"Be my guest." Erik smiled softly at the girl then looked at John's gun. "Are you planning on shooting me if I jump?" he asked with a depressed look on his face. He just learned that his loved ones were dead. Death was a welcome friend right now.

"if i do will you fall the other way' he said pointing it at a spot were if he shot it would not kill him "life is cruel but it will go on with or without you are you ready or are you not"

A sad smirk escaped Erik's lips. "What is the point of living if there's nothing to live for?" he asked softly and began to walk off the edge.

Melody rolled her eyes. Geez. You guys are bringing me down. Lighten up. She had made the water below to rise and had some flow around her in a spiral ready to use if something takes a turn for the worst.

"Please," he muttered and let his violet aura flare out, in case anyone tried to stop him. "Just let me die." he whispered and jumped off the cliff.

Erik glared at John, his emerald green eye turning blood red. "Use it for what? Feeling nothing but pain every aching minute?" he growled and pushed John out of the way.

Melody smiled since he was safe but still felt bad for him. Her hair streaked black with guilt and she jumped off the edge. She landed in the water and her hair turned blue with the black streaks still in tact. Melody swam near the shore and sat on a rock to watch to make sure he was alright. She kept her tail in the water and calmed the waves once again.

"start a new life get a new girl do your dreams"he said geting back up form the ground

"Then find their tombstones around the world, and you don't even know what happened, or get to say good-bye." Erik mumbled and rested his forehead on his hand.

"i did not say good bye to my father hell there is nothing left of his body and my old girl i said good bye to when she was in a body bag" he puting the gun up and pulling out her dogtags

Erik didn't say anything. He got up and dusted himself off. "Congratulations," he muttered and began to walk away. "Your life is obviously worse than mine."

Melody could hear them and sighed. She had been the one to kill her own brother but it was an accident and he wasn't her real brother. He was human when her siren side was awoken and she couldn't control her hunger. She jumped back in the water to calm down a bit.
