Flames licked at his shield, causing it to waver, before finally bursting, sending the man sprawling. Already he was drawing too much from the castle, nausea taking hold, images of death dragged to the forefront of his mind. A young man, with cankerous skin, bleeds on the side of the road, people passing him by, ignoring the poor thing.. His assailants crowd around, smiling, laughing even as they kick him, relaxing his bowels. A creature, barely human at all, flees from its hunters. Covered in blood it flees, leaving an obvious trail in the brush. The hunters followed it for many hours, not able to leave it be after what it had done. The hunters came to a clearing, only to be jumped upon by numerous hairless, misshapen things. The ghouls were pinkish in color, though moss did grow on many of them, they secreted a oily liquid, smelling like rotten meat. They were devourers of carrion, but they preferred fresher meat.. Broken bones remained, not even the marrow escaping the feast. These and many more images flooded the already stressed mind of Dieter, shutting him down momentarily, upon the floor, immobile.
This would have consequences for any others in the room, filling them with the destructive magicks of undeath. To any of those unskilled in the art of necromancy, the results would be painful.

Sila was trying her hardest to keep her aim straight, but she realized she couldnt shot the arrow after her arms collapsed. She was in so much pain, she couldnt think of anything else. " How pitiful... I cont purify the one thing, the one person who tried to kill me" She said weakly, and smiled in weakness. She dropped the arrow, unable to pick it up once more, and then limped over to the man while heavily leaning on her bow she dropped a glowing liquid within a bottle near his neck. It glowed, a sudden peircing scream echoed in the room then souls began to swirl around Deiter. Hopfully this wont hurt.. though there is no promise of that" She mumbled and then limped away, out of the room they had completely destroyed and began to look for a stair case to get out of the castle, tears in her eyes. ' Am I weak Spirit?' she asked, and tried to hide the tears of pain she could hold back no longer. "Your not weak, just merely too young to truely understand everything. Now come child, let me take over so I may get us out of this place before those demons break down the door" She cooed to Sila, and Sila nodded and let her soul lose control of her very body and rest.
Spirit opened her eyes and looked around. Sila had indeed done a number on herself, and she gave away her only healing potion to the man...which was frusterating. She sighed and leaned on the bow, but not as heavily as Sila had. Spirit was much stronger and while Sila used up all her strength in fighting and pulling herself together to beat away her fear and insecurity Spirit was only just beginning. " Dont fret child, your body will live on " Spirit whispered and placed a hand over Sil'a heart. She wished she could heal this body, but even she had restraints on what she could and could not do. One of which was the inability to heal ones self with Spirit's power. " Dam him, placing me in this realm, putting restraints on MY power, I will get him for this. " She growled in furry. Though her past was never discovered, only Origin knew who she really was.

The city was a war zone, the bestial, wild attacks of the demons a perfect contrast to the slow treaded pace of the undead, devoid of passion and all emotion, thoughtless as they attacked the demons. The battle for the city was in full swing, both sides taking heavy losses. This was a battle that the living god could not hope to win, all of the city's reserves now depleted. In every street the battle raged, and no place was left untouched. Already fires raged untended by the uncaring armies, and ashes rained down on the fair city..

Dieter lay, dreaming of better days, locked away in his lab, uncaring of the actions of others, uncaring of the political games he played for survival. These dreams could not last however, and a change in the aether jolted the necromancer to wakefulness. He was surrounded by mournful spirits, each and every one seeking his demise. They almost succeeded, pulling at his soul, fragmenting it, hurting it. With a yell, they were commanded to die, and so they did, feeding the young deity with their transition into nonexistence.
Staggering, the pale male sought something, anything that could aid him fight or escape the approaching host. He knew his puppets could not hold forever, and there had to be some solution to this problem.

Spirit grumbled to herself as she managed to make it onto the bottom floor of the castle. She was almost too lost in thought to notice the riseing stench of death and rot. She scrunched up her nose. Looking around with her glowing golden eyes she realized that no guard, no human either alive nor dead had come in contact with her since she had left the dieing Necromancer's chamber. She looked around she instantly picked up the scent of a rotting stench breath... She looked down and smirked. " here little demon, come. Follow my voice" She mocked never looking up from the floor.
Only a few moments passed before a demon lept infront of her on all fours. It gave a loud roar and she looked up, as if board. He brought one of his eyes to look the girl over and then Spirit smirked and looked into his eyes, right back. " your going to serve my purpose just fine." She then lashed out her hand and flames suddenly erupted and consumed the beast. It howled in pain as it tried to dislodged the flames from its burning flesh. It then gave in to the flames that licked his very bones clean. When sudden darkness seeped through the floor and encased the chared bones of the beast to renew him. He stood up, his forearms now much longer and dragged on the floor. his torso seemed ripped into two and starved with its skinny bone ridden appearance. It had no eyes, no mouth, no nose either, it was just a black body, animated by mere darkness and power of Spirit.
She smiled, as if excited to be reunited with a long lost lover. She ran over and hugged the thing. " Oh, there is my little pet" She cooed and the was lifted and placed on his shoulder with one of his long and large forearms. He then handed her the bow she dropped and then made its way twords the exit of the castle.

