After leading Kaden to the study for some cigars and some congradulatory words he led him to the dinning hall. He sent for Jaden. "Get everyone in the castle in here tonight! Everyone must be here to celebrate!" He said. When Raylana got there Kaden was sitting at the King's right hand with a cigar in his hand, looking rather cinister with his tired eyes creating shadows on his face.

raylana walked about five feet from the two and curtseyed then sat at kadens right, her eyes downcast. she was used to playing this role

He tried to retain his dark appearance while Raylana sat down next to him. Her scent made it's way to him through the cigar smoke. The king raised a glass. "To Prince Kaden and my daughter!" He said and took a large swig. Kaden raised his glass and drank, ignoring Raylana.

raylana remained downcast and raised her glass but lower then sipped it. she remained silent

"So we should begin the wedding plans eh?" said the king heartily to Kaden. "Perhaps we can send for your family?"
"I have no family left. The sooner the wedding as possible though. I can't be to long gone from my people." He said gruffly.

raylana stayed silent, she hated not being involved but she knew better than to speak up

"Of course, of course. What sort of wedding shall it be?" The King mused.
"I will of course need time to think on this. It has been a long day, I think I will retire to my room." Kaden said. "Your magesty, My lady," He said to both and he walked away. The king motioned for Raylana to sit beside him.

raylana slid next to her father as he beckoned. she never looked either in the eyes

"Congadulations daughter." He said solumnly. "Now, we must make sure he is not to change his mind. I trust you have not dishonored me thus far, and you must continue else we run the risk of him tiring of you." He sipped at the wine, not looking at her but at his steak.

she nodded slightly "i promise father" she said quietly. "i will not dishoner you, if you would exuse me i do not feel quite well yet and i wish to lay down and rest a while"

The King grunted in consent. He continued to take in his food.
Kaden was in his room looking out the window searching the skys for nothing at all.

He opened the door, looked down the hall and let her in the door, locking it behind. "Are you alright?" He asked wrapping his arms around her.

she blushed at his touch but stepped willingly into his arms. "yes" she said quietly. "im fine, you?" she looked up at him with concern in her eyes, it had been such a changed at dinner
