You're welcome everyone! I'll add more in the future so be sure to bookmark it! heart Notte- The Edea cosplayer is PixieKitty. She does a lot of great cosplays with her fiance (he was Seifer in that photoshoot). Mjolnir- I remember Blue Sub 6! 3nodding The character your friend wants to cosplay is from Last Exile right? How is the show? I remember seeing an article in a 2003 issue of Newtype USA and it seemed interesting. Bio- Did you shake her hand? I would! The world needs more grandmothers like her instead of the typical ignorant ones who buy GTA for their grandkids. For what I'm doing this Halloween, I'm probably going to take my costume from last year and wear it again. Minus the scythe and wings. razz

LMAO, funny you should say that, another old lady came by, and she was the one who I sold the GTA trilogy to, which she bought for her grand kids! Haha!

Hey, I'd rather the old lady buy GTA for her grand kids than say, "Games are stupid. They shouldn't be playing them."
And yes, I got it. Very awesome!

My uncle loves games as much as I do. Almost everytime we'd go over to my aunt and uncle's house, he and I would be up way past everyone else playing The Sims (long before the PS3 came out). Like 3 AM. Was awesome.
Now we usually end up playing the PS3 a lot. We took turns sharing the controller in MGS4 until about 4 or 4:30 AM once. One time he even watched me play some SH2, and he's a devout Christian. For being one, he has great taste in games. Well he's a doctor, I suppose he's mature enough to be able to worship God and play a game from a series that, in some installments, involves birthing God (although not quite the same kind of God xd ).
And my aunt, gawd. Don't ******** around with her when it comes to Duck Hunt. She will demolish you as she did me. crying
And my grandpa loves to play with us grandchildren. It's pretty cool to sit down with some of your cousins and your grandpa and play some Mario Kart Wii or House of the Dead. xd Hell, I mostly play the good ol' SNES with him. It's really fun.

Stranger to Paradise- Thanks, but it's a store bought one. sweatdrop I'm trying to improve my sewing so I can get into cosplay though.
Bio- I was in the middle of using the goggles to follow Naomi's footprints, and I noticed the heard of guinea pigs, so I got out my camera and followed them. You wouldn't believe where they went to. I'll send the second pic I took if you want.
Canas- Your uncle sounds awesome! The only other gamer in my family is my brother but... sad

Sure, I'd love to see it.
I don't sow, or buy costumes. All the costumes I do are authentic, I just buy the clothing I need. Destroy it if I have to, or whatever. I'd do arts and crafts, like papier mache, or whatever else I'd need. But I don't make clothes from scratch. It just seems unauthentic that way.

I think if you have the great skills to be immaculate at sewing cosplays, then you should. I myself enjoy just piecing together the things I need with clothing I find.

I like my cosplays to be of at least movie prop quality. Meaning real holsters, gloves, etc. Authentic military gear--aside from guns, which are airsoft, obviously.

Well duuuh. Who the hell is going to make a gun holster out of nylon fabric? That's mega lame. I'm talking about things like FF cosplays that REQUIRE you to sew.

But... I have better standards than to do a Final Fantasy cosplay in the first place. The closest thing I'd do is Kyle Maddigan from Parasite Eve 2. And it's only close because it's made by the same company.

A costume made of bought products is fine as long as it's stated and proper credit is given, especially if the costume was made by someone else. I hope I get to do at least one cosplay. The one I'm trying to plan is Acha from Toy Pop. It's a very simple outfit overall, so I don't think it will be too difficult to make. After that, I would love to cosplay Kai from The Tower of Druaga. It's one of my dream cosplays. crying

@Angela: Actually, Mayumi Kino is from Blue Sub also. But I know which girl you're talking about. She looks nearly the same though; a clone placed in a different series, perhaps. xD No the girl from Last Exile (I loved that series too) is named Flavie Head. @Canas: I love your uncle, I wish I had family that too. mrgreen Edit 1: Hey Notte, could you consult me on how to make a costume as complex as this one?