Coming upon his room, Dieter came to a horrifying realization, daemons had penetrated the castle. Their leavings were everywhere, from the torn bodies of his servants, to the scorch marks of their vicious assault. Death stalked the hallways, and Dieter promised himself to master it, to kill it, control it. A different aura called to him, not entirely unlike the ghosts he conjured on a regular basis, but strangely alive. Its presence beckoned to him, its form familiar, tainted with the blood of the fell. Two others were with this strange thing, an undead demon, and the one who had healed him, before attempting to murder him. He had to know what this thing was, who could reanimate the bones of the demons who plagued him so, something that he could only manage in rare, controlled circumstances. He had to obtain this knowledge, and the only way he could logically obtain it was by tearing it from the thing's very soul.
The Carrion God went towards these intruders, detached from the frail flesh. A shriek came from its beak as it came before them, darker magics crackling around its body. Not moving its mouth, the thing spoke, words like wet, sliding meat coming from the walls, "Leaving are we? How very rude.." Blueish lights danced around the creature, eyes glowing as the shadowy body seemed to fade in and out of reality. It floated a few feet off of the ground, as the four arms were hanging downwards, approximation of palms facing outwards. Whispers issued forwards, "Repent.. Repent.. Repent.." getting louder and louder with each repetition. With each word spoken by the unseen voices, the air grew steadily colder, as indistinct shapes danced and cavorted in the periphery of vision. There would be no respite.

The large animated body stopped in its tracks and slowly turned around as the Carrion god suddenly showed up. Spirit chuckled as she saw him, crossing her arms and looked down at him. " your host abilities were terrible, We will come again when you learn to thank your saviors. " She taunted, an evil grin appearing upon her face, she had hopped the god would show up, she had been forced to flee the last time, he wouldnt be so lucky this time.
The shadow possessed beast raised up one of its large forearms and brought it down ontop the ghoustly figure as if to crush, when suddenly his "fingers" turned into sharp black knives and dug into the ground below. An ink like substance seemed to drip off the beast as it moved sharply, the taint eating away what ever it touched, then hissed out of exsistance as if to have evaporated. The beast the gripped the railing of the second floor and lifted itself and it's master up and above, it seemed to want to go through a shattered window that was just slightly smaller then itself. The window only feet away from it.

The creature narrowly dodged the dripping black substance, before replying "You can't leave yet, the show is only beginning." The bird headed god floated up, behind the daemon. A whip of magical energy crackled towards the foul beast, accompanied by screaming pleas for mercy, release. Should it strike, the undead demon would be seared, link to the female broken, rendering it prone to outside intrusion. Simultaneously an assault upon the female's mind began, attempting to shatter her sanity, to make it simple to sift through her memories, find what he needed. The god knew now what the strange thing about the female was, the simple fact that she was two people at the same time. The simple fact that this was the spy, the attacker, the worker of the rebele.

Spirit turned around just in time to see something lash into the back of her minion. the creature sudden bellow in serve pain. the black liquid suddenly parted to allow the beast to cry out. Spirit gritted her teeth as her temporary resurrection was now being sent back into the dark abyss. She screamed in such anger as she watched. The creature then began to plummet to the floor below, Spirit managed to move Sila's body, and jump off the beast and land on the banister of the second story. She watched as her precious pet splattered the black liquid everywhere, coating the entire floor and began to make a loud hissing noise as the black stuff suddenly began to dissolve and eat away part of the floor. The bones were all that was left of the original body of the demon, but the too dissolved into nothing with the black liquid. She turned to the god, with such furry in her eyes, but then stumbled back as she felt something sifting through the memories of her hostesses body. SHe held her head, gritting her teeth and kneeling upon the ground.
She could see Sila as a young child, screaming for her older sister to come back as the cloaked man took her away, her sister Na-Nel looked back with a sad face then turned away and disappeared. Then Sila was leading the group of survivors to the rebele, A child had fallen infront of her and she quickly went to pick her up. She was crying out, the child, and Sila soothed her by prying into her innocent mind and easeing her pain with her golden touch.
Spirit then opened her eyes, now pure red, with a golden slit for pupils which stared dangeriously at the Carrion god. " enough!" She yelled, the echoing voice suddenly seething with a new sort of power. Just before the god could find out where the Rebele hid, Spirit put up a heavy barrier to keep him out, she was beyond angery now, and flames began to lick at the souls of her feet out of no where. Wind howled just outside the house as if a giant storm were upon them, and it even grew dark out there just above the castle. Spirit began to laugh, Sila's once innocent face now distorted into an evil grin, and she pointed at the bird faced god. " your a fool for stopping me, now I am going to thrash you to pieces" She laughed, the laughing echoed with sudden screaming souls of those once tortured to the point of death. She brought out the bow Sila used to often, the black liquid now seemed to swallow up to bow and turn it asheen colored black though at the bottom dripped the tar like substance. She then brought out a black arrow, in which allow looked coated with the tar, making it impossible to see what element the arrow came from. The slitted eyes of Spirit seemed to pulse as she drew back the arrow, ready to launch her mysterious attack at the god, smirking and laughing the entire time.

