Jin-of-Revamp plus who likes the french anyway? i dont. So far I haven't found much that's French that I think is awesome. Although I haven't really tried their crepes...even then though...not really fond of it. Puerto Ricans have awesome hospitality and great cooking. I LOVED getting home cooking from my friend's mom, it was sooo delish! heart

Some French people are hospitable enough - I've stayed in France when travelling in the past. I guess you need to BE there to truly understand them smile

~Hakubi Ryoko~ Some French people are hospitable enough - I've stayed in France when travelling in the past. I guess you need to BE there to truly understand them smile French hospitality cannot compare to that of the Latino culture. Latino hospitality is so strong you HAVE to accept it. Like the time I was 20 and I kept trying to say "No thanks" an stuff, and ended up drinking the damn nasty normal beer because she wouldn't take "no" for an answer. I mean she was authentic as she immigrated and wasn't very naturalized. She was a very nice and sweet woman though.

Most Latino countries still have laws against underage drinking, Rei. That woman's idea of hospitality could have landed her in trouble smile
Just as well that I've been of drinking age for years now mrgreen

I was later in 20. She knew I wasn't THAT far underaged to be drinking....so she let me have one the privacy of her home. It really wasn't a big deal...if someone's in their late 20s big deal. Besides the drinking age in Puerto Rico is lower then it is here if memory serves correct...

Yeah that IS disgusting to have someone that young be on the path to drinking themselves to death. Parents should really teach their kids that drinking isn't about drunkness...it's about taste! There's nothing interesting about getting anywhere NEAR drunk. All it does is dull your senses and ******** with your sense of balance stare

-Rei-chan = You know... My father was a black Puerto Rican... rather... he is... If he's still Alive... heh, not sure... anyhow... yea, and my mother was Japanese... I used to live with a Puerto Rican family too... they were pretty hospitable... but strict as well...

You must have rather unique looks, with that ancestry. surprised And thanks for the compliment - glad someone sees me for what I am, a friendly person with a dark sense of humour. smile
Rei: I'm very well aware of the TOS and this guild's rules, and while I like to kid around about torture or other things, I keep within the boundaries of taste. I wouldn't flame anyone either - if there were disagreements, I'd insist on a "to each their own" policy. As a leader, you seem rather cool, if rather...pushy about some things (meant in a good way) smile In any case, I know we'll all get along mrgreen
