to ask her.

Shinobu smiled sadly. "We met, once. It was when I was found here. Before I was mended. I saw your face before I fainted. It was a fleeting moment but it was so important to me. Without all the blood in my face you probably don't recognise me. They tend to call me Withering Petals. Maybe you heard about me. More importantly... I think I... " She broke off.

Alice stood there listening to Shinobu, as she was a little shocked in a way. Hearing her, she began to wonder. S..?...if?..

Shou didn't respond for a few seconds, remembering the scene some time ago. "How are you feeling?" He asked, somewhat worried.

Shinobu swallowed, and renewed tears ran down her face. "I know the cause of my Broken Heart Syndrome." She said softly and clutched her heart, as a small arrhytmia shook it. It wasn't as bad... "I think... I think I love you. That day I saw you... it... and when I saw you with Alice... my heart couldn't take it. I'm so sorry, Alice!" She sobbed as she turned to Alice. Her shoulders were racked uncontrollably with heavy sobs.

Alice flinched , as she was a little shocked. Alice then pulled a faint smile "N-No..It's fine...I didn't know...". Sometimes inside her began to feel heavy, but she didn't really know exactly what it was. I was the cause...of her pain...all along...and everyone else's...as usual...
Alice took a deep breath, as she didn't want to start panting like a dog "I-I have to search the castle.." she turned around, shoving her hands in her shortpockets. She stared off into space, as she began to walk through the gates into the castle, thinking deeply. It shouldn't matter...Shou's my master after all...And I'm...pretty much just a human..give or take I suppose..

Shinobu gasped for breath. "Alice, don't go..." She mumbled quietly, unsure if the girl had heard her. She could guess what the girl was thinking.

Never actually experiencing this, Shou didn't say much, at first. "Although you say that you love me, for us to be together is hard for me to see." He said, solemnly. He sighed. "The creatures in this castle, although you see them as cruel and heartless beings, can still love. Masters tend to begin to love their slaves." Shou was refering to Guroji to Shinobu. "I'm not rejecting you, but I'm merely warning you that if I fall in love with you, the same way as you do to me, you and I may have to put our lives on the line. And for you to put your life for a mere half demon, is stupidity, to my eyes."
((Goin' to be off for about four hours, starting in roughly 30 min.))

Shinobu took a deep breath. "I will not love anyone but you. I may have a master but he is not the one that makes my heart sing. I ache, and if I am correct, you seem to love Alice. I'm not easily broken. If my heart is intact the flowers can save me. And is it stupid to spend your life with the person you love? Would you rather have not risked anything and died alone and unloved or to have loved and died with your love? Does that mean, I am never to be loved? I am owned by Guroji, but while my heart exists I am yours. Because you cannot see it, does that mean you are never to be happy? I suffer... I could die, and I doubt this is the place where I will get the needed therapy. My heart is frail as it is. It will soon stop beating, because I know I will never be desired by you as my heart desires you. You are much more than a half demon. The truth is where your heart lies. Please don't tell me that love will fail between us. You do not know that..." The tears ran down her face and the next painful arrhythmia caught her. ((Okay, same. Going to have dinner. Like now. Gosh, I almost cried while typing this. Bye!))

Shou didn't say more. But felt very close to her. He sighed and again, cast the spell. My heart aches whenever one aches for mine. Something that every demon could live without. And yet, she seems to easily get hold of mine. Shinobu's chest, once again, glowed, and died down. "Rest." Shou insisted, although he himself felt his energy quickly being drained.
