"Just had an accident. It's really nothing."
"That is some sorta 'accident.' Do you need help walking or anything?" Otogi asked quickly.
"Geez Otogi, my hand is hurt - not my leg. I'm just going to go sit down." Malik replied. His head still ached from the yelling, and he'd be lying if he didn't admit to himself that the cuts hurt like hell. As he walked past the dice boy he snatched on of the soda's out of Otogi's hands with his own uninjured one, before finding a vacant bench to sit at. He leaned against the wall and waited patiently for Jounouchi.

Jounouchi soon returned with an employee and a first aide kid.
"Are you okay sir? Do you need me to call an ambulence?" the frantic employee asked with concern evident in his voice-his pay must've been riding on the satisfaction of the customers.

Malik looked irritated that Jounouchi had actually brought somebody over. Not that he didn't appreciate being pampered, he'd just rather keep other people out of his business. He threw Jounouchi a harsh look, that said rather clearly 'why the hell did you bring HIM here?!'
"I'm really fine - thanks for asking." The Egyptian said forcing the kind words out to the best of his ability, "But I don't need help, just your first aid kit would be fine."

Jounouchi immediatly threw Malik back an apologetic look that said, "He insisted on coming...!"
"A-are you sure sir...?" the employee stuttered out nervously.

Before Malik could respond to Jounouchi the stuttering man had cut him off. Rather than throw something at him (Which is what he wanted to do) he cleared his throat and put on his best smile. "I'm pretty sure. Thank you." He reassured the man with his (creepy) nice guy smile. "Don't worry, I won't tell anybody. At least if you stop irritating me, I'll try to put in a good word. If not... well, let's just say my hand isn't going to be the other thing injured." Malik grinned calmly. The blood from his hand created another stain on the floor as it dripped slowly down his fingertips.
((Hahaha nice employee character Kitsune... XD; )

The young employee made a strange "eep" noise before quickly scampering off.
Jounouchi rolled his eyes with a light grin on his face, "I think you overdid it a bit... that guy looked like he was about to piss himself." he said, opening the first aide kit.

Malik shrugged, trying to hide the mad grin that had twisted it's way on his own face, "Gotta use the old skills once in awhile. I have to admit my manipulation skills are a tad rusty though." He stuck out his arm with his bloodied hand to Jounouchi. "Oh and... I'm sorry about this.... "
((No, I wasn't. He's cute and stupid. I HAVE A MAD CRUSH ON HIM. - AWRIGHT the second part was sarcastic. I'm sorry I just confused myself... O_o)

"Don't worry about it..." Jounouchi said, "Though you really should consider avoiding mirrors for a while..." he joked, taking out some tweezers to pull the glass shards out.

Malik winced a bit when the glass was being pulled out of his hands. "I guess so." He looked around for a moment remembering what Otogi had said. "Hey... did you hear that Otogi is having a party or something? That'd be fun to go to, right? Funner than this stupid arcade anyway..."

"This arcade isn't stupid!" Jounouchi said defensively, "I love it here. But I wouldn't mind going to a party either." he shrugged, now working on cleaning the cuts. He had done this so often that it was almost like second-nature, where he was hardly paying attention to what he was doing.

Jounouchi shrugged as he bandaged Malik's hand, "I've come here ever since I can remember... it was always the place I like to come to if things got too rough, because none of the other guys would bother coming here... they thought it was too "goody-goody" for their tastes." he rolled his eyes, not realizing that he was talking about people who Malik probably had no clue about, Hirutani and the other old gang members. "It was kind of like a safe-haven to me, and now that I'm friends with other people who like games, it's more like a place to hang out and have fun."

"Oh... " Malik was going to say it looked childish to him. He liked games too, but he wasn't too fond of the lack of sophistication this place had. Of course, that was a problem with duel monsters too. Many of the players were young, annoying little kids. Perhaps that was another reason he had given up the hobby. "Your old friends didn't approve then?"

Jounouchi blinked, "Old friends?" then he realized what Malik meant, "Oh. "he laughed nervously, "Forgot you don't know about them. They're not exactly "friends..." just a group I used to hang out with. No, they didn't like places like this unless they were coming to steal or pick on people..." he said bitterly, "There, your hand's all fixed up again." he smiled, glad for a reason to change the subject.

"In other words... you hung out with bullies." Malik said, with an eyebrow raised. "Looks like we aren't so different after all." He tried to hide the smug reaction this knowledge had given him. He looked over his hand, it seemed fine. Unwilling to change the subject, he continued, "That's interesting, isn't it Jounouchi?"
