"Well, let me tell you how it was on my end." Edge replied eerily calmly.
"I was ordered to do something wrong. However, I was given the option to do something right. Naturally, I decide to go at it the right way. And when I do, the person I'm trying to help the right way can only insult and belittle me and everything I stand for. As I'm trying to talk to the person, I have to ignore all his childish banter, or else he'd just use it against me. It doesn't mean I didn't listen, it just means I can't fully absorb what's being said.
"But then, I get alone. The ******** brat wants some alone time. So then, I finally get a chance to absorb just how much of an a*****e he is. I realize that I did absolutely nothing wrong, and all he can do is act like a complete a** because I'm trying to help him.
"So, when you come into that situation, and realize just how frustrating is, come talk to me about my current mood and behavior. Because right now, I don't give a ********. I'm tried to be nice but all you could do was be an a*****e. So I'm done playing nice." Edge got up and started to the factory.
"I want to speak to my Commander, alone. So you can sit outside and think about what a jackass you are while I try to figure out why the Hell I'm still helping you."

As Edge went back into the factory, she headed for her discarded armor. Her communications system was built within her helmet, as Hal didn't want work interfering with her off time. Edge scoffed as she picked up the piece of armor. She was willing to be the real reason was because he didn't want to make her any less human by having comm capabilities, even off duty.
As she slid her helmet back on, she gave a sigh.
"Commander, this is Edge. Come in Commander."
