"If time runs out then me and you WILL," he said glancing at the officer, "go looking for him." He turned to the officer now. "You can't give any more time?" any soldier around would think he was making an order, only the officer would catch the slight tone of him pleading.

"I can't." Demi hiccuped, clenching her fists together. "The Sazabi can't fly out in these conditions when we're so close to Earth. Didn't you hear them during the debriefing?" She growled, watching several tears fall on the ground as she glaring down at them. "It can't sustain the atmosphere. I'll get pulled into the Earth's gravity and die. The only way I can go is with a Barzam and they won't teach me how to fly one because it would take to damn long."

"Barzam basic flight and movement and flight courses only take about a hour, if your slow. But your anything but slow. right?" he turned to face her. "I'll bet 15 minutes with me and you in the simulator and you will have no problems at least moving around in a Barzam." he raised a brow. "Though it would have been smart to train in such a craft before you came on this ship," he added.

"I didn't learn how to fly a Barzam because I got assigned the Sazabi during my training. And I never expected something like this happen and come back to bite me in the a**." Demi said as she continued to cry. "I wasn't expecting I'd meet that stupid idiot or make any stupid friends up here. I thought I'd be alone as always. I didn't think I'd lose anyone to stupidity." She said, only crying harder.

"Stupid idiot.." Olskey scoffed. "Should have known better than to attack on his own."
"What does it matter anyway?" Demi snapped. "I can tell right now they'll give up. He's just another missing soldier they don't care. I bet you they have a replacement.." She sighed heavily, walking away for the exit.

In fact they did. inside the ship was a new soldier. He stood at the window, looking at the smoke in the distance with an amused expression. His badge read LT. Rosh.
Geno looked over at Olskey with an unamused expression.
"He tore apart our entire squad alone...That's not stupidity, that's bravado. The only reason he was cut down was because of a surprise attack..."

Demi had paid no attention to the new solider at first and had blown past him, until it dawned her that he had the same ranking on his uniform as Gil.
"...So your Gil's replacement?" She asked, glaring at him from a distance. "Already that quick they toss him aside like trash, huh?"

Rosh would then suddenly find himself on the ground after being hit in the head but what felt like a rock..
"Listen here Jackass!" Demi snapped, grabbing the collar of his shirt and pulling him up. "I can tell right now I'm not going to like you. And I can tell right now that Gil was twice the man you are! He was our best pilot and one of KAVA's best! And if you think I'm going to stand aside and let you talk trash about a man like that then you better think again!"

Rosh looked at her for a moment, before a wry smile appeared on his face. There was a dull thud as his fist rammed into Demi's ribs, probably breaking one.
"Gillian was a fool for always rushing into battle. And now I see that his foolishness has rubbed off onto a lower-ranking officer." he said before kicking her away into a wall.
"Touch me again, and you'll be thrown into an isolation chamber."

Rosh watched them run off with a smirk still on his face before walking off himself to the command bridge.
An engineer from Earth just looked at Demi with an intimidated look on his face.
".....A-are you Demi Charmeine and Dojime Mishiashi..?" he asked in a timid voice, hiding behind a clipboard.
