"And let there be light," Lex quipped slightly, enjoying the illumination. He looked around, shutting off his flashlight as he stepped deeper inside. He looked up, eyeing the ceiling a bit wary, but it looked like it would hold.

He wasn't a tech, so he ignored the computers, walking south, since it had the biggest thing, right there.

As Aulus stepped into the well lit room he let out a low whistle, reaching up to turn off the flashlight Paul gripped as he fully studied their surroundings.

After a moment to take it all in, including the bigass computer around the corner, he said; "Don't fiddle with any controls if you don't know what you're doing," and headed back out into the other room. "Hayes, Faleen, you'll want to see this s**t," he said with a jerk of his thumb in the direction of the other room. "I think we found that central room you were after."

Well this felt... This actually felt a little more homely, Tambrey thought.
White floors, metal walls, weird machines and powerful looking computers and stuff... This needed a few more specialised machines and some growth tanks, but, apart from that, to her, it looked like a rather nice laboratory.

Lit too...

She snorted a little at Lex's comment.
"Good condition apart from that... gaudy smashed thing... Computers look like they're still on?"

Well... she hadnt died. Ten points! She breathed easier when Daniel said there shouldnt be anything trapped unless someone else did it. Well still better chances that there werent. She looked around when her eyes had adjusted. Going from dark and Dim to Astonishing light with white walls and floors was a drastic change. She gaped though. "Think thats something that we should be telling people to come back for?" That huge computer? She moved toward it. Aulus said stop. So she did.

She smiled and turned away moving more toward the powersource and the small statue. Why was this so important to be plugged in? She looked to the others. What happened when you unplug it? She waited for further instruction though. But with them all crowding in she had more of a want to get out.

"Wow... those Galactics don't like to think little, do they?" He mused to no one in particular as he stepped into the large room with the large computers.

Since he wasn't a techie, he just walked around the perimeter of the room for anything else that could be useful or important.

Faleen assisted quietly getting the last of the hard drives, glancing over as the rest of the group moved in, only for Aulus to called out to them a couple of seconds later that they should see something in the next room.

Glancing over at Hayes and waiting for him to finish up, before she too moved to the next room. Absol pouncing after her.

"Serious?" Hayes looked up from the far end of the room. "Just a sec. Uh.." There hadn't been many computers at all; the tech had just bagged the last one and, after a moment, found space for it in the interior pockets of his coat. His expression was probably the closest to cheery it had been all mission as he sloshed toward Aulus, careful of the icy high end of the room.

Gripping the doorframe, he peered in, and his face lit up. "Ah, yeah," he breathed, and grinned at Faleen. "I'll check out the mainframe?" he suggested, jerking a thumb in the direction of the big computer.

"Bigger is better seemed to be Deimos thing. And the pokemon theme." Lex replied to Tama and looked over the giant thing. "What is it?"

It was good to see Alex looking (mainly) happy again after... yeah, that. Aulus glanced over his shoulder at Char and the offending Chatot before heading back to the well lit room. As he didn't think he was going to have anything useful to contribute he lurked in the doorway rather than going all the way in, keeping his eyes on the entrance in case anything somehow snuck past the watch Char had on the stairs... by coming out of a hidden vent for example. He was listening to what was going on behind him though, just in case he was needed after all.

Ahhh this was much more like it! Faleen though, stepping around the room to look it over, with a significant peak of interest.
At Hayes' words Faleen nodded to him "See what you can find out,"
This also prompted her to address the rest of the team
"Please be careful about touching anything in here." Faleen told the non techies of the room.
"I would be more comfortable if you didn't until Hayes or I took a look at it first."

She took her time in examining the workings of the room, from the power source that grabbed her attention right away, and the curious little sculpture of some kind of bug pokemon sitting on top of it just barely off of being straight.

Her breath was taken away completely however as she found her way around the corner, and something massive, and obviously mechanical was sitting in a huge room.
"Oh hello, beautiful, and what were they building you for." She said, with interest, advancing a little further into the room.
"Daniel, do you know what this is?"

Tortie followed her trainer out and then back again patiently. When he stopped in the doorway she sat down beside him and lent slightly against his leg, offering warmth and reassurance. When the fingers of his free hand came down to tangle in her mane she gave him a nudge in response. she muttered. Sometimes she wished he could understand her; now was one of those times. She was here though and that was what mattered most.

Volbeat

The Volbeat-shaped thing, upon closer inspection, appeared to be more a piece of electronics than a sculpture; part of its bottom section was made of glass and looked as though it had once had the capacity to light up, though now the glass was cracked and dark. The rest of its workings were concealed in its pokemon-inspired case.

Big a** Machine (tm)

The thing was taller than any of the Rockets, possibly taller than double the height of their tallest, and was made of hard, heavy gray metal. It was long like a train car, bulky, and segmented in places. Daniel came around the corner to reply to Faleen as she asked about its nature, "Oh, uh, this is one of the engines. There are a couple more, but, uh, with the crash and all, I don't think you can get to them now."

Engines and computers and gaudy Volbeat thingies... and Faleen was requesting they not touch things, which suited Tambrey fine.
She didn't really have an inkling what any of this stuff could really do or what might or might not 'hurt it'...

So she turned to join Aulus and Tortie near the door, her own pokémon now recalled until further notice.
"Penny f'r 'em?"

[Room Y - omg giant computer]

Finally, something more than the scraps they'd been gathering. Hayes gave the power supply and Volbeat statue a once-over, but they were more Faleen's thing - as was whatever it was around the corner that had just made her day; she didn't talk like that for software-- oh, an engine. Definitely more her thing.

Leaving the agent to handle the hardware, the programmer approached the big computer and, after giving it a once-over to locate any external ports and drives, tapped a key to bring it out of sleep.

"I've always wondered how this thing worked." Lex looked at the engine, head tipped. "Thought turbines." He left it alone and moved away to look at the computer monitors. "Is it okay if I touch one of the mice to see what is on the monitors?" He called.