The attack aimed at the god was enough of a reason to withdraw into the spaces between spaces for the moment. The bird headed creature disappeared, unseen, though the signs of its evil existence were everywhere. The voices still whispered, the air still froze, bitter chill covering the walls and floor with icy strands of white. Though she had forced him into hiding for the moment, Dieter could not resist a dramatic flourish. "You fight a god so bravely. Tell me, do you do this out of care for your host?" The ghostly image of the human for of the necromancer strolled past the female, a wide grin upon his face. When he came behind the female, the image suddenly became reality, the living flesh standing there, behind the female, his soul looming behind him, partially out of his back, towering over the whole event. The man, on a brief moment of humorous impulse spread his arms, inviting the attack, "Kill me if you will.." He thought that she might not, her other self stopping the currant queen of the body.. She seemed unable to kill for some reason or another. The spirit had left sight for the moment, leaving the pale male standing there, manic grin upon his face, eyes glittering brightly, constellations staring outwards. The whispers had stopped completely, leaving a pregnant moment of silence. Such glorious theatrics were Dieter's game and passion, an actor with the world his stage. A foolish notion of trust had taken hold of his mind, a belief in human nature..

Fang arrived within the city in a matter of hours after leaving the Rebele. She didnt like what she saw either, the stench of a newly fought battle hung in the air. She frowned and looked to Fang, " looks like we came a little too late for the party" She said with a grimace. When a demon suddenly launch from above, Na-Nel nmerely looked up, then suddenly vanished like a ghoust, Fang suddenly launch up and chomped down on the surprised demon. There was not even enough time for the demon to let out a surprised yelp. Fang had the demon chomped, gulped and turned into ash in about the amount of time it took for a human to take a deep breath of air.
Na-Nel chuckled as Fang looked at her with satisfaction, and eager for more. " well I'm sure there will be more." She reassured him. Fang gave a noise sounding like an excited yes. She chuckled as the came to the side of the castle, there seemed to be things happening within. She frowned. " well lets go Fang" She sighed and vanished once more.
Fang suddenly burst through the floor just below the Spirit possessed girl. He bellowed as she moved out of the way. Na-Nel smirked as she appeared to be sitting on a shelf above this. Spirit looked at her as if she were mortified and disappointed. " yea, you know why I'm here. I think its time for you to return that body to that girl you've possessed there Spirit." She mocked and smirked, the markings on her chest glowing brightly, the skulls seemed to look like they were alive. Na-Nel turned and crossed her arms, ignoring the bird headed thing.

Spirit had just been about to shoot when a rumbling suddenly took place under her feet, a sudden frusteration over took her and she just barly make it out of hthe way of Fang the snake Na-Nel suddenly tried to swallow her up. She grited her teeth and turned to look at the calm set girl she mocked her openly. " Watch yourself, Who is the one who supplies you with such gifts" She sneered, She backed away, not wanting to relinquish her control on this body, but Na-Nel was summoning her back into her mind. Spirit screamed in frusteration and was ripped from Sila's body. and Sila's body went limp on the ground. Almost as if she were dead.

