Once all of the tables were out of the way Aulus dusted off his hands and moved over to Kailee. "How're you doing there?... Hu." Key pad. "I guess we need a code then?" He gave the door a push anyway just in case, because he'd feel damn silly if they spent ages looking at controls that turned out not to be needed.

Kailee worked gently with the knife and the plastic cover came off. She was expecting something. But it wasnt a keypad. Oh damn. She hated math. She was staring fixed on the key pad when she heard Aulus. She jumped slightly, "Yes, sir." Just a reaction to being startled not said in her usual sarcastic way.

She flushed and closed the knife to hand back to Agent Aulus. "Yeah... but unless you got one that we dont know about..." She blinked. "Daniel! Do you know the code?" Could it be that easy?

The door was locked and did not budge when pushed.

Pfhhh. Someone had stuck their gum down here. Well, it didn't look like it should be too much of a problem moving it. Though he wished the legs folded up and locked. Folding tables were so much easier to move about.

He got back up and gently shoved Glit, moving the Serperior off before carting it to the side, making sure not to to put his hands or fingers in fossilized gum.

Yep, locked. Aulus gave a small nod of approval to Kailee when she called for Daniel and moved out of the way slightly.

Kailee beamed slightly at the approving look from Aulus. She was making head way... right? This was wonderful news. She looked back waiting for Daniel.

Kailee, Aulus

Daniel crossed over the room, nodding as he spoke, "Oh yeah. Uh, not because I'm anyone important or anything, don't go thinking that, just that one of the guys who was here before told me the code in case I needed it." He approached the panel and slipped his fingers partway under the bandaging on the back of his head to scratch briefly, his other hand hovering in front of the numbers. "Uhhhh I've never been in here though... Never actually tried the code, I mean, so sorry if this doesn't..."

He gradually typed out a series of fifteen numbers, muttering them under his breath as he did and pausing occasionally, restarting partway through once.

Eventually, a bar of green light illuminated at the bottom of the panel, and the door slid open and retreated into the wall from the left, only to reveal a second door which did the same from the right, and finally a third door which lifted itself into the ceiling.

Kailee smiled encouragingly to the man. Well she felt happy now. Aulus approved and so she was making friends! And then the door opening was as easy as asking the guy to come open the door. She glanced to Aulus as he was right there. In they went... and if these doors shut she would be terrified and wouldnt be able to be saved by a stampeding larion... No matter how strong that pokemon was.

She bit her lip and then looked to Daniel. "Thank you." And then she took a breath... if it was booby trapped better her die then someone already fully trained to agent right. So she stepped into the room and waited for the worst.

Aulus watched the doors slide aside with satisfaction; good job they'd brought the guy along. "Going in," he said over his shoulder to Faleen and Alex. "Tama, Lex, c'mon. You too Tortie." What Tam did was up to her. "Oh... any traps in here by the way Daniel?" Extending one end of his staff again Aulus moved forward cautiously. "Careful there Kailee, watch your step," he added to the grunt ahead of him; last thing he wanted was for her to get hurt or killed on his watch.

Tortie hopped down from her table with a splash and padded forward to her trainer's side.

Paul kept holding onto the flashlight despite the light ahead, just in case he was supposed to.

"Don't die," Hayes called from the depths of a computer.

Three layered door... That made sense if this was a high security area... and with all the tech about in this room, that seemed confirmed enough.

Tambrey decided to tag along, behind Tama and Lex; she wasn't a techie, and she had to admit she was curious about whatever was in this next room.
Plus, despite Aulus and the others being ahead of her, she was kind of worried that Kailee had just... stepped into a high security area before Aulus had asked about traps... and thought that at least there were more people to help out this way.

When the tables were out of the way, Tama praised Tiamat as he watched Aulus and Kailee work on the door. He then watched as Daniel worked on the panel and the door slid open.

When he was called, he nodded and walked behind Aulus.

"Sir, no sir," Aulus replied dryly, a little smile tugging at his lips for just a moment.

Lex set the table down and started after Aulus and Kailee and withheld a snicker at Hayes deadpan advice. It was amusing and yet, he had a very important point considering all the dead bodies on the ship.

Glit grumbled and followed, gliding through the occasional puddle. Howl had to hop skip, the room not big enough to fly, and awkward when forced to walk.

Kailee, Aulus, Tama, Lex, Tambrey

"Uh, shouldn't be," Daniel said with a thoughtful frown. "Unless the last guys that were in here, uh, set something up."

The room beyond seemed to have full electricity, its white tile floors and metal walls a bit dull from lack of care, and the ceiling bowed steeply in places, but otherwise nicely illuminated. In the center of the room stood a massive computing console, the three wide monitors that were connected to it displaying an idle animation of slowly shifting amorphous shapes.

On the north side of the room was what appeared to be a large power source, though it didn't seem that its purpose was to power the excessively sized computer. Instead, the only thing attached to it was what by all rights might as well have been a two-foot-tall Volbeat sculpture. A fallen ceiling panel, likely dislodged by the crash, had struck the thing upon its head, denting its shape and tilting it off of its fastening so violently that part of it had ripped off, leaving a mess of wires and tiny, snapped electronic parts.

On the south side, around a corner and concealed from the entrance by a wall, was a machine of astonishing proportions compared to everything else the Rockets had discovered thus far.
