Just relaxing and enjoying my weekend. Watched Mary Poppins earlier this afternoon with my Mom.

Off to eat dinner.

@ Jax: I have it on VHS, but Dad, awhile back, decided to make copies of the films to have on his computer, just in case the VHS tapes broke or whatever. We don't have a VHS player anymore, that I know of. So... it was off of Dad's computer that we watched it.

Just finished catching up on my journal entries.

It's sort of amusing when I write in my journal now a days, because in the back of my mind, I always try to imagine what will become of all of the records I've written. I wonder whether my entries will become a new historical novel of sorts for future generations to read... especially if I become famous - or at least, well-known - for publishing books (which I hope will be the case). *shrugs*

*looks through pictures of the Ice Skating event that took place yesterday* Yeah, I'm actually glad that I didn't go to that event. Sure, I would have loved to go ice skating for free, but I didn't want to go to an event where I wouldn't know anyone. In fact, there's only two people I recognized in the pictures... and they're not even people I'm that close to. Certainly aren't people that would automatically let me into their little groups; I only know that because of past events I've been to. *sighs* That's probably one thing I miss that occurred at my community college events - people welcoming the loners (like me) into their groups even if we don't even know a single thing about each other. I haven't really found anyone who has done that for me at the university I'm attending.

Plus with the events that took place last night... I don't think I would be in the mood for ice skating. Especially since I just wanted to get home as soon as my shift was over.

Well... I'm off to watch a movie with my parents.

((This thread is very helpful when it comes to catching up on my journal entries, because of all my ramblings of the various events and occasions that take place during my day, lol. Plus it helps me remember what feelings I had for certain things that I may have forgotten mostly about.))