From beneath the possessed one came a massive serpent, followed by another watching the scene from a nearby empty shelf. The attacked dodged admirably, with uncommon speed. The thing possessing the priestess, was apparently called 'Spirit', which in all honesty did not exactly tell him much. The necromancer's reaction was quite predictable considering the somewhat confusing circumstances, silence. His wide grin disappeared, arms slowly coming back to their resting positions. The concentrated death magic that he employed ebbed away, leaving only the natural winds that permeated this castle of Hades. When the one who had tried to kill him screeched her last, the seemingly dead body flopped to the ground, limp as a rag doll.
The pale male walked towards the fallen body, careful to keep the large snake in his view at all times. When he was in arms length of the body, he slowly, so as to make the others aware of his beneficent intentions, kneeled and picked up her arm and checked her heartbeat. It was faint, but steady; Dieter then dropped her arm and stood up feeling at a loss of what to do. He couldn't kill her, he could not get rid of her, for the demonic incursion pretty much guaranteed that he would be stuck in his castle for a while, and in all honesty, he did not know what afflicted her, so moving her was probably out of the option. "So," he said, turning his attention to the one who had wrought this confusion, "What just happened?"

Na-Nel turned and finally noticed a man walk up to the woman possessed, he seemed to check if she was still breathing, she would have told him she was fine... but he seemed to figure it out on his own. She frowned when he spoke to her. " I dont know, why dont YOU tell me, what is going on?" She spoke harshly. She lept off her perch, but the vanished like she always did and was soon standing next to the young man, she walked over and turned the girl over onto her back and then laid a soft hand on her forehead, a soft white glow emmitting from her palm to help heal the wounded girl. She placed her other hand on the ground and flashes of the things living around her in which she sucked the life from, flashed before her eyes. She flinched when one demon died, but did nothing else.
Fang growled, tightening up he coiled himself as if not trusting this young man, Na-Nel frowned. She didnt like this kind of situation... she looked up to the man, " Look, Some how this girl managed to become possessed by a very powerful entity... one which happens to be a supplier of mine, She some how found her way into that connection and contacted me when Spirit over did it with her body, nearly sending her soul into a far abyss which would be far worse then any Hell you could imagine" She explained quickly, keeping her eye on Fang. If he struck she would move herself and the unconscious girl out of harms way without a second thought. ' Trust me on that, I would know' She thought the images of facing the real Spirit flashed into her mind quickly. " Anyways," She stood up, Dolus, unsheathed and pointed to the man. " your turn, who are you, why are you here, what do you know of this girl?" She smirked, her eyes suddenly slitting ever so slowly, she was activating something within her eyes, something that would see if he were lieing or not to her, she didnt take too kindly to liars.

When the female replied so rudely, he said nothing, the silence his only reply. Then she appeared next to him, and that was all it took to make him gasp, nearly falling down in the process. The entire situation was putting the mage on edge, he was not in control, and even worse, he did not even know what was happening. Na-Nel appeared to be healing Sila with the same energy that the priestess herself used, likely pointing to some sort of connection between the two, since such powers were a rarity at best. The serpent, something that Dieter found strange, he did not know that snakes could growl. He decided put it off to its particular species when the female began to explain what was happening, the story was a bit strange, but he found himself believing it, in no small part because of the weapon pointed at him. To her rapid questions he said, "Dieter Stefan Heydrich, I live here, and nothing besides her interesting abilities.." She seemed to become more snake like by the minute, an effect which caused the necromancer to take a few steps backwards, out of harm's way.

Na-Nel watched him, rather entertained by his reaction. She did not lower her weapon though, She had sworn she had seen a bird head demon... but suddenly it disappeared when he showed up, along with the other fact that he smelled of cemetary soil and death. She frowned as she considered the possibilitys, she didnt like the idea of him being a necromancer surrounded by dead bodies...
She decided to keep it civil though, and slice his head off is he were to suddenly attack, but from his answers he seemed to be telling the truth. " well then.." She kept her slitted eyes upon him as she sheathed the unawakened Dolus and then looked down at the girl, something seemed familular about her. " if she is no friend to you. why did you not kill her?" She questioned her slit eyes could feel her soul slowly yet surly making its way back into her body. She was curious as to what had been going on, before she got involved. Unfortunatly she was no investigator.
Fang slithered over and rose above the rather frieghtened looking man. His forked tongue flickered in and out quickly as he looked around himself and Na-Nel for any sort of prey. the air seemed to turn to ash and sprinkle down below as he did so. Suddenly he caught something and slithered off to go persue it. Na-Nel laughed and turned to explain as she could see the confusion in his face. " he is my familular. Neither flesh nor dead. He isnt too big on dead walkers, so excuse him for not wishing to stay to close to you.... To him, you smell of Cemetary soil and rotten flesh. " She shrugged, talking casually as if there was not any tension between the two. When she heard a loud clash and she shook her head. " Looks like he just caught a very large rat" She humored, then stepped twords him, her eyes no longer slitted and to held out her hand. " my apoligize for intruding upon your castle. My name is Na-Nel." She offered her name to be polite.
