Axel sighed. "I'll explain everything, just let me finish." He cleared his throat. "Project Greed had three subjects. The goal of the project was to split there personalities, one personality would be the subject, the other would be some form of sin, mostly Greed, Lust, and Pride. After the personalities were split, they would use a machine to 'delete' the sin personality from the subjects' brains." He sighed. "It would 'purify' the subjects. Tearing away there sinful natures... However. The sinful personalities were stronger then what experimenters had thought at first. They took over the subjects and became completely dominant... Unlike them, Miles still has complete control over his body."

Miles looked over at Miyu, he was surprised that she had nothing to say about the subject.

Axel nodded. "That's exactly it. While the others gave in, Miles is still strong enough to have control... And from what I've seen that strength will be what keeps that demon of his shut up."
Miyu looked at the ground silently, letting Axel explain it all.

Miles looked at Axel, "Ok...lets say this thing is a split personality disorder, isnt scientifically impossible for a mental illness to be able to rewrite your genetic code?"

Miles had a quick flashback, he remembered right before the creature took over he was attacked by Akira and how she too changed, "AKIRA!"
